Might Amy Davis have competition for most beautiful American Idol contestant this season?

Cardin McKinney received a ticket to Hollywood this week, despite a less-than-enthusiastic response to her audition from Simon Cowell. He referred to her performance as "theatrical," but in a bad way, we guess.

The British judge couldn't find anything wrong with McKinney's looks, however, and it's easy to see why:

Davis may not have to worry about competition from Cardin for long: the American Idol spoilers that listed this season's top 24 did NOT include McKinney.

This rumor has led her obnoxious, misguided fans on The Cardin Nation website to say "Cardin's bigger than American Idol now, so it really doesn't matter anymore."

Right. That's why approximately 35 million more people watch the show every week than have even heard of Cardin McKinney.

Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas married on Saturday, February 2 at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church before heading to a wedding reception at St. Viviana's in Los Angeles. The couple - and 300+ guests - had a blast!

Putting aside the speculation of a pregnant Katharine McPhee for now, take a look at some of these sweet wedding photos. We have to say, former American Idol star Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas make a very cute couple.

We've posted a few cute pictures below. People has some more here.

She's certainly a beautiful bride. Can you spot Katharine's fellow American Idol Season Four finalist Kellie Pickler among her many bridesmaids?

Katharine McPhee may be happy with her marriage to Nick Cokas.

But the former American Idol runner-up can't be thrilled with the performance of her self-titled debut album, which sold roughly 366,000 since it was released last February. Meanwhile, Simon Cowell simply isn't thrilled with McPhee herself.

Pia Toscano on Motown Night

"Didn't care much about Katharine McPhee," Cowell told Extra Thursday. "I don't think she was a credible recording artist. Katharine will end up on Broadway!"

Simon went on to to reject the notion that American Idol has given seventh-season Hollywood tickets to several contestants who previously had recording contracts - such as Kristy Lee Cook and Carly Smithson - as part of a conspiracy to insure that the show's next winner is a chart-topping success.

"Oh, give me a break!" Cowell sad. "Regardless of whether or not you got a recording contract, they've all failed, which is why they turn up on American Idol."

Two American Idol contestants that are rumored to make the final 24 of this year's competition have one thing in common: a background in modeling.

Amy Davis, for example, has appeared in ads for Wild Turkey Liquor, Vonage and an assortment of other companies. As her modeling biography also states, Davis has served as the lead singer for a band called 6th Element, as well as a Pink Floyd tribute band called Echoes of Pompei.

Then there's JoAnne Borgella.

This plus-sized model actually won the 2005 reality show Mo'Nique's Fat Chance. She may attract a different sort of audience than Davis, but both contestants will be relying on more than just looks when fans pick up their phones.

They better be able to carry a tune.

Last night's American Idol was billed as the "best of the rest." So we expected a handful of solid singers, many of whom would move on to Hollywood and even a few that have already been named as part of this season's final 24, according to our American Idol spoilers.

We weren't disappointed.

A quartet of contestants that auditioned last night are rumored to make it far this season. We've highlighted a pair below:

Danny Noriega: This talent advanced to Hollywood last season, but was never heard from again. He hopes to be singing a different tune this year... literally! Danny admitted that nerves were his worst enemy a season ago, so check out his audition now to see if he's conquered those skittish demons:

Amy Davis: Might she be this year's Antonella Barba? No, not because we've heard anything about Davis' oral skills outside of singing, but because she's a certified hottie! The former Nashville Star contestant can carry a tune, we guess, but her past modeling photos have us too distracted to tell.

Also advancing to Hollywood after last night: Chikezie Eze and Joanne Borgella.

The two American Idol contestants that stood out the most for us during last night's auditions in Atlanta each had a sad story to tell. But at least the evening ended well for Asiah Epperson and Josiah Leming...

Asiah Epperson: This novice of a singer belted out the Leann Rimes tune, "How Do I Live," in honor of her father. In one of the more sincere, tragic  back stories to ever accompany a contestant, Epperson's dad passed away in a car accident mere days before she tried out.

