Arnold Schwarzenegger Gossip

Obscene Message in Arnold Schwarzenegger Letter?

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger sure has a way with words.

Whether he's calling political opponents "girlie men" or nonchalantly musing on life while puffing on a stogie in the jacuzzi during the state's current fiscal catastrophe, Governator Ahhnold certainly has no shortage of critics in politics.

Ones he may have just given a cryptic slap in the legislative face.

His rep calls it a coincidence, but a recent letter Schwarzenegger sent Democratic Assemblyman Tom Ammiano announcing his rejection of Assembly Bill 1176 may contain a not-so-well-hidden, obscene message.

Some believe this was the Guv's classy reaction to this particular lawmaker heckling him, Joe Wilson style, at a recent event in San Francisco.

Just read down the left-hand margin for the message ...

Coincidence? Careful word choice and alignment? You be the judge!

Arnold Schwarzenegger to Maria Shriver: Hang Up the Phone!

How's this for public marital squabbling?

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is calling out his wife, Maria Shriver, for apparently violating a state law and holding her cell phone while driving.

Ahhnold himself passed that very law!

The celebrity gossip site TMZ posted two photographs Tuesday showing Shriver holding a phone behind the wheel, one Sunday and the other in July.

The site later added a video it said was shot Tuesday in Brentwood, a posh area of L.A., where the family lives. It shows Shriver holding a cell phone to her ear while driving a large SUV that appears to be a Cadillac Escalade.

She puts the phone down while the camera is rolling.

Upon learning of the infractions, the Governorator promised to regulate.

On his Twitter feed, Schwarzenegger wrote to TMZ's Harvey Levin: "Thanks for bringing her violations to my attention. There's going to be swift action."

Schwarzenegger spokesman Aaron McLear says that by "swift action," the governor means he'll ask his wife not to hold her cellphone while driving.

Celebrities Flock to Support Arnold Schwarzenegger

Vote For Me Or I Will Kill YouSadly, Jon Stewart is not running for president.

But that doesn't mean you can't throw support behind another famous person in office. Numerous celebrities certainly are doing so.

In the California governor's race, Arnold Schwarzenegger holds adouble-digit edge in the polls - but his lead over Democratic rival Phil Angelides when it comes star wattage is even bigger.

Recently, the actor/governor signed a bill with George Clooney on hand. After that , Schwarzenegger was hanging out with the Dalai Lama. Tony Blair also chimed in a couple days later.

He's the prime minister of England, Paris Hilton.

On Wednesday, the governor returns to NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the same platform where he launched his campaign for governor in 2003.

"I think Angelides has a better chance of trying to arm-wrestle Arnold than he does trying to match him for celebrity attention," said Jonathan Wilcox, who teaches a class on celebrity and society at the University of Southern California.

Arnold's red carpet supporters also include Hollywood heavyweights Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg. His old pal Danny DeVito pops up. He gave a speech last month at a women's conference organized by his celebrity wife, Maria Shriver, where the guest list ranged from Martha Stewart to the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists.

As for Angelides? Well, the state treasurer and a former developer, was joined at recent events by actors Ed Begley Jr. and Daniel Stern.

All he needs is the backing of Peter Sarsgaard and this race for celebrity support will be even!
