Crazy Good: Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta Reunite on Stage

While Andrew Garcia, Lilly Scott and other early favorites battle it out on American Idol, a trio of season eight finalists took to the stage Friday night and reminded this group how far they still have to go.

Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta all took part in Ryan Seacrest's "Rock My Town" show at Manhattan's Highline Ballroom.

The singers played individual sets, much to the delight of those in attendance, and then closed the show with a three-part rendition of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy." It's an absolute must-watch for fans of these artists...

Chances are, you've heard a lot about the debut albums from these highly-publicized artists. And for good reason. We're certainly excited about them.

But Allison Iraheta went largely unnoticed during her run on American Idol, and we fear the same thing may happen to her upcoming CD.

Titled "Just Like You," the album will be released on December 1. If the first single off it, "Friday I'll Be Over U," is any indication, we may have the next Kelly Clarkson on our hands. Seriously!

Music fans are in for a three-week treat, beginning on November 17.

On that date, Kris Allen releases his debut CD. A week later, Adam Lambert does the same; and fellow American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta completes the trifecta on December 1 with her debut album.

The trio of talented young singers recently gathered for a photo shoot and interview. This time, no naked women were involved with Lambert.

Allison, Kris and Adam really do seem like they get along, however. Click on each pic below for a larger version of it...

Allison Iraheta Previews Debuts Single, Dishes on Dream Duet

While Kris Allen and Adam Lambert share the month of November (their debuts albums will be released on November 17 and 24, respectively), Allison Iraheta has December all to herself.

Fans of the popular American Idol singer should circle December 1 on their calendar, as Iraheta comes out with her first CD that day.

In a new interview, the rocker dishes on her debut single, "Friday I'll Be Over U," which you can listen to below:

On creating the song: I worked with Max Martin, and he pulled it out of his magic box. He came up with an awesome song and sent I to me and we cut it and it was just amazing. He definitely knows how to put himself in other people's shoes.

On goal for the song: Pretty much show who I really am as an artist, and what I really want to continue doing for the rest of my life, which is this. Just really do awesome music for the rest of my life.

On her dream collaboration: I keep saying this, and I'm always going to say it until it happens... working with Pink, my friend. That would be amazing. Her music altogether inspires me. I look up to her.

Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta: American Idol Answer Machines!

Prepare to squeal, American Idol viewers.

Earlier this week, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta sat down with E! News and answered a number of reader-submitted questions.

From inquiries about shoe sizes to information about their new albums, here are excerpts from the revealing interviews with the rising stars:

Iraheta, on recording a duet together: It's too early to tell. But it's something we'd like to do. Right now we're focusing on our own albums, which is the main goal, and then we can figure that out later. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Lambert, on his new album: We're kind of looking at everything and kind of hanging on to as much as we can and choosing from there. If we're feeling a song, we'll record it. If we're not feeling it, we don't. We're going to powerhouse it after the tour is over as far as getting songs recorded and writing some new material. We've made a nice big dent in the process, but I think the majority of it will be done afterward.

Iraheta, on her fans: I never thought there would be little girls saying, "When I'm older, I want to be like you." It's weird, but it's awesome.

Lambert, on his fans: Every night is such a big event. You have tons of people who are superexcited and passionate, which feels incredible. But at some point, I can only give so much and have enough energy to go out the next day. It really is draining. I'm not complaining about it at all, but it really is... It feels great, but yeah, it takes a chunk out of you.

A Rockin, Slow Ride for Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta

They teamed up for a duet on American Idol.

Now, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta have jumped on stage together again as part of this summer's tour of season eight finalists.

Lucky audience members at a concert in Portland, Oregon witnessed Lambert and Iraheta rocking out to "Slow Ride." Below, you can, too!

Both artists have signed record deals, so fans have debut CDs to look forward to. First, though, check out this performance:

Allison Iraheta Signs a Record Deal

Poor Danny Gokey.

A few weeks after the eighth season finale of American Idol, he's the only member of the final four to have no signed a record deal.

Late yesterday, it was announced that Allison Iraheta, who placed one spot behind Gokey on the show, has joined Kris Allen and Adam Lambert with 19 Recordings.

“I think I’m still in shock that this is happening — getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true!” Iraheta said in a statement.

The Hollywood Gossip Caption Contest 81

Welcome, celebrity gossip and news readers, to The Hollywood Gossip's Caption Contest - the 81st edition of our weekly, Friday afternoon tradition!

When a hot pair of American Idol hopefuls, Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey, react to a startling piece of news, funny captions abound. But none better and more timely than the one sent in by omg. Check out the winning entry below!

Allison Iraheta Eliminated from American Idol

Because Fox producers decided weeks ago that they wanted to see Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey in the final and, as a result, the judges' comments this week weren't remotely critical of a terrible performance by Gokey, Allison Iraheta was eliminated from American Idol last night.

Prior to learning that Iraheta would be sent packing, viewers listened as Danny himself criticized his previous evening's rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On.

"I listened to it back, and I must say, I laughed the whole night," Gokey said, adding: "My own aunt muted the TV."

Are finalists allowed to have one poor performance? Of course. But why was Danny given an "A-plus" for his effort from multiple judges, and why did Paula Abdul's entire critique of his audition Monday involve simply asking the audience if they were Danny Gokey fans?

Weak. Sauce.

As for Iraheta, she can at least take solace in this week's guest performer: Chris Daughtry was voted off early during his American Idol season, has gone on to incredible success and said last night, "At the time it felt like the world was coming to an end... but I got over it about 30 seconds later."
