Britney Spears spent a brief Mexican holiday with her paparazzi "friend," but now appears to have returned, as TMZ claims to have seen Brit's boy toy Adnan Ghalib leave her house in Beverly Hills in some gold Mercedes.

Ghalib's own photo agency, Finalpixx, has been documenting the strange pair's Mexican activities - one picture shows Ghalib hand-feeding whipped cream from a Starbucks cup to the pink-wigged Spears - and posting updates.

"Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib are happily dating," the agency says in a post. The agency notes that Ghalib is married, as we have reported, "but has been separated from his wife for over a year."

The bizarre couple has been together for much of the last week. Here is what Adnan's employer has to say about his relationship with the singer, with whom he recently escaped to Mexico for some rest and relaxation ...

"After being released from the hospital, Britney and Adnan spent the night and the following days together resting, eating, sleeping, shopping and talking about life and the love they have for their families. [Adnan Ghalib] himself has not spoken publicly because it would not be of benefit to her for him to do so. Should he choose to speak about Britney Spears, he only has positive things to say about her and the time that they have spent together."

As for other paparazzi chasing after them, "Despite such heavy scrutiny, the pair are enjoying a healthy, normal relationship," Finalpixx says.

While at the Rosarito Beach Hotel in Mexico, Spears stopped in a gift shop and purchased an imitation Gucci bag and another bag while Adnan Ghalib bought a rosary, spending a total of $60, Frontera reports.

"Britney looked serious and haggard," a sales clerk told the paper in Spanish. "She didn't have makeup on."

Less than a week ago, she was in a hospital for a mental meltdown.

Now she's in Baja with her married, celebrity photographer boy toy.

So it goes for Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib.

Britney's bizarre antics of the past two weeks - even more absurd than usual - have people wondering just who the hell this Adnan character is.

Well, the 35-year-old, married celebrity gossip photographer is clearly up to something. Reports say he is trying to sell nude Britney Spears pics, only no one's biting. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free.

Then, there was an elaborate ruse that had us thinking Britney and Adnan flew to New York on a private jet, when they instead turned up in Mexico.

Now a supposed former lover of Adnan Ghalib, Nichole Grimes, is warning the troubled Spears that Adnan is a "ladies' man" and isn't to be trusted.

Despite rumors that they flew to New York, Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib have turned up in... Baja! Rosarito Beach, Mexico, to be exact...

Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib were spotted in Rosarito, about 20 miles south of the U.S.-Mexico border and three hours from her home in Beverly Hills.

Having set up their elaborate ruse and totally fooling celebrity gossip sites like us by planting the story of a bogus Big Apple trip, the two were seen shopping there late yesterday and cruising around in Britney's Cadillac Escalade.

Wow. Just when you think you've seen it all from Brit. Here's hoping the U.S. Border Patrol really steps up and denies Adnan Ghalib re-entry into the States. Illegal immigration is a big issue in an election year, remember!

Heck, maybe they should just stay put and get married down there. We already know from this past Halloween that Britney Spears would fit right in ...

UPDATE: Perez Hilton reports that Spears and Ghalib arrived at the Rosarito Beach Hotel around 3 p.m. Wednesday. After doing some shopping, they checked into a junior suite ($235 / night), but checked out the same evening around 9:50 p.m. Where they went after that is anyone's guess. Stay tuned ...

Britney Spears has hopped a private jet to New York with Adnan Ghalib.

Spears left Van Nuys (Calif.) Airport at 4:00 PM PST yesterday afternoon. TMZ reports that only Britney, Adnan and one other male passenger were on the plane.

What the heck are Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib up to now?

The plane was due to land in Teterboro Airport in Northern New Jersey.

Where Adnan and Britney went from there remains unknown at this time.

Reports are circulating that Britney skipped town because she got wind of a planned intervention by members of her family later this week.

As we discussed, Britney has refused help for her mental and emotional dysfunction, despite the efforts of Jamie Spears to get her committed.

UPDATE: In what appears to be an elaborate hoax, Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib were not headed to New York, but Mexico! They have turned up South of the Border as of 9:45 EST. TMZ has some video of them there.

