The countdown is on, THGers. It is so very on.

It's late in the year, which means we are revealing the finalists for, and eventually the winner of, our site's prestigious, arbitrary, 7th Annual Celebrity of the Year honor.

Kate Upton heated everything up at #10, Walter White cooked his way into our hearts at #9 and Jennifer Lawrence stole them at #8. Now, our seventh finalist ...

Christian Grey!

Jamie Dornan: Christian Grey

We thought about giving this slot to Jamie Dornan, who will bring Christian Grey to life in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation of EL James' books.

It was Christian who left more of a mark on 2013 than Dornan, however. In fact, the actor who will actually play him on screen was only recently revealed.

He wasn't even the first person announced as the lead character. That was Charlie Hunnam, who went on to bail on the sexy project for unspecified reasons.

Prior to the casting of Hunnam and the re-casting of the role with Dornan, never has there been more speculation, debate and opinion over a movie character.

Ned Vizzini, who scored a big hit with It’s Kind of a Funny Story, a young adult novel about depression, has died in an apparent suicide at the age of 32.

He jumped off the roof of his parents’ Brooklyn home on Thursday, the AP reports.

Vizzini had struggled with mental illness all his life, his brother Daniel Vizzini said.

It’s Kind of a Funny Story is based on his time in a Brooklyn psychiatric ward as a teen. It was later made into a film starring Zach Galifianakis and Keir Gilchrist.

Ned Vizzini traveled the country talking about mental health issues.

“At his signings, countless kids would approach him to say that he changed their lives - he gave them hope,” his longtime publisher, Alessandra Balzer, said.

The troubled Vizzini’s other books include Be More Chill and The Other Normals, both of which also told of young people who feel like outsiders.

He is survived by his wife and their two-year-old son. R.I.P.

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly met with a literary agency as part of negotiations to pen a tell-all book about, well, anything you could possibly imagine.

Heck, that could be an anthology.

Where would she even begin with such an endeavor? We have no idea, but we recommend the use of this animated GIF for the cover. So cutting-edge!

Lindsay Lohan Through the Years

Between her arrests, drug abuse, acting career, romances and dysfunctional family, her memoir could be epic if she told an unabridged, unfiltered version.

The book began, according to insiders, as a series of journal entries, which the actress wrote during her latest (seventh or eighth, by our count) trip to rehab.

It was a therapeutic exercise for a troubled celebrity more than anything, and as a result, the book is in its early stages and doesn't have a clear focus.

Lindsay Lohan "wants to open up every part of her life," however.

Fifty Shades Of Grey may be a guilty pleasure for most, but for one creator of fan fiction based on the hit novel, things are getting a whole lot heavier.

Fifty Shades of Sin is based on the volatile, abusive relationship between Rihanna and Chris Brown, which continues to make headlines to this day.

J. Lola penned her thinly veiled version of the two music superstars' story, and you can find it on Amazon, where it is being sold for the Kindle.

Lola describes Fifty Shades Of Sin as "the strange story of Robyn and Chris, and how they find love in," wait for it ... wait ... "a HOPELESS PLACE."

"From the moment they meet, their attraction is explosive. They fall hard for each other," she writes. "They crave each other every minute of the day.

"However, [Robyn and Chris] just can’t be together. This is a story about love, but it explores the difficulties, sacrifices, and pain that love brings as well."

If ever there were a case for buying books brand new instead of borrowing them from the library, this might be it.

Herpes was found on copies of Fifty Shades of Grey when two Belgian scientists decided to test the top 10 borrowed books from the Antwerp Library to see what sort of disgusting things they might find.

You guys.

They found HERPES. And cocaine. But...herpes!! ALL THE HAND SANITIZER!

While the scientists did say that they didn't find enough herpes on the books for a person to contract the virus, they did find enough cocaine for a person to fail a drug test.

What are people DOING with their library books?! Do we even want to know?

No, no we do don't.

Tori Spelling says that the sex tape she writes about in her new book Spelling It Like It Is is legit. However, she never thought this would become a story.

Sure thing, T.

Tori Spelling Book Cover

"I told the story in the book and I never in a million years thought that people would pull out, 'Oh my gosh, Tori Spelling made a sex tape!'" she told E!

"'Cause I don't even think of me that way. I don't think anyone would ever be like, 'Wanna see that!' I'm a mom of four! At night we're in bed by 9:00, watching TV."

Shockingly, the fact that a Tori Spelling sex tape exists was easily the biggest revelation from the book, whether people want to watch the thing or not.

But Spelling clarified that, while it made for great book fodder, she and husband Dean McDermott never wanted anyone to actually watch them bone.

Farrah Abraham has had an eventful week, between getting OWNED on Bethenny and her previously secret relationship with Brian Dawe going public.

Not surprisingly, she's trying to re-focus the media attention ... by talking about how she wants a new cover for her memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended.

Yes ... incredibly, Farrah had a book out long before she did porn.

Farrah Abraham Book

Farrah says she wants to update the cover because "Sofia is cute" now. Then again, she says Sofia should get a life, so take that with a boulder of salt.

Also, does that mean Sofia was not cute then? Just look at her?

Other theories for why she wants a new book cover include ...

Tori Spelling unloads on former friend Katie Holmes in her new memoir Spelling It Like It Is. It's not really clear why she chose to detail all this, but she has.

"Dawson's Creek Katie was exactly what you'd expect," Spelling wrote of meeting Holmes. "She was wearing jeans and a tank top. Her hair was down."

"She was shy but engaging, and altogether pretty adorable."

But a few years later, the Beverly Hills 90210 actress said she got the cold shoulder when they ran into each other at vocal coach Eric Vetro's studio.

"As I sat waiting outside, I heard his prior appointment working with him in the other room. It was some actress singing horribly off-key," Spelling explained.

"That made me feel better. I heard him say goodbye and then the actress walked out of the room," she recalls, and it was none other than Katie Holmes."

In his new memoir, Coreyography, Corey Feldman goes into great detail about the sexual abuse he suffered along with Corey Haim as young movie stars.

The book also describes years of drug abuse both he and Haim faced.

On the 1986 set of Lucas, Haim told Feldman that “an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys" to be subjected to this.

It was "what all the guys do," he recalls, "so they walked off to a secluded area between two trailers ... and [Corey Haim] allowed himself to be sodomized."

After relaying this to Feldman, Haim asked, “So, I guess we should play around like that, too?” Feldman dismissed him, saying, that's “not what kids do, man."

But Feldman went on to suffer a similar fate, specifically by a man named "Ron," whom his father hired as his assistant and who abused him while on drugs.

Rielle Hunter.

The mere mention of John Edwards' mistress elicits everything from eye-rolls to rage among the public. She is acknowledging this publicly, years later.

While hoping to move copies of her book, of course.

Rielle Hunter Book Cover

Rielle Hunter, who gave birth to John Edwards' love child Frances Quinn Hunter in between his '04 and '08 presidential bids, will go down in history.

As the woman he cheated on and tried to cover up his affair with while running for the highest office in the world, she is the poster woman for infidelity.

Her lack of remorse - especially given that John's now-deceased wife Elizabeth Edwards was fighting cancer - did not exactly help her approval ratings.

She's aware of this, at long last, claiming she "behaved badly" and was "selfish" among other things in the "revised" edition of her book, which includes the mea culpa:
