The Coven will soon reach its conclusion.

So with Season 3 of his FX smash winding down, creator Ryan Murphy is starting to turn his attention to the fourth incantation of this unique television franchise.

And Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive scoop!

American Horror Story: Coven Trio

Murphy told that magazine this week that Season 4 will be "set in 1950," adding of what the theme/topic will be:

“If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”

Ooh, German accent! Intriguing! And a tad confusing.

To what do you think Murphy is referring? And how will Season 4 possibly top Season 3? Watch American Horror Story online at TV Fanatic now and let's hear your theories!

The singer has been referenced numerous times this season by Misty and she poked fun here at those who believed over the years that she's actually involved with witchcraft.

Regardless of whether this was it for one of the Coven's youngest members, an alliance was formed last night, and an evil corporation was introduced.

Elsewhere, Roots was involved in bizarre fashion. You gotta see the episode.

American Horror Story Season 3 Episode 7 saw Zoe continue her rapid transformation from witch with lethal lady parts to one of the most powerful in the Coven.

Kyle still eludes her, however, and continues to struggle in Frankenstein form.

Despite a number of key decisions and life-altering moments, American Horror Story Season 3 Episode 7, the hour was more of a gateway to things yet to come.

In "The Dead," there were no huge consequences, only foreshadowed ones.

How will it all play out in weeks to come? That remains to be seen. If you missed it, or want a second look, watch the episode in full now by clicking below!

Goodbye, Nazis and aliens and insane asylums.

Hello, witches and gang rapes and slave torturing.
