When the voting begins in less than 24 hours, the longest and by far the most entertaining presidential campaign in history will finally draw to a close.

Comedians Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have welcomed their first child, a boy named Archie, on Saturday. The little guy weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz.
During the Weekend Update segment of Saturday Night Live last night, Amy Poehler's co-anchor Seth Meyers announced to a cheering crowd:
"Amy Poehler is not here tonight because she is having a baby."
Poehler revealed in April that she and Arnett were expecting: "I've been very lucky. I’m feeling good, and I’m just overwhelmed with blessings."
While Poehler has been shining on SNL - especially when teaming up with Tina Fey in political sketches - Arnett has some new projects of his own, including starring with Heroes' Kristen Bell in the big-screen comedy When in Rome.
Amy is rumored to be starring in a spin-off of The Office at some point in the near future. And you thought The Office quotes were funny as it is!
Saturday Night Live's Tina Fey appears as Alaska Governor and Republican V.P. candidate Sarah Palin at another faux press conference ... while the real Sarah Palin appears back stage, critiquing the skit with the show's producer, Lorne Michaels.
Things get awkward when Alec Baldwin - believing Palin to be his 30 Rock co-star Fey - tries to persuade Lorne not to have Tina portray "that woman" anymore. In the midst of it all, Mark Wahlberg shows up looking for Andy Samberg!

Last week's Saturday Night Live opening sketch - which featured Tina Fey as Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as former First Lady Hillary Clinton - was such a hit that Fey reprised her hilarious impersonation last night.
It doesn't hurt that Palin provides so much material. As Tina herself said after last week, she hopes to never portray this character ever again after November. But we're grateful for the funny cameos on her former show in the meantime.

Given that Tina Fey and Sarah Palin are already noted look-alikes, it was only a matter of time until the Saturday Night Live alumna parodied the Alaska Governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate on the late night comedy show.
Not only is Fey a dead-ringer for Sarah Palin, but her accent was downright hilarious in last night's "non-partisan" sketch skewering the 2008 presidential election.
Amy Poehler, while bearing no physical resemblance to Hillary Clinton, is nonetheless funny as the former First Lady in this faux, joint press conference ...
"I believe global warming is just God hugging us a little closer!"

Baby Mama star Amy Poehler has announced that she isn't merely expecting on the big screen; she and hilarious husband Will Arnett.
"I'm great with kids," Poehler recently told New York's Daily News. "I think I'm still a big giant kid. I understand them and usually we're the same size. I think I understand the way they look up at the world. I get it."
A possibly-funny, possibly-bitter Hillary Clinton actually cited last weekend's SNL skit at the onset of this week's debate with Barack Obama in Ohio.
"In the last several debates, I seem to get the first question all the time," the New York Senator said. "I don't mind. I'll be happy to field it. I just find it curious if anybody saw Saturday Night Live ... maybe we should ask [Barack Obama] if he's comfortable and needs another pillow."

People are just lining up to take shots at Britney Spears.
The latest is Saturday Night Live's sassy news anchor, Amy Poehler, who seemed to speak for all of America on last weekend's episode in reciting a serious vagina monologue of sorts - one directed at the exhibitionist Mrs. Federline and other Hollywood actresses seemingly dedicated to pants-free living.
In reference to the infamous nude Britney Spears pictures from November, when the pop star was caught baring all during one of her many clubbing ventures with that tramp Paris Hilton, Amy had this to say during SNL's mid-show "Weekend Update" segment:
"Speaking of Britney Spears, I'd just like to take a minute to address this latest trend: flashing your business while coming and/or leaving a limosine. Ladies, you need to cool it. Nobody wants to see your baby factory... What's next? Shots of stars pooping out of a window?
And lastly, ladies, what's up with all the deforestation going on down there? You need hair down there! It's a backup system for underwear! Even when you're showing it, you're not really showing it! There was a time when a lady garden was as big as a slice of New York pizza. Then it turned into an upside down John Waters mustache!"
Wow. Typical Amy Poehler. So wrong... yet right on target and not unfunny. Never has someone gone on an anti-crotch shot rant quite like this.
