Casey Johnson may have been a member of the ultra wealthy Johnson & Johnson family when she died this year, but her bank account did not represent a great fortune.

According to legal documents unearthed by TMZ, the troubled heiress passed away with approximately $75,000 in assets and no will.

Casey's father, the owner of the New York Jets, is asking the court to appoint him Special Administrator of his daughter's estate.

"It is necessary for him to take possession of all of the assets... as quickly as possible to preserve her estate from damage, waste, injury and publicity," reads the document in question.

Meanwhile, Casey's mom, Nancy Sale Frey Johnson, has custody of Casey's daughter, Ava. She'll likely begin legal procedures to adopt the tyke soon, a fact that won't sit well with Tila Tequila.

Then again, Tila Tequila might be dead. She hasn't Tweeted anything in days. Please be on the lookout for a crazy women wearing a fake pregnancy stomach.

Earlier this month, a Los Angeles coroner confirmed that Casey Johnson died of diabetes-related complications. He specifically cited an issue known as "diabetic ketoacidosis," which is caused by a lack of insulin.

Yesterday afternoon, meanwhile, the L.A. County Coroner's Office released the official autopsy report for Johnson's death and it revealed a few details related to the tragedy:

  • Casey's body was free from injury of any kind.
  • Multiple medications found at the scene included Motrin, insulin and clonazepam.
  • The report cites a "possible excess use of Nyquil."
  • No illegal drugs were found in Johnson's system.

Two sad notes related to the Johnson & Johnson family heiress: her death was preventable if she had taken better care of herself; and her body may have been found on January 4, but it lay in her home, undiscovered, for days.

As shocking as it may seem, Casey Johnson did not kill herself in order to get away from Tila Tequila.

Instead, the Los Angeles coroner has confirmed that the heiress died of natural causes. He specifically cited "diabetic ketoacidosis" (a condition caused by a shortage of insulin) as the cause of death.

Johnson, Casey

The daughter of the Johnson & Johnson founder, who suffered from severe diabetes since her youth, was found dead on January 4.

Police reportedly discovered hypodermic needles in her home and suspect Casey partied the night before she died, neglecting to take her insulin.

Since then, Tequila and Courtenay Semel have given numerous interviews, clearly exploiting Johnson's death and even publicizing a sex tape she made years ago. It's been utterly shamless on their part.

This is the most beautiful piece of art work we have ever seen in our lives...

Is Courtenay Semel describing her and ex-girlfriend Casey Johnson's reactions to the Mona Lisa? The Sistine Chapel? Da Vinci's The Last Supper? Not exactly.

In a new interview with E! News, Semel is instead referring to the sex tape made between these two socialites. They created it, she says, in order to profit from the amateur porn and break free from their rich parents.

"We had our own sex tape," Courtenay said. "It was either listen to our families and do what they say to get our lives back, or do it ourselves and sell this tape, work on our show. That was kind of our plan."

Before this plan could be executed, Semel and Johnson broke up in late 2008 and then - like their loins in the aforementioned video - the former set the latter's hair on fire.

  • Another Sex Tape Star

Courtenay said the idea was to sell the tape and then make even more money off a reality series. Now, however, the video is (somehow) in the Johnson family's possession.

"Our show could've gone after that," she said. "Casey and Courtenay were going to make Casey and Courtenay happen."

Unlike Tila Tequila, who seems more interested in profiting from Johnson's death than mourning her ex, Semel actually has seemed broken up over Casey's passing.

But now we're left to wonder which is worse: Tweeting obessively about your former flame, or waiting until she's dead to tell the world about a sex tape you made with her? Debate that question and watch Semel's E! interview below.

Note to Tila Tequila:

This is how you mourn a loved one... sort of.

While that troubled reality star continues to Tweet, pimp out her record level and exploit the death of Casey Johnson in every conceivable way, Courtenay Semel has released an emotional video tribute to her ex-girlfriend.

Granted, the video aired on E! News and there's a good chance Semel was paid to make it. She also butchers the English language by saying Johnson was "literally" her other half, and makes a vow to never date anyone again that is unlikely to be kept.

But at least this is the only time Courtenay has spoken out about Casey. Do the words seem strong for someone whose hair Semel once set on fire? Yes. But, hey, who are we to judge?!?

Watch the tribute below.

We hope you're sitting down. This may come as a shock, but sources close to Casey Johnson say her relationship with Tila Tequila was just a huge publicity stunt.

This came from Casey's own mouth in the weeks before her tragic death last week, according to two of the late Johnson & Johnson heiress' friends cited by TMZ.

Bisexual

The friends came forward today and said that they each received separate calls from Casey Johnson saying her engagement to Tila Tequila was "all for show."

Casey told them she met her only three days before the infamous engagement video and made it very clear to both that she and Tila were not together.

May Casey Johnson rest in peace. May Tila Tequila go away forever.

Oddly enough, one of the friends even says Tila was in the room when Casey made the calls. We don't know if this makes Tila's recent actions better or worse.

The publicity whore has been Twittering up a storm, effectively play the grieving victim, elicit sympathy and milking Johnson's death for everything it's worth.

Fake mourning your fake fiancee for a 16th minute of fame? Even pretending to be on suicide watch? That's a new low, even for the lowest form of life on earth.