Big Mike, Big Singer

As you can see below, though, Asiah's voice carried her through to Hollywood. This was no pity vote. Once she exited with her golden ticket, Paula Abdul broke down in tears and had to leave briefly. Probably to mourn. Possibly to get more liquored up.

Josiah Leming: This 18-year free spirit lives out of his car. But don't call him homeless, Josiah insisted to the judges. He proceeded to impress them with his vocals, despite the fact that Leming appeared to sing with a British accent. Not what you'd expect from a Tennessee native.

One day after their Beverly Hills wedding, Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas jetted off to Hawaii for a romantic honeymoon... and possibly more!

The American Idol star, 23, and her husband, 42, arrived in Maui Sunday. They've been seen hanging out on the beach and shopping.

Movie Song Rendition

But they may have other plans entirely.

Katharine, who's said she's "always wanted to be pregnant," may have gotten an early star. Check out this loose-fitting top she's wearing ...

Is Katharine McPhee pregnant? Hmm. This picture may be deceiving, as it may just be the cover-up she's wearing over her swimsuit that makes it look like it.

If Nick Cokas did get Katharine McPhee pregnant, though, consider this the first evidence! And count us among the first to congratulate them!

What do you think? Is Katharine with child?

As we prepare for the fourth week of American Idol auditions, it seems like a good time to break out our second Power Poll of the season.

With six solid episodes under our belt, here's how The Hollywood Gossip staff ranks this year's early contenders:

1) Kristy Lee Cook: Gorgeous Oregonian's "Amazing Grace" was highlight of the opening three weeks - but will fans revolt against her one-time record deal with Arista Nashville?

2) Michael Johns: Also referred to as "Michael Lee Johns," the former band member once had a deal with Madonna's music label, but a professional background is par for this year's American Idol course. The Aussie made a strong impression with a tight T-shirt, toned biceps, and a solid Otis Redding cover.

3) David Archuleta: Former Star Search winner has the sympathy vote locked up: he struggled with a paralyzed vocal chord as a child. This year's Sanjaya Malakar… with talent?

4) Samantha Sidley (pictured, new this week): Young beauty played along when Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul swapped duties during her audition. She proceeded to deliver a restrained, lovely version of ''Don't Know Why.''

5) Carly Smithson: Another American Idol hopeful with prior experience â€" she crashed and burned in her major-label debut as Carly Hennessy a few years back â€" this tattooed Irishwoman displayed great range on "I'm Every Woman."

6) David Cook (new this week): If you cover Bon Jovi during an audition like Cook did, we'll give you props. This is another Chris Daughtry-type, who hopes to become the first rocker to win American Idol.

7) Colton Swon: We liked his impressive take on Little Big Town's "Boondocks" and are excited about the rumor that he plays the guitar during the Hollywood round.

Katharine McPhee and actor Nick Cokas wed Saturday in Beverly Hills, with 300 guests - including a gospel choir - filling a Presbyterian Church!

McPhee's bridesmaids wore floor-length pink dresses, matching the flowers, which included pink, purple, peach and white roses.

Rumer Willis, McPhee's costar in the upcoming film I Know What Boys Like, was among the celebrities in attendance at the wedding.

Katharine McPhee, 23, and Nick Cokas, 42, first met when they performed in a L.A. theater production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

They began dating in 2005, and soon after, Nick Cokas convinced her to try out for American Idol and drove her to the auditions. They got engaged last year.

The singer and Southern California native has always shrugged off the 19-year age difference between herself and Nick Cokas.

"I love [older men]," she has said. "They're just wiser, and they're less about themselves and more about you."

While McPhee was recently dropped from her label, she may have other plans in store - both career-wise and family-wise.

"I want to have, like, 15 babies," she said in an interview late last year. "I've always wanted to be pregnant!"

Sounds like it won't be ltoo ong before we come out with our next headline about the gorgeous singer: Katharine McPhee pregnant!