Long before Adnan Ghalib was shopping nude Britney Spears pics, there was another sketchy terrorist dude in her day-to-day life: Mr. Sam Lutfi.

For months leading up to Britney's recent meltdown, she and Lutfi were inseparable. Well, it turns out Spears' parents, Lynne and Jamie, believe Sam was a prime reason Brit has refused to seek mental help all along.

They were so mad at Sam Lutfi they threw him out of the hospital last week when he arrived to visit Britney, who had been taken there via ambulance.

Britney's parents - especially Jamie Spears - have been trying for months to get her committed into a mental hospital for a bipolar disorder.

Britney's father in particular has believed since last summer that Britney was suffering from a mental disease - not substance abuse as many claim.

Jamie believed Sam Lutfi was impeding Brit's ability to get help. He praised her former manager, Larry Rudolph, for trying to get her help earlier in the year. Britney fired Rudolph, of course, before he could succeed.

Jamie Spears has been looking for a way to push her into a facility but she has refused. TMZ reports that Britney continues to refuse to undergo a battery of tests that would officially diagnose her with bipolar disorder.

Finalpixx, the photo agency that employs Adnan Ghalib, Britney Spears' bizarre paparazzi beau, denies it shopping around any Britney Spears nude pictures.

But TMZ reports that they sure as hell are. Seriously, there are some pants on fire here! Appropriate, since few people hate pants more than Britney Spears.

Apparently the semi-nude Britney Spars photos have been shopped around to various weekly celebrity gossip publications. One source says a major U.S. weekly was pitched the photos this week, but elected to pass.

Another magazine source tells TMZ that Adnan Ghalib's pics were pitched to them for five figures, but they passed since "the photos weren't any good."

Who can forget this 2006 shot of Britney Spears' crotch. Photos of Britney Spears naked in full? Those we've yet to see. Adnan Ghalib may change that.

Earlier this week, we read reports that Adnan Ghalib was shopping photos of Britney Spears, naked or close to it. But we also heard his pics suck.

We are not sure whether these pics include the strange shots of Adnan and Britney - with no pants, as usual - sucking on lollipops in Santa Barbara.

Now X17 is reporting that the only takers are an Australian magazine - and that they've paid a paltry $57,000. So weak! Heck, our interns make that much.

As the whole world watched, Britney Spears locked herself in her home with her youngest child, Jayden James, leaving even the most ardent fan doubting her sanity and ability to raise JJ and his older brother, Sean Preston.

But only a few weeks earlier, it was a very different Britney that sat for an interview and photos with her adorable little mistakes as photographer Dani Brubaker snapped pics for the upcoming issue of celebrity gossip magazine, OK!

OK! loves the Spears family almost as much as Us Weekly.

"She was very loving," photographer Brubaker said. "She told me she loved her children and that they are her life."

Far from being the neglectful parent some portray her as, the photographer tells OK! that Britney was "very attentive" to the needs of her sons.

NOTE: We really wonder how much Lynne Spears got paid for this story.

As for the 26-year-old singer's reaction to the cute photos of her with her sons, Brubaker reveals a reaction of a loving, possibly crazy mom.

"I'm told that when she saw the photographs, she literally cried for over an hour and stared at them all night long," she said. Literally.

NOTE: That could've just been the alcohol and pills, of course.

Regardless, the troubled singer is "inconsolable" right now as the chance of her winning the custody battle for her children looks bleak.

"Those boys are her everything, and she's said repeatedly that life isn't worth living if she can't have her babies with her," says a friend.

The friend adds that Britney Spears would say goodbye to the music business (wait, that didn't happen in 2003?) just to look after her boys.

"The only reason she's doing this is because she wants them to look up to her onstage and be like, ‘That's my mama,' and be proud of her."

"She'd put her life before them and would die for Jayden James and Preston. They're her whole world. "Britney has always said, ‘I would die for my boys if that's what it took to prove I loved them. I'd do anything for them.'"

You heard her, fans. Britney would do anything.

