Based on the trailer that aired on last night's Men Tell All special, Season 2 of Bachelor Pad is shaping up to be one of the best/worst shows in reality TV history.

Seriously, it's guaranteed to elicit one or both of these responses:

  1. This show represents all that is wrong with society today!
  2. This is so bad, it's must-see TV!

Think Big Brother only with more hormones, bigger egos, pre-existing feuds and a hodgepodge of some of the most memorable Bachelor/Bachelorette castoffs:

Jake Pavelka is on it. Need we say more? Fame whoring at its finest for the cast, and guilty-pleasure, brain cell-eroding drama at its best for the viewers.

It all starts next week. For more on tonight's Bachelorette finale, be sure to check out The Bachelorette spoilers, and follow the jump for a preview:

Bachelor Pad. It's just too awesome to limit to an hour. Or two.

ABC has somehow decided that the second-season premiere of The Bachelor and Bachelortte competition spinoff will air from 8-11 p.m. August 8.

Yes, they’re devoting three hours to the show. “It’s like the Schindler’s List of The Bachelor franchise,” jokes an insider of the extra-long premiere.

Similar to our stance on Vienna, we're not gonna touch that one.

Gia Allemand on Bachelor Pad

Gia Allemand will be back for a second stint in the Pad.

The show, which pits former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars against each other in a competition for $250,000, can thank Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi for their utter hatred of each other and unwillingness to relent in their quest for fame.

The pair got engaged on the finale of The Bachelor, only to flame out in epic fashion and give a must-see break-up interview a few months later.

Girardi is now dating another Pad resident, Kasey Kahl, which should only contribute to the drama at the famed L.A. mansion this summer.

The 18th and final contestant on the upcoming season of ABC's Bachelor Pad has been revealed: It's this week's Bachelorette castoff, Ames Brown!

We know. Didn't see that coming.

ABC withheld the identity of the last contestant, only revealing that it was a male who appeared on the current season of The Bachelorette.

Conventional wisdom suggested the villainous Bentley Williams would be a good fit, as would ... any of the guys remaining besides Ames.

The portfolio manager is a terrific guy, don't get us wrong. In fact, that's why it seems like an odd fit with the likes of Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi.

You just fear that he'll be eaten alive by these people ... on the flip side, he should easily be able to outwit them. But does he even need $250,000?

In any case, Ames joins fellow Bachelorette contestants William Holman and Blake Julian from this season. The show premieres Monday, August 8.

The week before that is The Bachelorette finale, with Ben, JP and Constantine still in the running. With Ames gone, who should Ashley choose?

When ABC's Bachelor Pad returns August 8, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will meet again in the mansion as they battle for ... everything.

With $250,000 on the line - and Girardi's current beau, Bachelorette reject Kasey Kahl, in the mix - the stakes are high and the insults bitter.

"I hope she falls 3,000 feet to her death," Jake says in the promo below.

It's no surprise that the exes' icy interactions highlight the summer spin-off series, which airs a week after The Bachelorette season finale.

"She's trying to hurt me so she can get the money," a fired up Jake says in reference to the show's grand prize. "It will not happen!"

Vienna Girardi is equally as vengeful. "I hate him!" she snipes.

Bachelor Pad. Perhaps the best and worst show (simultaneously) in the history of reality TV, the ABC competition and STD-fest returns August 8.

The Bachelor and Bachelorette spinoff pits castoffs from one or the other (or both, in the case of Jake Pavelka) in a house where they hook up.

They also compete for a cash prize by doing ridiculous things.

  • Shirtless Jake Pavelka
  • Vienna Girardi Bikini Photo

These two have great bodies. Sadly, they will eventually open their mouths.

Some of Season 2's best drama will likely come from Jake and Vienna Girardi, Bachelor winner and his fiancee of approximately 49 minutes. She's now dating Kasey Kahl, meaning he will have to guard and protect that a$$.

Two new additions from the current season of The Bachelorette - Blake Julian and William Holman - join a bunch of (possibly) familiar faces.

Gia Allemand is back for a second round, while recent villains "Rated R" and Michelle Money should shake things up along with the randoms.

Awkward. Here's a look at the cast of Z-list hotties ...

Former Bachelorette contestant Craig Robinson was allegedly sexually harassed by a married female producer of the show, and as such, was unceremoniously dispatched from the cast of ABC's Bachelor Pad this summer.

