As you know, the drama earlier this week set off a Hollywood gossip firestorm. In Touch Magazine ran an exclusive about a pregnant Britney Spears, citing a direct quote from the alleged baby daddy, music producer J.R. Rotem.

Later that same day, Britney Spears' friend, Sam Lutfi, sent a text message to Ryan Seacrest saying the JR Rotem pregnancy rumor is fake.

Everyone knows celebrity news outlets take major creative liberties in the spread of gossip, but this incident went beyond that - what made In Touch boldly proclaim this was fact - only to have Spears' camp instantly say the story is bogus?

Well, the embattled magazine says it has "proof" - the irrefutable, unquestionable, visual kind of proof - that J.R. Rotem confirmed to them that he got Britney Spears pregnant, for real, and that wasn't sure about her plans for the kid...

The supposed proof: These text messages allegedly sent by J.R. Rotem.

The magazine has released pictures of a Blackberry with text messages from one J.R. Rotem, responding "It's true" (left) to the following statement from an In Touch staffer: "They are saying Britney's pregnant and you're the father."

Then, when asked if Britney Spears plans on keeping the baby, JR Rotem says, "No clue on what she will do. She is unpredicatable [sic]."

Of course, In Touch doesn't mention the fact that anyone can use any name for any telephone number as text messages are sent back and forth. But that's neither here nor there. Right now, we believe one person alone: Sam Lutfi.

They used to battle it out at the top of the pop charts. Now Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are singing a different - nude and pregnant - duel!

In the fall of 2006, a naked Britney Spears, pregnant with little Jayden James, posed for some ... well, interesting photos for Harper's Bizarre. Er, Bazaar.

Then, earlier this week, we were treated to hot photos of a knocked up Christina Aguilera nude, turning Marie Claire into Marie Bare. Okay, sorry for the bad puns.

So she's not pregnant. Britney Spears is still insane, however.

The latest puzzling antics from the alleged singer? Shortly before 1 a.m. on November 18, Spears entered the X-rated Hustler Store in W. Hollywood.

There, she loaded up on naughty skivvies and headed to the fitting rooms. But store employees "told [Britney Spears] they don't allow people to try on underwear," a source at the scene says. "She was really upset."

The source adds: "She looked out of it. There was nothing going on behind her eyes." Which distinguishes this from any other day ... not at all!

Then, the kinky sex fiend threw a fit, took off her pants and underwear as she tried on a pair of boyshorts (with "Barely Legal" stitched across the rear end) in the middle of the store while 15 other shocked customers looked on.

An eyewitness tells Us Weekly that the scene Britney caused was ridiculous: "The employees kept saying 'Don't change out here!' She's just like, 'Well, I couldn't take them in the fitting room' ... It was like dealing with a child."

Britney Spears' tantrum only worsened.

"The staff told her she had to pay, and she rolled her eyes, but paid with a credit card," the source says. "As payback, on her way out, she went up to a mannequin, snatched the wig off the head, and stole it!"

So, to sum up, Britney Spears took off her pants and underwear in an X-Rated sex shop, then got pissed when the staff told her she was out of line, then shoplifted from it. We await a Sam Lutfi text message commenting on the matter.

Britney Spears' ex-producer and greasy former beau, J.R. Rotem, has issued a statement denying In Touch Weekly's new cover story that claims Spears is pregnant and Rotem is the father of what would the singer's third child.

We hope you're sitting down. This J.R. Rotem statement is a whopper:

"There is absolutely no truth to this."

Rumors that Britney Spears is pregnant surfaced yesterday, setting the celebrity gossip world on fire. But they were refuted by the end of the day, when her pal, Sam Lutfi, sent a text to Ryan Seacrest, calling the story "completely fake."

"BS. Don't know who made it up," Sam Lutfi texted Seacrest regarding the story about a pregnant Britney. "J.R. doesn't even know what's up. It's fake. Completely fake."

Alright, now that the pregnancy issue is settled for good, we can all go back to talking about how insane Britney Spears is, how she abhors the concept of underwear, how Sean Preston and Jayden James are scarred for life, and so on.

Rumors of a pregnant Britney Spears have been setting the celebrity gossip world ablaze. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it now appears they're bogus.

In a text message to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show in Los Angeles Wednesday, Britney's friend, Sam Lutfi, debunked In Touch Weekly's cover story that declares Spears is expecting another baby - with her ex, J.R. Rotem.

"It's BS," Sam said. "Don't know who made it up. J.R. doesn't even know what's up."

The wisdom of Sam Lutfi continued in his text message, and revealed all: "It's fake. Completely fake. Just wrapped her music video. Going home to sleep."

Britney Spears: Not pregnant via J.R. Rotem after all.

Well, that officially settles that. If one can't trust a text message straight from Sam Lutfi, what can one believe in this crazy world?

We were skeptical about the alleged pregnancy from the start, but what's crazy is how certain the magazine that reported this celebrity rumor was in doing so.

On its new cover (see below), In Touch featured a Britney Spears photo under the headline: "Yes, She's Pregnant!" The story quoted J.R. Rotem saying, "It's true."

Also today, we ran a separate story about Britney Spears' kinky sex lair. Amazing how quickly certain celebrity gossip pales in comparison to pregnancy rumors.

Just as we finished talking about her love for kinky sex and the pregnancy rumors surrounding her, In Touch Weekly is reporting that Britney Spears is pregnant - and the father is none other than quote-unquote music producer J.R. Rotem.

Take a deep breath, people.

On November 14, In Touch claims, Britney Spears confided to her friends in e-mails that she is four weeks pregnant - and that she was sure the father was J.R. Rotem who she's been seeing on and off since she separated from K-Fed.

