Basketball Wives' Evelyn Lozada and fiance Chad Ochocinco are finding it hard to nail down a wedding venue as Miami hotels are turning them down left and right.

Several establishments have rejected the couple's request to tie the knot at their facilities because they don't want glasses and fists flying ... you know the drill.

The reality TV couple is currently filming their Basketball Wives spin-off Ocho and Eve, with the big season finale set to feature Chad and Lozada's wedding.

Provided anyplace will allow them to film it, of course.

Miami's St. Regis, The Ritz, and Breakers have all turned the couple down so far, as hotel managers fear the fighting or risk of having their hotels seen on VH1.

Undeterred, the celebrity wedding is set to film next month as long as Ocho and Eve can actually find a place with which to say 'til reality TV death do us part.

In an ironic twist, Basketball Wives star Kenya Bell is being hit up for money by her former NBA player husband, as she now makes more money than him.

Former Michigan State star Charlie Bell feels he supported Kenya for years with his wages, but says it's his estranged spouse's turn to get his back now.

Charlie filed for divorce from Kenya months ago. She's raking it in on the VH1 show, and while he's still playing internationally, the money's not the same.

Despite having over $1 million in the bank, Charlie says Kenya's the one with the income - from Basketball Wives and her "music career" (see above).

It's her turn to lend him a helping hand, in other words, in the form of spousal support. Poor guy makes "only" $100,000 a season balling in Italy.

Hey, it seems like a pittance compared to your average NBA salary ... or the $300,000 per season Kenya Bell is getting from VH1 for Basketball Wives.

Kenya, who denies trying to stab Charlie last year, shot back, denying that their income disparity is that high. She also wants a cut of that $1M.

Producers of VH1's Basketball Wives are thinking about filing a lawsuit against cast member Jennifer Williams for publicly trashing the reality show.

After Jennifer Williams sued Nia Crooks for slapping her in the face while taping an episode (below), VH1 reportedly became absolutely livid with her.

Now producers are ready rebut Williams' legal and media rampage, during which she said the show portrays African-American women negatively.

Producers feel Williams' lawsuit is frivolous - her contract says she waives such a right to sue based on physical confrontations, the network says.

Moreover, her explicit show-bashing is in violation of her contract, which forbids cast members from doing media appearances or press without approval.

Or speaking negatively about the show, which the nut job clearly has.

VH1 feels J-Dubs is "ruining the brand" they worked so hard to build, which is hilarious, but actually not a legal stretch if she's in breach of contract.

Crooks, for her part, was charged with battery for the slap. Really.

Basketball Wives star Nia Crooks has been charged with misdemeanor battery for slapping Jennifer Williams on a recent episode of the VH1 "hit" show.

A rep for the Broward County State's Attorney's Office says officials decided to file the criminal charge on April 10, after Williams filed a formal complaint.

If convicted, Nia Crooks faces up to a year in prison.

During the January incident, which aired on last week's Basketball Wives, Nia can be heard threatening to slap Jennifer in the lead-up to the attack.

Jennifer then replied, "I wish you would." Ask and ye shall receive.

Nia's lawyer Marc David Seitles said in a statement, "We will vigorously defend Nia against these charges ... The women on this show executed contracts expressly accepting the risk that a physical altercation could occur."

SIDE NOTE: If that's true, smart move by VH1's parent company.

The lawyer adds, "Given that Jennifer herself has previously instigated fights, to cry foul now is absurd and a desperate attempt for publicity and money."

"We will fight until Nia is vindicated."

Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams cannot BELIEVE Nia Crooks slapped her in the face on this week's episode, and has slapped her with a lawsuit in return.

Filing a civil complaint alleging assault and battery Wednesday, Jennifer seeks damages from Nia - Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada's personal assistant.

According to Williams, Crooks was "negligent, reckless and careless" when slapping Jennifer across the face during an altercation that took place January 21:

"Someone needs to put a number on this bitch and let her race around the track because she's acting like an animal," Williams said of Crooks on Monday.

The episode documented the fight taking place in a VIP suite at Gulfstream Park racetrack in Florida, in which Williams says she suffered "serious injuries."

She alleges she "suffered pain, shock [and] mental anguish" after being slapped by Crooks as their cast mates and VH1 crew members tried to break it up.

Williams is seeking unspecified monetary and punitive damages from Crooks.

"Violence used against any woman is wrong," the reality star says.

"I chose to use the justice system to fight back. If I can have a positive effect for women by fighting back with civil litigation it serves an important purpose."

Not everyone sees it her way, however.

Apparently people watch Basketball Wives.

VH1's erroneously named franchise keeps coming back, with a fourth (!) season getting the green light and already underway for an hour every Monday night.

