Sunday was family day for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.

The two took son Bronx Mowgli, whom they welcomed last November, to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation's "A Time For Heroes" celebrity carnival.

As Pete helped locals customize T-shirts, the new Melrose Place star stood by his side, making faces and smiling at Bronx, whom she held in her arms.

He sure is a little cutie ...

Rumors that Pete Wentz got Ashlee Simpson pregnant a second time appear unfounded, which is probably for the best. The two have their hands full with one bundle of joy - and made a T-shirt especially for Bronx at the charity event.

Pete - who celebrated his 30th birthday Saturday in Las Vegas - also was on daddy duty at the event, holding Bronx as Ashlee chatted with some fans.

Ashlee began cracking up when a young girl approached her for an autograph and Bronx tried grabbing the girl’s book. Ah, to be a cute young mom.

Ashlee Simpson is married to Pete Wentz and she's the mother of his child, but the no-talent hack is still insecure when it comes to his former flames.

Out-of-control Ash loudly trash-talked Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg Monday night at the "DJ Hero" party at LA's Wiltern Theatre, reports say.

The trouble started when Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were seated near Trachtenberg, who dated Wentz before the Fall Out Boy bassist met Ash.

"The evening started off very civilly," reports the New York Post. "Pete and Ashlee had a pleasant conversation with Michelle and her boyfriend for close to 20 minutes, even showing [Trachtenberg] some baby pictures of [their baby] Bronx."

But then Ashlee Simpson started drinking and all hell broke loose.

An increasingly loud Simpson began to give Wentz a lap dance while staring directly at Michelle and hurling insults at her: "She was grinding up on Pete like a stripper. It was actually pretty disgusting," a witness said.

Things reached a climax when Simpson, who just landed a role in the CW's remake of Melrose Place, screamed at a confused Michelle Trachtenberg, "I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was [bleep]ing him!"

Classy.

Jessica's younger sis had to be restrained at the event, where Jay-Z and Eminem performed. Ashlee Simpson was eventually dragged away by bystanders.

It's a fashion face-off of CW stars ... kind of.

Kristen Bell narrates, but is never seen on Gossip Girl, while Ashlee Simpson has joined the cast of the new Melrose Place. In any case, both have joined the ranks of trendy celebrity style with their latest fashion statements!

The actress, who also stars on Heroes, paired her 3.1 Phillip Lim tank top with khakis for an A/X party in L.A., while the alleged singer and sister of Jessica Simpson wore her tribal printed top for a day of family fun in Manhattan.

It has been reported that Pete Wentz got Ashlee Simpson pregnant, and that she's banking on her second bundle of joy to salvage a deteriorating relationship.

We have no idea if that's true or not, but one thing is undeniably clear - the alleged singer's first spawn, Bronx Mowgli, has a ridiculous name cute little face!

Ashlee Simpson, who's branching out in her "career" by taking on a role in the CW's new remake of Melrose Place, seems to be a natural in the role of mom.

As long as she doesn't try to emulate Jessica Simpson fashion. Then the kid will be scarred for life - although we'd have some great photos for our site.

Each spring, networks invite advertisers to an event that serves as the official launching party for its fall schedule. This is where deals are made and new shows are announced.

For The CW, a channel that aims to attract a less mature audience, it was the perfect time to showcase its array of up-and-coming stars.

Due to the success of Gossip Girl and 90210, The CW is more interested than ever in focusing on teenage soap operas.

Aside from the aforementioned remake of Melrose Place, look for The Beautiful Life on the network's fall schedule. It stars Mischa Barton and Corbin Bleu.

If she acts half as well as she sings ... this show is gonna eat royal ass!

The zenith of uselessness up until now, Ashlee Simpson is ready to test her acting chops as a cast member in the upcoming remake of Melrose Place on the CW.

Just kidding ... mostly. When your foremost TV moment was being booed after she couldn't even lip-synch effectively on SNL, there's nowhere to go but up.

In all seriousness, the show looks pretty good. Here is your first look at the cast of the new Melrose Place, scheduled to debut this fall on The CW network ...

We're going to assume, based on this photo and the general unreliability of the tabloid that reported it, that Pete Wentz did not get Ashlee Simpson pregnant again.

Then again, no word on when this was taken. There's also a chance it's photoshopped, and that Ashlee will be filmed neck-up all season, a la Kelly Rutherford.

We just hope Ash's character, Violet, will get a lot of really bad plastic surgery at some point in the first season. Then she won't even have to worry about trying to act!

One is a talentless actress that has somehow landed a role on this fall's Melrose Place remake.

The other is a useless reality star only famous because she spends lots of money on material items.

In other words, Ashlee Simpson and Bethenny Frankel have a similar impact on both society and the celebrity gossip world. They also have similar tastes in fashion.

Mrs. Pete Wenz attended an April party in New York City in the following Phillip Lim dress, while the Real Housewives of New York City star celebrated a Modern Bride event this past week in the same black ruffle-trimmed outfit.

Who looks better in it?

Ashlee Simpson is pregnant with another baby, Star Magazine reports, adding that its source says the singer is "just a few weeks along" and is "beyond thrilled."

Still, Jessica Simpson's useless sibling is opting to keep the news private "for at least two more months" before sharing it with the celebrity gossip media.

The mag says Ashlee hopes that baby #2 will make her and Pete closer as his grinding with skanks hectic schedule has put a strain on their relationship.

A foolproof plan if ever there were one.

"... She loves Pete and wants to hang on to him. She believes this second baby will really clinch the deal," the celebrity gossip source reportedly writes.

If you believe what you read online, Ashlee Simpson is knocked up and excited about it. But unlike his wife, Pete Wentz is not yet ready to father a second child.

"He absolutely loves Ash and Bronx Mowgli," claims the tabloid when referring to how the Fall Out Boy bass player feels toward Ashlee and their baby boy.

"But he also loves his freedom. He thinks a second kid could change things for the worse. He doesn't want to be tied down and stuck at home all the time."

No official confirmation (or denial) has been made by Team Wentz concerning the report of her new pregnancy, or the couple's supposedly rocky marriage.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were longtime lovers before making it official in May 2008. They welcomed the arrival of son Bronx Mowgli in November.

We've been wishing for years that someone would come up with a way to let us tap in to Ashlee Simpson's innermost thoughts ... or whatever goes on in the empty void where a brain would typically be. Then along came blessed Twitter.

The last time we saw poorly-named Bronx Mowgli, he was but an infant on the Wentz family's holiday card. Now look how much he's grown! Wide-eyed, wonderful and seemingly unaware of the ridicule he will one day receive at school.

Guess if celeb gossip magazines aren't offering you millions for a Brangelina-style photo spread, you might as well give 'em away for free on Twitter, right?

All we can say is run for it, Bronx Mowgli. Sooner or later, mom and aunt Jessica are going to sing for you, and you don't wanna be near anything made of glass.

Celebs. They love their pouty, ridiculously fake and ugly lips.

Somewhere, sometime, someone told them this was the in thing. Then, like everything else, it gets overplayed and wildly out of hand in the blink of an eye.

Maybe everyone just wants to be Angelina Jolie (we know Octomom does). But perhaps they should consider adoption, not quadrupling the size of their lips.