When asked about the rumors that Britney Spears is pregnant, J.R. Rotem confirmed to In Touch that the singer is, in fact, carrying his love child.

"It's true," J.R. Rotem says.

Well, there you have it.

On November 16, Britney Spears proudly e-mailed a copy of the ultrasound to her inner circle. For all her recent troubles, she seems convinced that a sibling for Sean Preston and Jayden James will turn her life around.

Spears also believes J.R. Rotem will turn out to be a great father, despite the fact that he talked openly and graphically about their sex life - specifically, his riding that ass wheelbarrow style - to Blender magazine earlier this year.

"Britney's not looking for another husband," a source close to the train wreck pop star says. "But she does like having a man in her life."

If Britney Spears is pregnant, it's really, really hard to see J.R. Rotem being a good father. But we sure hope it's true and can't wait to watch the debacle unfold.

We all knew Britney Spears was into self-destruction, image-wise. Well, a recent report suggests that the train wreck likes taking beatings in the bedroom as well.

At least that's what Star magazine is claiming. That reputable celebrity gossip source reports that Britney's new mansion has a "Fantasy Room" loaded with "ticklers, whips and fur-trimmed handcuffs," as well as spanking paddles and a mirrored ceiling so she can watch her wild, crazy self go to town on dudes.

There's also a rack of costumes Britney Spears likes to don when she does the nasty - schoolgirl, maid, and Cinderella, you name it. Man, that's hot ... sorta.

Watch out, Michael Marchand et al., Britney Spears is into pain!

A Star source also contends that Britney is so obsessed with Marilyn Monroe that she wants her nose redone to look like the self-destructive blond icon.

Oh, and it also claims Britney Spears is pregnant again. Hmm. Could Michael Marchand have enjoyed himself a little too much in the singer's sex lair?

In claiming Britney Spears is pregnant, Star quotes Britney Spears herself:

"Yes, I am pregnant and I am shocked? it is almost four weeks to be exact," says none other than Britney Spears, or someone claiming to be Britney, on her own MySpace page, according to Star. "I don't really know if I'm happy or sad I'm just ... idk ... I am happy I guess. I saw the ultrasound and it was really kewl!"

Well, alright then.

Star also reports that Britney Spears' house often features baby and dog feces on her white couches, and apparently the sex gear is sometimes left out in the living room, in full view of cute little mistakes Sean Preston and Jayden James.

We have to give the celebrity gossip tabloids credit on this story. Even if they are just making this stuff up out of nowhere, at least they're getting creative.

As we reported earlier this month, Britney Spears finally had a sudden growth of brain cells and hired a driver to help shoulder the load behind the wheel.

Which is great, as the court says she can't drive with Sean Preston and Jayden James in the car, and she sucks at it to boot. Well, it was good while it lasted - mere days later, T.H. Gossip has learned that the driver is already history.

The chauffeur/driver Britney Spears hired to drive her, the young children and the famed court monitor around town is resigning his post. The reason:

"Driving for Britney Spears is a liability." Who would've guessed.

A source close to Spears said that the driver and a monitor both had very close calls with paparazzi and other vehicles while driving Spears around.

A close call? Quiet down, you losers. She normally drives through red lights - or with no license, or into other cars, or over the feet of unsuspecting celebrity news reporters! A close call? That's nothing. Call us when you hit someone.

Lawyers for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline faced off and hammered out a holiday visitation schedule for their kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Currently, Spears only has twice-weekly access to her sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, including an overnight visit. No details of the visitation schedule for the upcoming holidays have been revealed to the celebrity news media.

During Thanksgiving Day, Britney Spears took Sean and Jayden to the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills for a brunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

The alleged singer dropped the mistakes off at FedEx's home later that afternoon. She then went shopping with Sam Lutfi, naturally. What else is a girl to do.

Also at issue in the courtroom Monday was the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services' request for access to the former couple's case file - in particular documents, which have been redacted.

A lawyer for the county was present, and requested that media be removed before he addressed the court. Neither Spears nor K-Fed was present.

Lawyers Anne Kiley and Mark Vincent Kaplan ran the show in their absence. The couple's next scheduled hearing is set for January 23.

Attorneys for both Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were back in court on Monday morning, as the couple's high-profile custody battle rages on.

Among the items expected to be discussed include the custody arrangement for the upcoming holidays, verification that both parents have completed court-ordered parenting courses - and the results of Brit's drug tests.

However, the most significant development of the day may come when Britney Spears' court-appointed monitor, Dr. Jane Schatz (seen ducking for cover in a classic celebrity photo) submits her report on Britney Spears' parenting.

While Dr. Jane Schatz has already provided attorneys a copy of her report, this will be the first time it is presented to the court commissioner.

Other matters expected to be addressed include Britney's driving, including the use of the video of her running the red light, as well as the presence of Shane Partridge, the celebrity news reporter who captured the incident.

While the custody battle is set to begin in downtown L.A., there has already been a separate hearing in Van Nuys, Calif., regarding Spears' noted knack for driving with no license, stemming from her August hit and run case.

A judge has agreed to postpone the proceedings on that case until January 2 so the attorneys can further negotiate. Spears' lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan, said he feels the system is treating Britney too harshly by seeking 24 months' probation.

"No misdemeanor violation is satisfying to me," Flanagan said, adding that in 38 years he's never seen a court seek to punish someone so harshly for this.

Deputy Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Amerian reportedly offered Britney Spears a plea deal of 12 months, but Flanagan wants no probation at all.
