She may be in a ton of pain, but at least pregnancy has allowed Kim Kardashian to experiment with brand new fashion choices.

The reality star posed on the red carpet this week at E!'s Upfront Presentation in New York City, where the network teased the sort of summer and fall programming it can only hopes reaches the heights of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

And Kim debuted some kind of black trenchcoat type thing at the event, stopping and doing what she does best for the camera: exposing her cleavage.

Earlier this week, Kris Jenner assisted in her daughter's battle against the paparazzi by mocking a recent tabloid cover story.

Now, Kim Kardashian has seemingly returned the favor... expensive fashion style!

Jenner posed on the red carpet of E!'s Upfront presentation in New York yesterday wearing the same $3,690 red lace Valentino dress as Kim donned for a fragrance launch last May.

Passed last week and expected to be signed into law, the town's ban targets the public wearing of pants - and, oddly, skirts - that hang “below the waist.” 

If they “expose the skin or undergarments,” violators will be punished as such:

1. $50 for the first offense.
2. $100 for the second offense.
3. $100 plus 16 hours of community service for each subsequent offense.

A California junior high school has banned leggings, which are increasingly worn as a substitute for pants by females these days for reasons unknown.

The school announced the "re-enforcement" of its dress code this week, and that means banning leggings for girls that are a “distraction” in class.

“Leggings have become popular with girls and many are sheer,” Emily Dunnagan, principal of Kenilworth Junior High in Petaluma, Calif., said.

“When girls bend in leggings, threads spread and that’s when it becomes a problem.”

Similar to Lululemon's see-through yoga pants, teenage guys might not consider it a "problem" per se ... but it's definitely a distraction, no doubt.

Lilly Pulitzer Rousseau, the iconic fashion designer of the brand that featured her name, died in Palm Beach, Fla., today, according to her company's Facebook page.

She was 81 years old.

"Lilly has been a true inspiration to us and we will miss her," a statement said. "In the days and weeks ahead we will celebrate all that Lilly meant to us."

The company added of its founder: "Lilly was a true original who has brought together generations through her bright and happy mark on the world."

Lululemon announced this week that Sheree Waterson, its top product executive, is stepping down after last month's see-through yoga pants fiasco.

Waterson's exit comes quickly on the heels of the Canadian company's large recall of Lululemon's popular black yoga pants, due to their sheerness.

A subsequent bending-over test made PR matters even worse.

The pants were recalled because they were unintentionally see-through - 17 percent of all women's yoga pants had the defect - and created a shortfall.

"We appreciate the many contributions that Sheree made during her time with Lululemon, particularly in the area of design," Lululemon's CEO Christine Day said.

In the meantime, guys everywhere will continue to stare at girls in yoga pants, who increasingly use them as a substitute for regular pants, sheer or not.

Brandi Glanville has managed to do the impossible.