Who's starring this year? These nut jobs:

Basketball Wives Season 4 Cast

Here's a brief rundown of the "roster" and what we can expect in a season that promises to up the drama like never before ... eat your hearts out, Real Housewives.

1. Shaunie O'Neal, ex-wife of future Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal.

VH1's bio: "Shaunie's goal with her series was to shed light on the complex lives of the women who stand beside these larger-than-life professional athletes."

"She's here to show that it's not all glitz and glamour ... [She] is Queen Bee to the rest of the Basketball Wives, who swarm to her for advice and guidance."

That is beyond sad. This is her fourth season on the program.

2. Evelyn Lozada, ex-fiancee of Antione Walker, current fiancee of Chad Ochocinco (an NFL player, not a basketball star, and soon to be Chad Johnson again).

VH1: "She is highly regarded as a fashionista ... Evelyn is photographed not just because of ex-fiance's game, but because of her own impressive 'shoe game.'"

Whatever. Like Shaunie, she is an original cast member.

It was only a matter of time.

Mere weeks after Vanessa Bryant became one of the NBA's most famous ex-wives, she has become the Holy Grail for producers of VH1's misnamed Basketball Wives.

The people behind the show are prepping to make Kobe's ex-wife an offer she can't refuse, with sources say "an extremely lucrative pitch for Vanessa" is imminent.

As one source put it, they will do whatever it takes to get her, since, “Vanessa has more than enough storyline and would bring the show to another level.”

Vanessa Bryant, Kobe

Producers never dreamed of approaching Vanessa Bryant while she was married to the L.A. Lakers superstar, who she recently left due to Kobe's repeated cheating.

Budget constraints were also an issue when the show was in its infancy, but with Wives pulling in big ratings for VH1, and Vanessa single, times have changed!

Sources say producers would instantly make her the LEAD star the show or spin off an L.A. version with her as the centerpiece. We're not buying it, though.

First of all, Vanessa scored $75 million in their divorce. VH1 isn't going to woo her with money, in other words, and it's unclear if she wants to be a fame whore.

Even if she does, we doubt Kobe will agree to have his daughters on the program, which could be a tough workaround as Vanessa will have primary custody.

Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada are still very much together, and still getting married. But it was a close call, requiring the NFL star to save their relationship.

He did it the old fashioned way: Groveling.

Lozada put their wedding plans on hold after she suspected 85 was stepping out on her, but did not 86 the relationship altogether because Chad stepped up.

Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada

According to sources, Ocho broke down this week and apologized (for exactly what, it's unclear), saying he would do whatever it took to win Evelyn Lozada back.

He even suggested the two go to couple's counseling. Impressive.

Evelyn agreed and they'll seek help to work out their trust issues.

Through her rep, Evelyn said the following, "The strain from our busy schedules started to take a serious toll on our relationship. Yet after spending much needed quality time together, Chad and I are in a good space."

Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials, again!

Chad Ochocinco's fiancee Evelyn Lozada may 86 the couple's wedding for good because she suspects 85 has been cheating behind her back, according to new reports.

The Basketball Wives reality star recently confronted the Chad after she became suspicious about his recent behavior ... and apparently wasn't moved by his reaction.

The couple hasn't split up, but the wedding is off ... for now.

Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada

Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco are (were?) set to marry this summer.

While Evelyn hasn't "officially" cancelled the wedding yet, things aren't looking good right now. It's still unclear if this will be resolved in time ... or at all.

To make matters worse, Chad and Evelyn were supposed to begin shooting their new reality show in just three weeks. That plan is also now up in the air.

Lozada was also at the center of cheating allegations recently - with Terrell Owens no less - but this time it's Ocho who's supposedly been running around.

We know you can't take the suspense, but we'll keep you updated. Stay tuned.

The producers of Basketball Wives are doing more than re-signing Evelyn Lozada to up the ante for Season Four. There will be new cast members in the mix, as well.

Controversial ones at that.

Kenya Bell (below, right) will be joining the show this coming season, and has already "assumed the role of the villain" and gotten into a few fights with the girls.

Kesha Ni'cole Nichols and Kenya Bell

Bell is a former Miss Michigan USA who was arrested for allegedly trying to effing stab her husband, former Michigan State star Charlie Bell, with a box cutter.

Standard Basketball Wives procedure, really.

Interestingly, not only was Kenya with Charlie before he went pro, but she also has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. So she's not a gold digger?

Weird. The other new cast member is Kesha Ni'cole Nichols (above, left). She planned to wed NBA All-Star Richard Jefferson back in 2009, but he bailed last minute.

Almost literally. They were set to tie the knot in $2 million wedding, but Jefferson called a 20-second time out, breaking up with Kesha Ni'Cole via email.

Nichols talks openly about the wedding that wasn't on the show and has, at least thus far, been well-liked by the rest of the cast. But just give it time.