Tila is now saying she wants custody of Casey's daughter too. Not that she was ever married to Johnson or has legal standing ... but why let that stop you?

Following her widely-criticized Twitter rants and cries for attention, Tila Tequila had her apperance on Larry King canceled last night.

But People has gone ahead with a feature on Casey Johnson's quasi widow, who opens up to the publication about first meeting the woman she refers to as her "wife." Read the excerpts below at your own nauseating risk...

On her first impression of Casey: One day I texted and she was the cutest thing ever. She was nothing I had envisioned. I thought, I cannot believe this is the Casey Johnson people used to tell me about.

On their first date: She was so nervous at my house. Dropping things. I could tell she was nervous... We just ended up laughing all night. We just fell in love.

On their engagement: One night she comes over and she was so nervous. I was like what's wrong with you, calm down!" Tequila recalls. "She was so nervous and so cute and finally she pulled out this fat ring that I had never seen before.

On Casey's daughter: I was going to adopt Ava and we decided she would call her Mommy and me Mommy T. We were going to have a big family.

On reaction to Casey's death: My therapist put me on suicide watch. I've been getting help but I'm fine now. I know Casey wants me to be alive and she hates seeing me like this. She always hated it when she would see me cry.

In related news, Tila has posted 37 Tweets in the time it took you to read this article. She's good.

We hope Tila Tequila is taking a 30-second break from Tweeting and actually reading THG right now. Listen up, crazy girl:

Nicky Hilton did not kill Casey Johnson's dogs. They are alive and well, as sources tell TMZ Elvis and Zoe were "taken to a veterinarian in Los Angeles for full checkups and were then released to the [Johnson] family."

  • Nicky H.
  • Mourning Tila

Tila Tequila, please calm down about those supposedly suffering dogs now. And put on some clothes.

A few days ago, Tila called the police when Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips came over to take the puppies away. Tequila has since Tweeted non-stop about how Casey's two friends were planning on putting the canines to sleep.

But there's now proof that the animals are alive. After the aforementioned checkup, Hilton Tweeted: "Hope this clears up all the rumors."

It does. We apologize to readers for wasting their time over this nonsense.

We know you'd prefer to read about Morgan Christie, Jon Gosselin's new girlfriend. Please go do so.

Tila Tequila continues to mourn the passing of Casey Johnson in an unusual, publicity-whorish manner.

Just hours after she posed seductively for the paparazzi surrounding her home, Tequila has gone on yet another Twitter rant against Casey's family.

Scarcely Clothed

In a new post, she refers to them as "piece[s] of s- - -" that "abandoned" their daughter and adds:

"Some ppl think just cuz they're rich that they can just stomp all over other ppl. Even if that means taking away their daughters happiness! My Wife hated them. Just wait til I tell everyone the truth I have proof."

Tila is certifiably insane and is inexcusably using Casey's death to garner headlines for herself. But her facts in this instance aren't entirely off base.

Johnson's family cut ties with their daughter years ago, citing the drug and alcohol abuse that led to her unstable behavior. Her father, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson, lost his brother to a drug overdose in 1975 and is sensitive to the issue.

The New York Daily News reports he hoped this example of tough love would set Casey straight. Sadly, it didn't work out that way.

And Tequila won't let anyone forget it: "Her family abandoned her for 5 years, her friends never called her, ONLY I DID," she wrote. "Who was there for her? I WAS! I took care of EVERYTHING!"

Early this morning, Tila said she promised to "tell all" about Casey's personal life. We have no idea what that means, but we do know this much: Tequila is an extraordinarily troubled individual.

While Casey Johnson's death has caused heartbreak for her friends and loved ones, it's also caused an ex-lover's tiff between two of the socialite's former girlfriends.

Since Johnson passed away last week, Tila Tequila has sent out over 75 Twitter messages. They've grown uglier over time, as Casey's fiancee has found herself under fire from many of Johnson's friends and family members.

Book Reader

Yesterday, for example, Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips came over to take Casey's dogs away from Tila. She called the police on them and has since Tweeted allegations that the two friends have put the canines to sleep.

"I guarantee that those poor little doggie has been put to sleep as I type this.... If any1 is an animal lover like me, putting a dog to sleep before it's time is just wrong & that's what they did."

Hilton and Phillips both deny they have any intention of taking this action against the animals.

Courtenay Semel and Tila Tequila were once happy and in love. But that was a long time ago.

Meanwhile, Tila has also typed out against those that claim she took advantage of Johnson, essentially making up their engagement for the sake of publicity.

"Casey Picked ME Over Her Family & Thats Why They R All Badmouthing Me in Press Cuz She Loved Me More," Tequila wrote. "I Can't Bring Her Back Now But At Least I know the Love Between us WAS REAL & They CAN NEVER TAKE THAT AWAY!"

Courtenay Semel isn't trying to take anything away.

But the ex-lover of both Johnson and Tequila is sick of the manner in which Tila is exploiting this tragedy. She told People magazine:

"The thing I find the most sickening is that the media is giving [her] the one thing she craves: attention. Tila, you knew her for a week."

Just a couple weeks before Johnson died, Tila went off on Courtenay, referring to her as a vile and evil person. Upon the death of their mutual acquiantance, it doesn't seem like this feud will be resting in peace any time soon.
