Celebrity Gossip Magazine Not OK! at Spelling

Reese Witherspoon looks wonderful on the new cover of OK! Magazine.

But that's not really what we're concerned with here. Don't get us wrong. Reese rules, and we're glad she's "back on top" from wherever she went. Reese Witherspoon was always and is still an acclaimed movie star, no? Just asking.

Anyway, what we're driving at is the ineptness of OK! - and we're not talking about its shoddy reporting for once! Can you spot the typo in the cover below?

Reese Witherspoon OK! Cover

If you guessed "Ashley & Pete" ... you're right! Come on, OK. Technically you should be right and Joe Simpson would be the idiot who screwed it up, but it doesn't work that way. Everyone knows it's spelled AshlEE Simpson. Get it together.

As for Ashlee's newborn son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, that's not a typo. Unfortunately, AshlEE and Pete named their first-born exactly what they wanted.

Do Not Get Too Close to John Mayer

Trust us, it's for your own good.

The singer-songwriter took a break from wining and dining Jennifer Aniston Tuesday night, and things got a little rough for a celebrity gossip photographer who tried to procure a picture of the crooner but got too close for his bodyguard's liking.

Mayer dined with a friend at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, then departed out the front door, right into the belly of the celeb news monster.

So to speak.

As the douchebag musician ducked into his BMW, his bodyguard shoved a celebrity gossip cameraman to the ground, briefly grabbing him by the throat in the process.

The photographer, Marc Rhea, immediately stood up and started screaming at Mayer & Co. before visiting a Tarzana hospital to make sure he had no serious injuries.

Rhea has not filed a police report. Yet. Here's the altercation ...

MSNBC's Morning F-Bomb

This piece of news is not particularly controversial (it's no Adrienne Bailon nude picture scandal), or pertaining to any major celebrities, but this clip from MSNBC's Morning Joe earlier today is still great comic relief for your Monday afternoon.

In fact, it needs to be seen and heard to be believed.

In discussing Barack Obama's victory in the presidential election, host Joe Scarborough spoke ... in a way you don't normally hear on a news show.

To make matters worse (better?), the genius could not even seem to grasp exactly why his show's panelists were shocked and awed afterward ...

Axed NFL Cheerleader Offers Best Excuse Ever

A New England Patriots cheerleader was booted from the reigning Super Bowl choke artists for drawing penises and swastikas on a drunk dude at a Halloween party.

That's funny enough - but you have to hear her excuse.

In a statement, Caitlin Davis, 18, refused to take responsibility for the offensive images drawn on the passed out fellow, because, "The kid in the picture was a 'drunk guy who passed out and was written on,' as his costume for the night."

It all went down in a dorm at Boston College, says Caitlin Davis (pictured).

"Me and my girls left the dorm and went to another house and came back to the kid passed out on the futon we were suppose [sic] to sleep on. The guys ended up drawing more on him due to the fact that he was the first one to pass out on Halloween night ... At the time I had jumped in the picture with the kid, I didn't realize what had been drawn on him, which I take responsibility for not being alert. Me and my girlfirends [sic] took pictures with him because we found it humorous how badly he was drawn on ... It has taught me so much and and gave me a life experience I'll never forget."

Man, with this flagrant lack of discipline, no wonder the Patriots have three more losses than all of last season. Tom Brady? Rolling in grave as we speak.

Celebrities Renew Calls For Peeps to Not Vote

Here’s the latest PSA from DeclareYourself.com, which encourages people to vote... by telling them not to vote, obviously. It's like reverse psychology, people.

In this one, various celebrities from A- to C-list spoof the previous “Don’t Vote” PSA from the same non-profit organization, and it's actually pretty cool.

The video features Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Ben Stiller, Will Smith, Steven Spielberg, Sacha Baron Cohen (as Borat), Zach Braff, Colin Farrell, Neil Patrick Harris, Scarlett Johansson, Shia LeBeouf, Tobey Maguire, Ryan Reynolds, and Jason Segal...

Don't Vote!

Celebrities Continue to Encourage Voting

Once again, celebrities are intent on getting people to vote. As we've said before, if Gossip Girl stars in t-shirts with the word "vote" on them are the only reason you're thinking of doing so, should you even be voting in the first place? Just a thought.

Aimed at the younger demographic, the three-minute video below features celebs such as Anne Hathaway, Kate Walsh, Marcia Cross and Dana Delany, along with a quartet of Gossip Girl stars - Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford:

Celebrities Urge Peeps Not to Vote

Most PSAs urging people to vote are crap. Rock the Vote? Vote or Die? Crap. If people only care because Diddy tells them to, should they be voting anyway?

At least in this new online video circulating for DeclareYourself.com, some celebrities are using a little reverse psychology and telling Americans not to vote.

The video features Jonah Hill (it's worth watching for his lines if nothing else), will.i.am, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Kate Bosworth, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jaime Foxx, Djimon Hounsou, Eva Longoria, Tobey Maguire, Natalie Portman, Sarah Silverman, Ashton Kutcher, Adam Levine, Ellen DeGeneres, Usher, Forest Whitaker and many others.
