Bridget Moynahan is reportedly furious with Gisele Bundchen after the supermodel boasted about her new role as stepmother to the actress' son.

The Brazilian beauty married Tom Brady in February. They have been together since he split from longtime ex-girlfriend Moynahan back in 2006.

Moynahan announced that she was pregnant with Tom's child, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, now 17 months, just weeks after the two split.

Bundchen recently gushed in Vanity Fair that she has a great relationship with the boy, even claiming she felt as if he was "100 percent" her child.

Gisele probably only meant that in the sense that she is wholly committed to her role as a stepmother to John, but the model's comments were not received favorably by Moynahan, according to a report in the New York Post.

A pal of Bridget Moynahan's said "If Gisele loved Bridget's child like he was '100 percent her own,' then she would not talk about him in the press."

"Don't you think Jack will grow up and read her comments and find them disrespectful to him and his mother? If Tom Brady is such a great father as everyone likes to say, then you would think that he'd respect the privacy of his young child and would ask his wife not to use his son as a publicity prop and a subject of public discussion?"

"Is she really so desperate for attention that she can't find anything more productive to talk about other than Bridget's child?"

Zinnnng. Your move, Gisele.

For Bridget Moynahan, bringing a newborn son home alone was "frightening" â€" and far from a dream - she revealed in a recent interview.

"I'm not sure anyone - and I could be wrong in this - grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom," Moynahan said.

Shortly after the end of her three-year relationship with NFL quarterback Tom Brady - who went on to see Gisele Bundchen naked almost immediately - Moynahan announced her pregnancy with Brady's child.

Bridget Moynahan is enjoying life as a single mom ... albeit after being heartbroken at the prospect of going it alone, sans Tom Brady.

"When you're suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you're in your 30s, it's a hard conversation. I'm a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage. I just thought that's the way I'd be doing this," she says. "For a time, it was hard to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family."

She gave birth to John Edward Thomas Moynahan last August.

Bridget Moynahan, the ex-girlfriend / baby-mama of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, recently made a special guest appearance ... on YouTube!

The 36-year-old actress is seen with her friend and birth partner, actor and former Star Search champ Sam Harris, on his Web site, SamHarris.com.

Harris, who apparently helped Bridget Moynahan give birth to her first child, tells the camera, as part of his regular "Friend Friday" series:

"I wiped amniotic fluid from between [Bridget's] legs. It was the most amazing experience ever, ever. You were pretty incredible."

The actress replies, "So were you."

Well, okay then. Here's the video.

"Little John, he's perfection," Harris added, in reference to her baby son John Edward Thomas Moynahan. Bridget clarifies, "He's not so little."

Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady broke up shortly before she announced her pregnancy. The actress gave birth to baby John last August.

When Harris asks, "What was the most difficult thing about the pregnancy?" Bridget laughs and responds, "What was the most difficult thing about the pregnancy? You know the most difficult thing about the pregnancy!"

Responds Harris: "Bad question."

No word on how Bridget, John and this random dude celebrated as Eli Manning and the Giants stunned New England and its stud QB in Super Bowl XLII.

Even if you aren't obsessed with Meredith and McDreamy, most people know at least a little about Grey's Anatomy, one of the biggest shows on TV.

Far fewer people know about Gray Matters, a romantic comedy about a brother, sister and the girl of both of their dreams. Heather Graham stars as Gray.

While we don't know much about this classic 2006 film aside from what we wrote in the previous sentence, there's some hot girl-on-girl action in it!

Meet the latest celebrity baby to grace the weekly celebrity gossip-mag cover. It's 5-week-old John Edward Thomas Moynahan, with mom Bridget Moynahan, 36.

The pair appear on the cover of OK! magazine, on newsstands Friday, with several more John Edward Thomas Moynahan photos featured inside the issue.

Bridget Moynahan split last December from her NFL beau and baby-daddy, Tom Brady, 30, but the Patriots quarterback was on hand when the actress gave birth in California August 22, and spent a few days with mother and son.

Tom Brady is now dating Brazilian supermodel (and Leonardo DiCaprio ex) Gisele Bundchen, who is 27. Moynahan declined to be interviewed, but OK! reports that she is facing single motherhood with an optimistic outlook.

Although she has a development deal in the works with ABC, the actress plans to put her career on hold. It's okay. When you have a baby, you should be allowed to actually spend time with it. Poor Sean Preston and Jayden James.

