It was ladies night on American Idol Tuesday, with all 10 remaining women taking to the stage and performing live for the first time on Season 12.

Some performances really stood out (Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb) for positive reasons, while others (hello, Zoanette Johnson!) were memorable for a very different reason.

Having already posted five of the 10 auditions, we now present the remaining quintet.

Amber Holcomb aimed as high as one can on last night's live audition episode of American Idol.

The Season 12 covered Whitney Houston, treating viewers to a version of "I Believe in You and Me" and earning a standing ovation from all four judges in the process.

Was it deserved? Watch her execute a number of challenging runs now and decide for yourself:

Well, they can't all be potential winners.

With American Idol contestants Kree Harrison and Candice Glover setting the impressive tone on the first live audition show of Season 12 last night, Zoanette Johnson took to the Fox stage and set... something else.

She botched her lyrics. She looked lethargic. She wore very short shorts.

It all resulted in a disastrous cover of Tina Turner that left Keith Urban with only one thing to praise: Johnson's "exhibitionism."

Check it out now. If you dare.

The pre-Season 12 hype was proven correct on the first live American Idol show of the year Tuesday:

These ladies can really wail!

Among the top performances of the evening were Breanna Steer covering Beyonce's "Flaws & All," Kree Harrison making like Faith Hill on "Stronger" and definitely Candice Glover belting out "Ordinary People."

It was a night of impressive young women covering iconic professional veterans on American Idol Tuesday.

First, viewers were treated to Breanna Steer making like Beyonce on a solid rendition of "Flaws & All."

Then, Kree Harrison took to the stage and proved she may be "Stronger" than the rest of the field, covering Faith Hill and proving she very much belongs in the Top 20.

Check out the live performance now:

Breanna Steer did Beyonce proud on American Idol last night.

On the first live show of Season 12, this impressive vocalist put on one of the best performance, showing both a power and a restraint in covering "Flaws & All" for the judges and voters back home.

The onus is now on you, fans. No way you can send Steer home after this kind of confident rendition, right?

Watch her tenderly sing the ballad now:

Through the opening rounds of American Idol Season 12, we haven't exactly been impressed by any of the male contestants.

But it's not too late to turn things around Cortez Shaw, Lazaro Arbos and company.
