Jennifer Lopez was moved to tears in front of millions last night.

The American Idol judge became the first woman to win the Icon Awards at the Billboard Music Awards - and it didn't take long for Jenny from the Block to grow emotional during her acceptance speech.

"Have faith. Dream big. Think big. And know that anything is possible,” Lopez told young viewers. “You never know where you might end up."

Lopez also thanked her her fans, her family and boyfriend Casper Smart, telling the young dancer that she “loves” him.

Previous Icon Award winners have included Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder and Prince.

The Billboard Music Awards featured a performance by a Michael Jackson hologram Sunday, leaving fans stunned at how realistically the King of Pop's legacy lives.

Jackson, or the holographic incarnate of Jackson, performed "Slave to the Rhythm," a song from his new posthumous album Xscape. Watch in awe below:

Reminiscent of the Tupac hologram performance alongside Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre at Coachella in 2012, the King of Pop looked like he was right there.

One of the greatest entertainers ever digitally danced (moonwalk included) and sang onstage as if he never left us in 2009 after suffering cardiac arrest.

It was awesome, even if we were looking for it heading into the music extravaganza.

The surprise was spoiled late last week after a lawsuit surfaced claiming product infringement and briefly describing a Michael Jackson hologram performance.

Chin up, Kendall Jenner.

There was an even bigger trainwreck on stage last night at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.

Miley Cyrus was actually on a British stage when she performed "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," as the event aired her rendition alongside Wayne Coyne via satellite.

And it's hard to say what made the cover of this Beatles hit more atrocious: the costumes? The arrangement? The fact that it took place in The Beatles' home country?

Watch for yourself and shake your head over Miley now:

This will likely be included among the artist's most memorable performances.

Perhaps Kendall Jenner should spend less time flashing side boob in attention-grabbing Instagram selfies and more time learning how to read.

The 18-year old reality star took to the stage of the Billboard Music Awards last night, only to major flub her lines when attempting to introduce One Direction.

"I'm the worst reader," Jenner laughed and said after her very public stumble, as some boos clearly emanated from the audience in Las Vegas.

Watch the botched intro and make yourself uncomfortable now:

KJ blamed the debacle on her contact lenses, or lack thereof.

"Anndddd as if I wasn’t nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned," Jenner Tweeted after her mistake.

Between Kendall's snafu and the entire run of Khloe Kardashian as X Factor host, can we just axe the whole idea of Kardashians going on stage please?

Please. Just stick to what you're good at, ladies ...

A Michael Jackson hologram performed and Kendall Jenner sucks at reading.

Sure, Rihanna laughed at Ariana Grande during a recent performance, but that embarrassing incident aside, Ariana has been crushing it career-wise lately.

On that note, it was announced today that she'll be performing her hit song "Problem" along with Iggy Azalea at this year's Billboard Music Awards.

Ariana is a natural choice for the show, as "Problem" debuted at number one on Billboard's digital songs chart and is currently number three on the magazine's Hot 100.

The first single from Grande's forthcoming studio album has been such a success that even a teaser for the "Problem" video became a viral sensation online.

Ariana and Iggy join a list of previously announced performers that includes Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and Jason Derulo.

The 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards were held Thursday at Miami's BankUnited Center, and a familiar name was among the event's big winners:

Marc Anthony Wins

Marc Anthony took home the prize for Top Latin Albums Male Artist of the Year, as well as the award for Tropical Albums Artist of the Year, Soloist for 3.0.

Anthony showed off some of his salsa steps to the hit "Vivir Mi Vida," and then dedicated the award in memory of Cheo Feliciano, the late salsa pioneer.

The energy continued at the event when another popular Latin lover, Enrique Iglesias, took the stage to perform his new single "Bailando" live.

Wisin and Sean Paul added another highlight to the start of the awards by mixing reggaeton and dancehall music with their song "Baby Danger."

Accepting the Tropical Album of the Year award, Jennifer Lopez's ex said, "Thanks to my fans who every day make me feel like the man most… wow!"

Kid Rock said what was on a lot of people's minds last night when he took the stage and delivered a major diss at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.

Taking the mic from Tracy Morgan to present Top Rap Song honors, he told the audience to "Give it up for people lip-synching under pre-recorded music."

BURN! The barb came after performances from Selena Gomez, Icona Pop and Chris Brown, but it's unclear if he was calling anyone out specifically.

He was also holding what appeared to be a coffee cup. Hilarious.

Ah, Kid Rock. No matter what you think of his music, the man is an artiste. One with no tolerance for pansies getting up there and mouthing lyrics.

Of all the Billboard Music Awards fashion hits and misses, Madonna's was definitely tops in one of the two categories, depending on your point of view.

The Material Girl, 54, hit the stage in a pair of shades, fishnets, black underwear and apparently no pants as she accepted Top Touring Artist honors.

Guess when you end 2012 with the top-grossing tour - earning $305 million no less - and you don't want to wear pants, no one's gonna call you out.
