Less than 24 hours after a warrant for his arrest was issued, Adnan Ghalib has turned himself. Charged with three felonies, he went to court and pled not guilty.

Ghalib allegedly struck a process server - who was attempting to hand him a subpoena to appear in the Britney Spears restraining order case - with his Mercedes.

The L.A. County D.A. has charged Ghalib with felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony battery and felony hit and run. He is free after posting $110,000 bail.

Lawyers for Britney Spears went to L.A. Superior Court January 20 to get temporary restraining orders against Ghalib and her former manager, Sam Lutfi.

Jamie Spears, who serves as his daughter's conservator, says Lutfi and Ghalib were sending threatening text messages and trying to take control of Britney.

There was also a prepaid phone one of the two is said to have given her. Papa Jamie went ballistic when he overheard Britney communicating with Adnan.

Earlier this month, the LAPD confirmed that a report was filed on Ghalib alleging he committed assault with a deadly weapon - his Mercedes - February 11.

Adnan Ghalib, celebrity gossip photographer and now-infamous ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears, has been charged with three felonies for allegedly smashing his car into a process server who tried to subpoena him earlier this month.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The L.A. County District Attorney has charged Adnan Ghalib with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and hit and run - all three are felony offenses.

Ghalib allegedly hit a man with his car in an alley on February 11. The man was reportedly trying to serve Adnan with legal papers on behalf of Britney Spears - presumably in the case involving her father and his conservatorship.

Earlier this week, Jamie Spears testified that Adnan had been talking to Britney on a pre-paid cellphone in violation of the restraining order against him.

One law enforcement source says Adnan Ghalib allegedly hit the dude, who landed on the hood, then continued driving. The server proceeded to jump onto the hood of Ghalib's Mercedes to avoid being pinned against a trash truck.

Cops and paramedics were called.

The victim apparently broke his wrist and suffered cuts and bruises. Prosecutors are asking for bail of $110,000, and if convicted, Ghalib could get seven years in prison.

He has yet to be taken into custody. Stay tuned ...

A hearing yesterday afternoon in the Britney Spears restraining order case against Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib revealed some interesting information.

Jamie Spears, father of the singer, took the stand to explain that at some point recently, Britney somehow got her hands on a pre-paid cell phone.

This caused Jamie fits because as her conservator, he has been strictly monitoring the phones she's able to use and the calls she's making.

The family nanny overheard Britney talking to Adnan Ghalib on a pre-paid phone in the wee hours of the morning one day recently, however.

It appears Jamie Spears believes Sam and/or Adnan got her the phone in an attempt to turn her against Jamie and sabotage the conservatorship.

Jamie was named the conservator of Britney's financial, personal and medical affairs last year after a disastrous stretch that saw her life spiral out of control.

Adnan and Sam played roles in that, to put it mildly.

If Sam Lutfi did have any contact with Britney, as is alleged, he would have violated a court order to stay the hell away from the recovering pop star. He would likely face serious legal consequences if found to be in violation.

The creepy Sam Lutfi is now fighting back against Britney Spears' permanent restraining order against him, saying he never threatened her in any way.

Spears was granted a temporary restraining order last month claiming that her former confidant and manager threatened to expose family secrets.

Brit's camp says Sam's "secrets" have no basis in reality.

This follows the earlier claims of Brit's mom, Lynne Spears, that Sam was mentally abusive and even tried to drug the reeling pop star at one point.

Sam Lutfi is retaliating in legal papers, stating unequivocally that "I have not, in any alleged communications with Britney Spears, her hairdresser or any other person, threatened any act of violence against Britney or her family."

This is a confusing statement, as Britney never accused Sam of threatening violence. Then again, few things Lutfi does make any sense.

Lutfi says he got anonymous text messages saying Jamie Spears, Britney's father and conservator of her legal, financial and medical affairs, was about to release a letter written by the singer "making serious accusations" against him.

Sam - who has already filed one lawsuit against Britney this month, says that he merely called Jamie to discuss the letter. The Spears clan didn't see it that way, especially since Lufti was supposed to cease any and all contact with her.

Meanwhile, an L.A. judge just extended the restraining order against Sam, Adnan Ghalib and Jon Eardley until Wednesday, so Jamie Spears may testify.

Upstanding citizen and doting parent that he is, Kevin Federline says he's going to allow Britney Spears to take their kids on her upcoming concert tour.

On his way out of a business meeting with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony - the group rumored to be resurrecting his rap career - yesterday afternoon, K-Fed told celebrity gossip photographers he'll "be there" when Brit embarks in March.

He said: "I'm gonna take the kids on the road ... they need to see their mother, right?"

Man, what a humanitarian K-Fed is. Surely the $5,000 per week he will be banking as part of this concert arrangement doesn't play into it whatsoever.

That's actually a very interesting comment he made, as K-Fed is making it sound as if he alone calls the custody shots and is "letting" her see the kids.

In reality, the couple's custody agreement says Britney Spears gets the kids three days and nights a week. Federleezy readily agreed to this sharing of the kids when her attorneys first proposed it as Brit showed signs of recovery.

The Circus tour schedule was a bit of a special case, as it requires a lot of traveling for both Britney and Sean Preston and Jayden James - but the FedEx man is not purely altruistic as he would apparently like peeps to believe.

She first rose to prominence 10 years ago as a sexy schoolgirl.

Now, in her latest video - for "If U Seek Amy," the third single from her Circus album - Britney Spears assumes a new sexpot persona, that of a '50s housewife.

Decked out in a blond wig, tight pink top and white skirt, Spears reportedly spent Tuesday shooting the video for her next single in Pacific Palisades, California.

"The video begins with Britney Spears coming outside her house to hand the paparazzi an apple pie that she just baked," a source told MTV.

"She acts like she wants to hook up. The whole video is very provocative."

The video should be out in time for the start of Britney's big Circus tour, which from what we've heard and seen, promises to be a very sexy sideshow.

The new video features two "perfectly groomed" kids and a husband character, both strait-laced, and has dancers "dressed in skimpy outfits in metallic colors."

"She was like the old Britney at the shoot," a source close to the star reports. "She was engaged and excited the whole day and seemed like her old self."

With a title like "If U Seek Amy," how can she not be feeling a bit like the faux-virginal, enigmatic tease of the late '90s and early 2000s. Ah, the old days.

According to Heat magazine, the celebrity gossip photographer insists he and the singer, who were inseparable at the beginning of 2008, are still in a relationship ... despite several restraining orders she's filed against him.

Adnan's romance with Britney was curtailed when Britney's dad Jamie became her co-conservator - gaining control of her money and affairs - in February of '08.

In that same month, Adnan was given his first temporary order requiring him to stay at least 250 yards away from Britney Spears - who was hospitalized at the time at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for observation.

Adnan abided by that until July when the order expired. However, this month Britney gained new restraining orders against Adnan and her shady former manager, Sam Lutfi, which accused them both of trying to "disrupt" the conservatorship.

In conclusion, the quote above is either made up or Adnan is just grasping at straws trying to remain in the celebrity gossip limelight these days.
