Brooklyn Decker Removes Top, Covers 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition

Andy Roddick has been unlucky in his professional life. The tennis star would likely have many more major titles to his name if he played in an era that didn't include the greatest player of all-time, Roger Federer.

But any sympathy you might have for Roddick goes out the window as soon as you realize how fortunate he's been in love: the guy is married to Brooklyn Decker.

No longer a little-known model, Decker has reached the pinnacle of her business. She headlines the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. The cover was revealed on last night's The Late Show with David Letterman, as the host unveiled the photo below as a Times Square billboard.

In related news, THG may soon move its headquarters to midtown Manhattan...

Sports Illustrated Cover

Tweeted Decker last night: "The issue is amazing, glowing, fun, the girls are happy... it’s not over-the-top, the girls and editors should be so proud! THANK YOU ALL!!!”

No, Brooklyn, thank you.

Quick background on the model, who will be interviewed by Letterman tonight and all over the news this week: she hails frim Kettering, Ohio; was discovered in a North Carolina shopping mall; and moved to New York to model.

She's also guest-starred on Chuck, Royal Pains and Ugly Betty.

We'd like to ugly her betty... if you know what we mean! In case you don't, just click on the photos below for more shots of Decker in this issue of Sports Illustrated:

The City Recap: "Forget About Boys"

On The City this week, Whitney went on a blind date, Roxy's expectations of her new guy are not met, and Olivia impresses at a Brooklyn Decker photo shoot.

Below, The Hollywood Gossip staff breaks down the events on last night's episode of The Hills spinoff, awarding and deducting points as we deem appropriate ...

Roxy Olin imparts sage advice: Never leave food on the counter. Plus 1.

Whitney Port is going on a "full-on blind date." How can it truly be a blind date if he has to sign a waiver beforehand? She knows exactly who it is. Minus 2.

Blind date Patrick on his job description: "Basically I convince people to buy expensive clothes." Plus 4 for honesty, but Minus 2 for lame fashion acronyms.

Roxy and Zac seem like they could be a cute couple. For now. Plus 3.

Patrick encourages Whitney to "join forces" on the bill. We were getting a douche vibe, and this confirmed it. Why not just ask MTV to cover it, Pat? Minus 6.

Whitney, Olivia, Erin and Roxy

Olivia Palermo and Erin Kaplan's task for this week involves Brooklyn Decker pictures in Elle. Plus 5, because Brooklyn rules, and so does her husband A-Rodd.

Roxy to Whitney: "You have to come. I need you as my wing man." Poor Whitney. Always a wing man, never the It Girl. Not even on her own show. Minus 3.

Erin goes off on Olivia to Joe Zee about Olivia "expecting her hand to be held." It's almost as if she's calling out the network for giving Olivia the job. Plus 5.

Zac, despite being billed as "Roxy's date," rolls up in the club with a pack of hot girls. Kind of a d!ck move, but Minus 2 for Roxy unjustly berating him for it.

Plus 1 for the blatant Cobra Starship plug. 21st Century payola? Plus 2 more for the guy defending Olivia as "a babe" when Erin complains about her.

Roxy and Whitney annoyingly go on and on and on about their boring boy problems, but like last week, Kelly Cutrone berates their "quilting circle," so Even.

Man, Erin is gonna straight up murder Olivia soon. You can practically see the steam spilling out of her ears. Plus 2, because at least it'll be televised.

TOTAL: +8. SEASON TOTAL: +7. Annoying at times, but at least Kelly calls out Roxy and Whitney, and we can't wait to watch Erin absolutely snap.

Brooklyn Decker to Guest Star on Ugly Betty

Fresh off an appearance on Royal Pains, gorgeous Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker is returning to TV with a guest role on Ugly Betty this fall.

The wife of Andy Rodick will appear as Betty's co-worker Lexie. Decker, 22, sort of confirmed her appearance with this post on her Twitter this week:

“Working on an amazing set!! Can’t tell you guys what it is... Just yet," she Tweeted. "But I can tell you I’m loving it and can’t wait to spill the beans!”

The beans have been spilled. Sorry, B-Deck.

She also appeared on one episode of Chuck last season. Here's hoping for lots more appearances on TV. Or at least more SI Brooklyn Decker pictures.

Brooklyn Decker Does GQ

When Andy Roddick lost the Wimbledon final to Roger Federer, we died a little inside. Then we remembered he is married to Brooklyn Decker and we got over it.

Mrs. Roddick, 21, a Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition staple, has lent her amazing looks to a different men's magazine this time, posing in the near-buff for GQ.

Needless to say, GQ should be grateful for the loaner model ...

B-Deck, who recently guest starred on Royal Pains, tied the knot with the tennis pro in April. We hope A-Rodd makes a run at the U.S. Open title starting August 31.

Mostly so we can see lots of Brooklyn on TV, but also because he's a cool guy.

Brooklyn Decker to Guest Star on Royal Pains

Get ready to see a different side of Brooklyn.

It's a tale of beauty and the geek when SI supermodel Brooklyn Decker and House star Peter Jacobson play mismatched newlyweds on USA's Royal Pains.

