Jessica Simpson says her daughter made her presence known early on.

"We were just about to [go] all-day drinking," the singer and Fashion Star mentor recalls to Elle, which features Jessica Simpson nude on the cover of its new issue.

"We were off to ride our bikes, hang out. But I felt this overwhelming guilt. Why would I feel guilt at the idea of going out and having cocktails with friends?"

With an inkling that something was a little off, the 31-year-old Simpson took a home pregnancy test – and discovered she was expecting with fiance Eric Johnson.

Instantly, her life changed.

"I'm a free-spirited girl, but giving up my scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me!" she says.  "Though now that doesn't even sound good, being pregnant."

"You crave other things. A big thing of water sounds great!"

Jessica Simpson drinks scotch? Seems more like a Bud Light kind of girl. Or at least a fruity margarita. In any case, just give it a few months, girl. Congrats!

This just in: Snooki's pregnant! And engaged!

We've actually known about this for weeks, but Snook wanted to wait until she passed the 12-week mark (she's 15 weeks along) and score the obligatory tabloid cover deal before "revealing" to the riveted public that she is in fact pregnant.

Speaking of which, here's this week's Us!

The Jersey Shore star and fiance LaValle, both 24, know just what detractors are thinking, but that just makes them even more committed to do this right.

"I have such different priorities now," reformed party girl Snooki says. "I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready."

Adds a dutiful Jionni LaValle: "We are not going to screw this up."

The once pouf-haired star and LaValle discovered the news "right after New Year's," Snooki said. Her first thought? "'S--t, I've been drinking!'"

Raise your hand if you're absolutely floored by that revelation.

"I was worried. It was New Year's Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy," she admits. Fortunately, all is well ... save for the apocalypse in 5-6 months.

A fake source close to the Oscar-winner reveals AGAIN that Angelina Jolie is pregnant with her seventh child and telling friends she can't wait to be a mom again.

Congratulations on this exciting non-news!

"She's almost three months along," the source confirms to this great tabloid.

It's not something she wants to officially announce yet (shocking), "but she's at the point where she is telling a select group of people."

None of whom are real, make no mistake. But a very select group.

Adds an insider: Angelina is really savoring every moment. she's having a tough time with morning sickness but says it's all worth it."

"I love being pregnant," Angelina said ... in the past, and in general terms.

"You feel like more like a woman than you've ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby."

We now return to gossip that may have a 1 percent chance of being true.

The 31-year-old, whose fashion empire is actually much more successful than either her singing or acting career, confirms that she is having a girl. Aww.

That youngster had better be as style savvy as her mama, too.

“I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!” the Fashion Star mentor says of the daughter she’s expecting.

“Eric is so athletic - we’re gonna have this athletic girl' I won’t even be able to take her shopping, ’cause all she’s gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!”

Snooki is pregnant and engaged. Maybe you heard.

The Jersey Shore star is still in the early stages of her pregnancy, and has yet to confirm officially that she is with child (or engaged) but it's out of the bag.

She already has a list of names in mind for her baby, too.

If the Snooki spawn is a boy, she is said to favor Jionni Jr., after her fiance. For a girl, she recently said she loves the names Isabella or ... Giana.

Polizzi said she would also consider Tony and Frankie as boy names, but a mini Jionni LaValle might end up going by the same name as his daddy. Aww.

But Snooki may one day have a chance to use all of those.

"Family is a big thing for me and I can't wait to start a family," she told People this winter. "I definitely want a big family – like four or five kids poppin' out!"

Former Saved by the Bell star Elizabeth Berkley announced to People this week that she and husband Greg Lauren are expecting their first child.

“In life there are moments you cherish forever and this is one of them,” Berkley told the magazine. “Greg and I are so excited to be expecting our first child this summer. We couldn’t be more grateful and overjoyed.”

Berkley will forever be known as Jessie Spano to a generation of Saved by the Bell fans, but has also penned a book titled "Ask Elizabeth" and appeared on episodes of CSI: Miami and The L Word. We wish her child health, happiness and a lack of caffeine pill addictions.

Count Snooki's ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella among the millions upon millions who worry that the world is by no means ready for a mini-Snooki spawn.

Still, who the heck says this:

"I hope for her sake ... not to be rude or anything ... but I hope she has a miscarriage." Well then, tell us how you really feel there, Emilio.

Emilio says hearing that Jionni LaValle got Snooki pregnant is scary: "When I was with her, she said she wanted twins. She would always say 'Let’s have twins.'"

"I would def recommend her to get a paternity test to see who the father is because I’m sure there are other subjects ... Vinny could easily be the father."

Hey, Emilio said it, not us.

As for whether Snooki, who is not only pregnant, but engaged to Jionni LaValle, will marry her man? Yes, Emilio says, but Snook will "pull a Kim Kardashian."

Someone's going to be getting a cease and desist letter REAL quick.

Not only is Snooki pregnant courtesy of Jionni LaValle, she's engaged to the guy.

According to People, citing unnamed, close sources, the Jersey Shore star and her now husband-to-be quietly got engaged and will welcome a baby later this year.

"I know he's the one so I know the ring's gonna come soon," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi said earlier this year, though she said she had no idea a proposal was coming.

Snooki and Jionni LaValle have been together for over a year, despite her penchant for dropping her pants every time alcohol and Vinny Guadagnino are around.

Rumors first surfaced that she was expecting in late January / early February, but she denied it, telling GMA, "I definitely do want kids, but I'm not pregnant."

That was BS. To her credit, but still. Snooki reportedly did not want to make the public announcement until she passed 12 weeks ... or got a tabloid cover deal.

Snook's rep and MTV have not commented, but the cat is out of the bag. Not only have multiple sources let it slip, but baby stores in Jersey City were tipped off.

The 24-year-old hard-partying, GTL-loving star has reportedly turned over a new leaf and is determined to take pregnancy and impending motherhood seriously.

We'll believe it when we see it, but here's hoping.

Vanessa Lachey (formerly Minnillo) and her husband Nick Lachey are expecting a baby, Nick himself confirmed on Live! With Kelly, which he co-hosted Monday.

The female Lachey is due late summer or early fall.

She "started to feel a little different, not herself," Nick said. "So she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!"

The dad-to-be added: "I've had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to."

"The fact that it's actually here, it's overwhelming."

And while the couple doesn't yet know the sex of the baby, they will – if Nick has anything to do with it. "We definitely want to know," Lachey told Ripa.

"I can't take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I don't know. It's like watching a sports game on TiVo," mused the singer, 38.

This will be the first child for Nick and Vanessa, who got married in July 2011, and have been together for more than five years. Congratulations!

The fact that someone got Snooki pregnant is truly a scary thought.

Fortunately, it looks like the Jersey Shore star herself got the memo.

According to those close to the MTV train wreck, she's undergoing a major personal transformation, determined to become a responsible member of society who takes pregnancy and impending motherhood very, very seriously.

It's okay, you can laugh. We did.

Sources close to Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi say that ever since discovered she was expecting her first child, she quit drinking, quit screwing around and convinced the people around her that she could not only handle it, but be "mother of the year."

We'll believe that when we see it. No offense Snook.

Snooki does come from a loving family and despite being a total drunken promiscuous mess, understands what it takes to become a responsible mother.
