This has been a lackluster season of Dancing with the Stars.

That has a lot to do with the abundance of Z-list celebrities, as few viewers got excited over Louie Vito or Mark Dacascos. But it also has a lot to do with another factor:

The absence of Julianne Hough.

The bombshell is on temporary leave from the show, as she pursues her country music dreams. We wish her the best of luck in this endeavor, but we also wish she'd reconsider and entertain us each week on DWTS. Also, it would be nice if she posed nude at some point.

Julianne did at least make news this week by dyeing her classic blonde locks a light shade of brown. Check out the new look below and weigh in with your opinion on it...

Every day brings a new series of quotes you couldn't make up and/or outfits you would normally find in the tranny scarecrow chic aisle at Target.

Still, somehow it works, because it's her. Case in point ...

Rihanna is known for style moves that most of us could never pull off, but she manages to because her sense of fashion and hairstyles are just that unique.

This newest hair affair of hers, however? Iffy.

There was a new Megan Fox at this year's Spike TV Scream Awards.

First, the actress took a moment to backtrack on any criticism she has directed at Michael Bay and the Transformers franchise. Upon receiving her Best Sci-Fi Actress award, Fox said:

"There have been a lot of false reports concerning how I feel about this movie and I just want to be very clear that I've always felt that I am a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film. These movies took me out of obscurity and they gave me a career and I am completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise."

The gorgeous actress also rocked a new hairstyle.

As great hair goes, it's hard to top natural beauties (and SoCal natives) Blake Lively and Lauren Conrad. But both have departed from their signature looks of late.

Inspired by Conrad's vivid Mara Hoffman dress at last week's Hollywood Style Awards, stylist Byron Williams gave the former star of The Hills some "boho braids."

Last month, Frederic Fekkai stylist Renato Campora used the line's products to turn Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively into a modern day goddess at the Emmys.

That is some ponytail, Blake! Wonder how long that took to do.

Pete Wentz is apparently out to remake his image.

No more eyeliner, and now no more man bangs.

The Fall Out Boy rocker took to his Twitter page to show off a new buzz cut, writing “jay-z had the death of autotune. this is the death of the emo swoosh.”

We're guessing that was the name of his previous hairstyle. Regardless, without the signature locks in his eye, you almost wouldn't recognize Pete Wetnz ...

What's next, button-downs and khakis? As long as he doesn't ditch his wife (Melrose Place star Ashlee Simpson) and baby Bronx, we're all good with it.
