We're pleased to announce that one of the favorite celebrities of The Hollywood Gossip staff celebrates a birthday today. Carrie Underwood is 25!

The Oklahoma native won the fourth season of American Idol and is one of the most commercially successful artists to be spawned by the Fox reality show, rivaled only by the likes of Chris Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson.

Aside from her country music hits, Underwood's appeal can be attributed to her wholesome image. More Julianne Hough than Britney Spears, Carrie meshes beauty and talent with a grounded, down-to-earth and effervescent personality.

As for her personal life, Carrie Underwood used to date Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo and has been linked to Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford.

She is a two-time winner of PETA's "World's Sexiest Vegetarian" contest, a People magazine "Most Beautiful People" list entrant in 2007, and the world's "Sexiest Female Musician" as determined by Victoria's Secret.

While the anti-Semitic photo scandal has tarnished Kat Von D in the eyes of some fans, the TLC tattoo artist and resident controversy magnet remains popular.

The body-covered-in-tattoos thing doesn't really do it for us, but a lot of guys dig it, making the LA Ink star (full name Katherine Von Drachenberg) a frequent object of male affection. Must be the bad-ass, biker-chick image and attitude.

That or the image of Kat Von D naked or topless, which the now 26-year-old doesn't exactly shy away from giving her legions of fans a taste of ...

Little known fact: Nick Zano's real name is Nicholas Crapanzano. Really. We would trade it in for a shorter stage name, too, man. Good move.

We're pleased to announce that of our favorite celebrities celebrates a birthday today. The beautiful and oh-so-sweet Whitney Port of The Hills fame is now 23!

Always there to lend a sympathetic ear or to give sage advice to friends like Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port is a breath of fresh air in The Hills' catty world.

The Los Angeles native is also beautiful, in our opinion, and not in a way that looks like she's trying way too hard. Like, say, Heidi Montag, perhaps?

  Cute expressions like this one have made Whitney Port a Hills fan favorite.

A pair of useless celebrities celebrated birthdays yesterday.

Paris Hilton turned 27 and partied it up at Pure night club in Las Vegas alongside the Pussycat Dolls over the weekend. She looked more skanked out than usual as she did so.

Also, Denise Richards turned 36. While we wouldn't have had anything negative to say about the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen last month, recent news that she's pimping out her children on an upcoming reality show might actually rank the actress below Hilton now.

Heading for The Hills? Don't forget your party hat â€" that was the message for guests at Lauren Conrad's 22nd birthday bash this week.

NOTE: Unlike Justin Timberlake, who actually turned 27 today (woo!), Lauren Conrad's birthday isn't until tomorrow (February 1).

But hey, why not get a head start, right?

Right. LC celebrated with her (predominantly female) posse at Hollywood hot spot Katsuya. But it wasn't all play for the reality TV star.

She stars on The Hills, after all, so crew members arrived almost an hour before Lauren Conrad's 9:45 p.m. appearance at the venue to smooth out technical issues and set up their shots â€" standard operating procedure.

When the guests arrived â€" including Lauren's old friend and new roommate Lauren Bosworth (a.k.a. "Lo," above) and Whitney Port â€" they were wearing party hats, and kept them while enjoying edamame, spicy tuna and birthday cake.

"The group toasted Conrad's birthday during their meal and couldn't have looked happier together," a witness reports.

As for the birthday girl? Lauren Conrad sipped a watermelon-cucumber mojito and "was just chatting with all of her friends and [smiling]."

After cake was served, the party dispersed and The Hills gals worked some set-ups with the crew for the show's new season. We can't wait!

The Super Bowl is renowned for its memorable commercials, as well as halftime music entertainment and maybe even a little pigskin action.

With all the attention Carla Bruni is receiving these days for possibly becoming the First Lady of France, the likely future Queen of England has gone relatively unnoticed.

Both of these revelations and many others stemmed from Saturday night in Sin City, where Kristin Cavallari celebrated her 21st birthday.

The former Laguna Beach star wouldn't divulge whether she will be joining MTV's The Hills, only saying that "it's a great show."

But the SoCal cutie certainly partied like The Hills cast does as she got down to Soulja Boy on the dance floor and hung with friends.

"My first official drink was Grey Goose and soda," she said. "It's really exciting. I can go to the clubs and not worry about anything."

Kristin Cavallari was joined by fellow Laguna Beach alumna and good friend Alex Murrel, spent the night chatting up Matt Leinart, the USC grad and current Arizona Cardinals quarterback who's also a reputed former flame of hers.

Following her dinner at Company American Bistro, Kristin Cavallari's highlight was the sparkling birthday cake that was brought out for her.

Saturday night capped the weekend-long celebration for the infamous and sexy high school rival of Lauren Conrad. As soon as the clocks struck midnight on Saturday, a newly single Cavallari - who recently broke up with longtime beau Nick Zano - headed to Pure Nightclub to take in the sights.

As for her love life? Kristin Cavallari wouldn't reveal details on the boy(s) she's seeing, only saying that she is dating "and having fun."