While Bridget and John were out for a stroll, John's dad, Tom Brady, and Tom's girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen, hightailed it out of New York City.

Why? The New England Patriots quarterback was en route to Massachusetts, of course, where he began practice with his pro football team.

After practice, the media was forbidden to talk to Tom Brady about his son with Moynahan. The hunky signal-caller told reporters, "It's a wonderful thing, as I'm sure all the parents out there know already ... but I'm here to talk football."

Tom Brady was mostly missing during Bridget Moynahan's pregnancy with their child (born August 22) - a fact that's reflected in the little guy's name!

The actress, 36, decided not to include her ex's surname - which would've name a great middle name, as it sounds semi-normal - when naming her son.

A rep for the actress has released a statement officially announcing the child's name as John Edward Thomas Moynahan. Ouch, Tom! That hurts.

Someone should have told tell this to the New England Patriots, who, during their game against the Carolina Panthers on August 24, congratulated the 30-year-old quarterback as an announcer told the crowd in Charlotte, N.C., that the boy was named Jonathan Brady.

Despite the obvious baby mama drama, Bridget Moynahan insists all is well.

"She is thankful for a healthy baby and is excited about being a mother," said Moynahan's rep in a statement, who adds that the actress "was very pleased that the father, Tom Brady, was able to be there for the birth."

As for him going back to his Brazilian goddess of a girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen, shortly thereafter, Bridget probably wasn't too thrilled. At least Gisele won't be getting even more exposure on Dancing with the Stars or anything. Oh, wait.

There's another illegitimate, NFL celebrity baby ready to give you a run for your (cute) money.

Actress Bridget Moynahan finally gave birth to her baby boy Wednesday in Los Angeles. A rep for the actress reports that "both mother and baby are doing well."

No word on the little guy's name, weight or whether he can evade a weak-side blitz.

The baby's father, of course, is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who Moynahan dated for three years prior to breaking up in late 2006.

Since the breakup, Brady has been seeing supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Though it's unclear whether Brady, 30, was present at the birth, he was not at Patriots practice today, and was spotted at an L.A. hospital, carrying flowers. Aww.

In a recent interview with the AP, Tom Brady said he hoped he'd be able to take time off for the birth, though he suspected his schedule and coach might nix that.

"I wish I [knew when the baby will be born]," he told reporters. "That's God's decision. The good lord is making that call. So I think everybody's anxious. I'll put it that way."

Six Degrees star Bridget Moynahan, 36, announced she was pregnant back in February, allegedly surprising her three-time Super Bowl champion ex.

A friend of Tom Brady said at the time: "He's disappointed this is how she's decided to play it. She announced it to make him look like a jerk."

Meanwhile, his official statement read, "Tom and his family are excited about the pregnancy, and want to thank everyone who has shown support."

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is looking to call a time out ... and not because of the team's preseason offensive struggles.

No, he's seeking time away from the team as he awaits the birth of his first child with his former girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

Will he get it?

"I hope so," Brady said Monday, noting that he'll need the approval of coach Bill Belichick in the face of the Patriots' very busy schedule.

"Bill has a lot to say, so we'll deal with it when it happens."

On Friday, Brady is due to play Carolina in the third of four boring exhibition games, with the Pats' first regular season game on September 9 against the N.Y. Jets.

According to People, Brady declined to answer when asked if Moynahan will deliver the child before the Jets game. This may be because Tom Brady is not God.

But the Super Bowl-winning signal caller, who is now dating Gisele Bündchen, says he is eagerly awaiting the call in which he learns he's officially a dad.

"I think everybody's anxious," Tom Brady said, smiling. "I'll put it that way."

When asked if he jumps every time the phone rings, he added, "It's stuff that's very private and it's my family... it won't be hard to figure out when it happens."

As for asking for time off, he said: "Certainly, a lot of people make sacrifices for family, and I'm dealing with a certain situation, a very joyous, happy situation. Some people have dealt with death in the past, and that's incredibly difficult."

Chimed in Belichick: "Personal situations are all talked about and dealt with on an individual basis. It doesn't matter who the player is. There are plenty that have come up through the course of the year. I'll deal with them like I do all of them."

No word on whether Alex Rodriguez has asked for time away from the New York Yankees so that he may hit up strip joints with Joslyn Noel Morse.
