Brittany Snow Swears Off Diets, Weight Loss

Without a doubt, celebrity diets and weight loss work for some.

Other stars, though, have found that the best diet is none at all!

Having weathered the highs and lows of several eating disorders, actress Brittany Snow has sworn off dieting and personal trainers!

"I'm done. I canceled my trainer," Snow, 22, said over the weekend at Stride Gum's Longest Day of the Year party in West Hollywood.

"I refuse to do the whole diet or fitness thing anymore. I just go and have fun. I know what I like, what makes me feel good, and that's what I do."

Brittany Snow has had anorexia, exercise bulimia, depression, and body dysmorphic disorder as a teen - once falling to a Kate Bosworth-esque 85 pounds.

But the cute actress credits fellow star and friend Sophia Bush for helping to coach her on her body image issues and now is doing better!

Queen Latifah: Hail to My Weight Loss

Queen Latifah is more than just a Jenny Craig spokesperson. She's an example that the diet program works!

The Mad Money star is might proud of her recently weight loss, though she wants to emphasize that it was achieved for health, not vanity, reasons.

"My intention was to lose five to 10 percent of my body weight because it makes a difference with health related issues, and I achieved that goal in a couple of months," the Queen said at the first annual National Awards & Recognition Luncheon for The League recently. "I'm excited about this weight loss."

The singer/actress did more than just follow the Jenny Craig program; she hit the gym five to seven days a week, switching between the treadmill or elliptical machine for an hour.

As you can see in the shot above, it shows!

Jennifer Garner Dishes on Celebrity Diet

You might not be able to act like Jennifer Garner (we loved her in Juno), but here's how you can look like the actress.

As reported by Us Weekly, Garner uses personal chef Richard Florczak to keep her body on track, especially after she gave birth to daughter Violet.

Florczak recently shared three easy secrets with Self magazine:

Make "Skinny Sauce"
Florczak suggests satisfying fattening alfredo cravings with this high-fiber, low-fat red pepper sauce:

  • Roast three red peppers or drain a jar of peppers.
  • Sauté with onion and garlic until soft.
  • Blend with one cup chicken broth until smooth and creamy
  • Pour over chicken or pasta

Skip store-bought fattening salad dressing
Florczak recommends making a week's worth of his own non-fat version each Sunday night:

  • Blend ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce, ½ cup rice wine vinegar, 2 tbsp chopped garlic and 1 small peeled and chopped shallot for 30 seconds

Life isn't always easy in Hollywood.

Due to excessive green room buffets and/or unborn children inside their wombs, many celebrities often pack on the pounds.

Through exercise, dieting and air brushing, however, many stars manage to lose the weight, throw on a bikini and get paid by entertainment news reporters for posing on a beach.

Below, we honor the beauties that make a point of looking good, so we can make a point of searching for them on the Internet.

For example, here's a shot at Lauren Conrad. The Hills star says she was so self-conscious, before shedding six pounds, that she "wore a one-piece bathing suit the entire time" while on vacation in Mexico. The horror!