The producer was fired.

Derek Lowe Mug Shot

Robinson wooed Ali Fedotowsky on the sixth season of The Bachelorette, but claims he was wooed - hard core - by Karri-Leigh Mastrangelo.

The Bachelorette supervising producer was also leading efforts to pick the Bachelor Pad cast for the second season, and Craig was a contender.

Robinson, a 27-year-old lawyer from Philadelphia, Pa., initially tolerated Mastrangelo's advances but eventually accused her of sexual harassment.

"It was sort of like sexual harassment, but I realized if I rejected her, I'd probably ruin my chances to be on Bachelor Pad," Robinson told Star.

Hey, at least he's honest about it.

Robinson told Star that Mastrangelo initially called him to repeatedly discuss harmless matters concerning the Bachelor Pad selection process, but eventually she took their level of communication to "an alarming level."

Monday's episode of The Bachelorette saw the return - and final exit - of Bentley Williams. You know what that means. Coming to Bachelor Pad this summer is ...

Blake Julian.

Yes, the only guy who was actually eliminated last night (Bentley and Mickey just left). A little bit of a letdown, we know. Bentley is tailor-made for that show.

Just the same, Blake joins last week's exiled Bachelorette hopeful, happy-go-lucky 30-year-old boy William Holman, for the coming season at the Pad.

Blake Julian Picture

The fellow dentist never got a one-on-one date with Ashley Hebert and never really hit it off with her, either. Will he have better luck at the Pad in August?

You never know. One more “Mystery Man” from the current season will round out the cast of the Bachelor spin-off. Six men remain in all. Who will it be?

We know who it won't be. Someone's gotta get engaged to Ashley, after all. To learn who (we think) it is, follow this link for The Bachelorette spoilers!

William Holman, who was sent packing by Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert on last night's episode, will have a shot at redemption on Bachelor Pad this summer.

He becomes the first of the three "mystery men" to join the Bachelor Pad cast, which was unveiled last week, sans fellas still competing on The Bachelorette.

No word if Bentley will join William on the August 8 premiere.

William Holman Picture

William's stint on The Bachelorette can best be described as up and down.

The 30-year-old nice guy from Ohio went on an awesome first date with Ashley, but stumbled hard soon after, making her sob during a comedy roast.

He somehow survived that debacle, but shot himself in the foot Monday, sabotaging Ben C. for no reason at all and coming off as beyond immature.

Note to guys: If you describe yourself as a "30-year-old boy" who wants a girl you can "act silly" around "not grow up" with ... you're gonna get dumped.

On the flip side, Bachelor Pad is probably the perfect fit for you.

The cast of Bachelor Pad, ABC's lowest-common-denominator (but still fun, we can't lie) spinoff of The Bachelor and Bachelorette, has been released!

Season 2 of the raunchy funhouse antics kicks off August 8, with 18 stars from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette coming together under one roof.

So who will duke it out for $250,000, free booze, a better than average opportunity to get laid a lot and another 15 minutes of fleeting fame?

  • Douchiest Couple Ever
  • Jake Looking Cool

Perhaps most notably, Jake Pavelka visits the Pad after his engagement to Vienna Girardi ended. She'll be there too ... with new man Kasey Kahl.

Also, Gia Allemand is back for a second season, while newcomers Michael Stagliano and Holly Durst were recently engaged. It's gonna be awk.

Here are the full Bachelor Pad Season 2 rosters:

Jake Pavelka is making it a trifecta.

The Bachelorette castoff turned Bachelor star is coming to season two of Bachelor Pad this summer! Counting his stint on Dancing With the Stars, this will be the fourth ABC reality show for Jake in two years. Pretty amazing.

Pavelka, who is also starring on Famous Food with Heidi Montag and Ashley Dupre (seriously, that's a real show) will be competing for 15 more minutes of fame - and $250,000 - with other Bachelor rejects August 8.

Jake P.

EW broke the story with its report that Jake took Jackie Gordon (from last season of The Bachelor) out on the town for a date at LA’s El Capitan theater.

While Jackie didn’t make the final cut with Brad Womack, maybe she and Jake will fare better. Eh, Brad and Jake are both uptight stiffs, so probably not.

ABC has not announced the full cast of Bachelor Pad, but if rumors are true, Jake's ex-fiancee Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl, her new man, are both on it!

That is going to be seriously awkward. And ratings gold.
