A publicist for Michael Jordan has confirmed a report first released by WCNC in Charlotte: he proposed this week to long-time girlfriend Yvette Prieto... and she said yes!

The greatest basketball player to ever live and the Cuban/American model have been dating for three years and the engagement took place over Christmas weekend. No wedding date has been set.

Jordan, the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats has three kids with Juanita Vanoy. They were married in September 1989 and got divorced in 2006.

As we know, the rumor mill has been swirling in recent months with speculation that things aren't going well between Katy Perry and Russell Brand.

Looks like it may not be just rumors.

A source confirms to E! that Katy and Russell have been "having problems" and that they've been spending "a lot of time apart," including Christmas.

The "Teenage Dream" singer was spotted swimming in Hawaii over the holiday with her friends, while Russell was reportedly in England for the weekend.

Perry and Brand wed in India in October of last year.

A source adds that things began getting more and more tense between the two in early December and that Katy Perry has been "a mess" about it at times.

The couple shrugged off the divorce rumors at the time, but clearly there's trouble in paradise. Can they work it out? We can only hope for their sake.

The insider says Cooper and Saldana may go skiing together in the Rockies to celebrate the holidays, while they've started telling family and friends that they are, indeed, an item.

Saldana recently split with Keith Britton, her boyfriend of 11 years.

Steven Tyler is engaged to Erin Brady, according to reports.

TMZ spotted a rock on her finger this weekend and cites sources claiming it is in fact an engagement ring. It is a rather large diamond, for sure.

Tyler, 63, and Brady, 38, were in Maui on Christmas day along with her massive ring. It's unclear if Tyler proposed before or during the vacation.

The two have been dating since 2006. The American Idol judge and Aerosmith rock legend has been married twice before. Liv Tyler is his daughter.

Singer John Legend proposed to his model girlfriend, Chrissy Teigen, on Sunday, his rep confirms to People. The event took place while the pair vacationed in the Maldives and here's the best part: she said yes!

It's okay. They're engaged.

Legend - who celebrates a birthday tomorrow - and Teigen started dating in 2007. She has appeared multiple times in Sports Illustrated and he will perform in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve. We wish our very best to the couple!

According to Star, there's a sordid secret behind the collapse of this 12-year relationship: Jennifer betrayed Chaz in a major way by cozying up to his ex Heidi Shink.

Jennifer was a guest at a private party hosted by Chaz's ex-girlfriend Heidi Shink at her L.A. home in mid-November, according to alleged insiders.

"There was a ton of wine and food," Viktor Budnik, who attended the party, says in an exclusive interview, adding "They were doing wine pairings."