Even humiliating herself by parading around in no underwear, running red lights with them in the back seat, dumping them on nannies to go party, and holding them hostage during a three-hour standoff at her mansion. Anything.

The LAPD slapped Britney Spears with a temporary restraining order last Thursday during her custody standoff, celebrity news sources report.

Called an "emergency protective order," it is enforced for five business days. LAPD officers took this step to "stabilize the situation," Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, confirmed to People.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, who did not request the restraining order, declined to say whether he would seek to extend it beyond five days.

"Kevin doesn't want to keep his kids from being involved in [Spears'] life. But foremost is that the children be in an environment of structure [and] stability," he said. "The next goal in this process is to get things to a point where both parents are able to participate fully in their [children's] lives."

Spears, 26, was stripped of all custody and visitation rights with Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, pending her next hearing January 14.

Meanwhile, her family is now blasting Dr. Phil McGraw for "breaching their trust and misleading the public" in speaking out about his visit with her.

"He was not invited to make this a public display," Lou Taylor, spokesman for Brit's mom, Lynne Spears, said on Today this morning.

Taylor denied Dr. Phil's claims that Britney's parents planned to appear on his talk show following her stint in L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last week, calling McGraw's plans to do a show on Britney "self-serving."

The day he visited Britney in the hospital �" Dr. Phil claimed Lynne called him to come intervene �" he released a statement saying Britney Spears that was "in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention" and that he planned to address her mental situation on an upcoming episode of Dr. Phil Now.

Of media criticism surrounding his association with Spears, Phil fired back in a statement released Monday, saying "they want to criticize me for trying to help her? Get real. She needs less publicity, not more!"

Regardless, the increasingly insane Britney has put her family in a tough spot. "She needs to be on suicide watch," her aunt, Chanda McGovern, said.

Denying recent reports, Alli Sims, Britney Spears' possible cousin and former assistant, says her reality show (!?) has not been canned and her trip to New York over the weekend - which saw an insane Britney Spears hospitalized in L.A. - was not an affront to her relationship with the alleged singer.

"While Britney was being hospitalized in L.A., Alli Sims, her supposed best friend, was self-promoting in N.Y.C.," an "insider" told Life & Style.

Alli Sims says these claims are ridiculous.

"These claims are ridiculous," Sims told Us Weekly.

"I had plans for a girls weekend, and my friends had already flown to town to meet up with me. Yes, I continued with my plans that included going to dinner and a club. How was I to predict what would happen when I was gone?"

Alli Sims (pictured above with Brit) continued: "As far as having a falling out with anyone, that is simply not true. I love Britney Spears, and care way more about her well-being than any of these strangers making these claims."

Sims' proposed reality TV show has not been scrapped, as the report claimed, because it's still in the discussion stage. Sims asks, "How can it be pulled when it was never beyond discussion and experimental stages?"

On Friday, it was falsely (and humorously) reported that Alli Sims was not only with her cousin, but had broken down a door to reach Britney and stop her from hurting Jayden James before the singer was taken to Cedars-Sinai.

"Even if I was there I would not have banged down the door with a hammer, that's not my style," she said. "I would have knocked."

The photographer who gave Spears a lift home after she abandoned her car on the road with a flat tire Monday has detailed their brief ride together, saying the struggling pop star spent most of the ride sending text messages.

"She broke out her cell phone and was sending text messages the entire time," said the man, who works for celebrity photo / news agency X17.

He also says the singer put on Timbaland's hit album "Shock Value," but got awfully quiet when asked about spending time with Adnan Ghalib.

Britney also invited the photographer inside once they reached her house.

Britney Spears and her assistant, Carla, go cruisin' in Carla's Camry.

At one point during the ride, the photographer snapped his fingers and said to Britney Spears: "Hey, girl, are you alright?" then told her not to worry. Spears' reaction? She laughed, according to the dude's account.

Inside her (reportedly immaculately clean) home, she told the man "don't be lame" when he asked permission to snap some Britney Spears photos.

Later Monday night, Spears and her assistant, Carla, ventured back out in Carla's ride and had dinner in a room at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Then they stayed the night at the nearby Peninsula Hotel.