In the show's July 30 episode, Decker (the real-life wife of tennis ace Andy Roddick) plays swimsuit model Rachel, while Jacobson is Alan, her hubby.

When Alan's allergies threaten to turn the couple's dreamy Hamptons honeymoon into a nightmare, it's Mark Feuerstein's Dr. Hank to the rescue.

Mrs. Andy Roddick is coming to television July 30. Not soon enough.

If you've never checked out Royal Pains, this would be a great excuse to start. We would imagine that Decker could boost a lot of shows' ratings!

Brooklyn Decker Still Loves Married Life

Two months after tying the knot and creating a near-perfect gene pool for their future model and tennis player children, Andy Roddick and Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue mainstay Brooklyn Decker couldn't be happier with married life.

"It's great, it’s wonderful," she said at last weekend's Whitney Contemporaries Art Party and Auction in NYC. "Nothing's changed ... in a good way. So it's nice."

With these two, how could it be anything but?

Before honeymooning in Costa Rica, Brooklyn Decker's wedding to Andy Roddick on April 17 consisted of an intimate ceremony of close family and friends at his Texas home. The wedding included a performance by Elton John, as well.

"It was pretty amazing," she said. "It was unbelievable."

Was it the wedding of her dreams?

"Yes," she said. "Absolutely!"

This now concludes the news portion of this article. Let's move on to the more important component: A link to our gallery of Brooklyn Decker pictures!

Brooklyn Decker: Married Life is Amazing

Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick's dream wedding may have ended, but the happy, newly-wedded couple are still enjoying their honeymoon phase.

Being married "is great. It's amazing," the 21-year-old said at the MET Costume Institute Gala Monday at New York's Metropolitan Musuem of Art.

Still, she adds, life after tying the knot on April 17 with the tennis champ "feels the same. It's the same as being engaged, it's the same as dating."

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model admitted that she has had at least one disagreement with her new hubby so far: What to wear to the Met.

"He told me not to wear pants," Brooklyn Decker said, glancing down at her sequined Derek Lam pantsuit with a laugh. "But I wore them anyway. It's cold! I wanted to be comfortable but he said, 'You can't wear pants. It's the Met!'"

The New York gala was certainly a change of scenery after the couple's intimate honeymoon in Costa Rica, following their Austin wedding.

"It was quiet and lovely and nice that we got to be away from the madness of the wedding," says Decker. "So it was good. It was wonderful."

The pair hit the cloud forests for an eco-tour. "We did the zip lines," she says. "It was great, it was lovely. We had a good time."

Andy Roddick Gushes About Brooklyn Decker, Wedding

Andy Roddick may be used to the glitz and glam of Hollywood – but having Sir Elton John sing at his recent wedding to Brooklyn Decker was "very, very surreal."

The tennis star writes on his official site:

"It was great to have so many of our family and friends make the trip and share the occasion," writes Andy, who wed Decker in his backyard in Austin, Texas.

"We had to set up a tent 'cause the weather was not agreeing with us, but it ended up working out, so it's all good."

Among the wedding guests were tennis stars Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi – and, of course, Elton John, whose gift was to sing at the couple's reception.

Having the music legend on hand "was beyond awesome," Roddick writes. "For him to make time for us, needless to say it was beyond amazing."

But still, for Roddick and his Sports Illustrated swimsuit model bride, being surrounded by so many loved ones was the best part of the day.

"It was one of the only times in our entire lives that we will have family, our best friends from home, and our professional worlds in the same place at the same time and it definitely all went too fast," he wrote.

Fortunately, our gallery of Brooklyn Decker pictures will always be in the same place. And you browse as slowly as you like. Click to enlarge:

Photos: Andy Roddick & Brooklyn Decker's Wedding Day

Marrying in a twilight ceremony at his Austin, Texas, home, Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker's wedding day was an occasion the tennis star and model will always remember. Below are a couple of images from the weekend festivities.

On the left, Roddick calmed his nerves before walking down the aisle with a game of golf. On the right, Brooklyn dazzled in her white wedding dress.

Sporting a Vera Wang gown, Sports Illustrated model Decker, 21, tied the knot with the tennis pro, 26, before a small group of family and friends.

After the nuptials, the celebration continued at Roddick's local country club where his friend, Sir Elton John, serenaded the couple and their guests.

"They're absolutely perfect for each other," a family friend said.

Roddick and Decker, who started dating in 2007, announced their engagement in March 2008. The pair first met after Roddick asked his agent to track down a number for Decker, who appeared in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition.

Way to take initiative, A-Rodd. Check out our gallery of Brooklyn Decker pictures and you'll see how she captured the former #1 player's attention!

Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker: Married!

It's official: A Rodd is now a very, very lucky man.

Andy Roddick married his longtime, breathtaking girlfriend, Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker, in an intimate ceremony last night.

"It was really simple but beautiful," a source said. "Just close friends and family."

Together Forever

Elton John performed at the event, which took place at the tennis star's house. Roddick proposed to Decker in March 2008, but said the couple wasn't in a rush to walk down the aisle.

That's likely because they were in a rush get exercise of a different kind in bed. After all, have you seen Brooklyn Decker photos?!?
