Yesterday, we reported that NBC's Today Show called off its planned interview with Speidi at the last minute, citing the ambiguous "schedule changes."

Spencer Pratt thinks he knows the real reason NBC pulled the plug, and responded like anyone would - Twittering a tirade of insults at Today's Al Roker.

There has been no confirmation that Roker's testy relationship with Pratt and Heidi Montag caused the cancellation, but Spencer took it quite personally.

From Roker's weight, to his overall appearance, to his marital history and relationship with his children, nothing about Speidi's nemesis was off limits.

Spencer may have gone over the line this time.

While you knew he would try to gain publicity from this somehow, he seems rather bitter. Here were Spencer Pratt's ridiculously uncalled-for Tweets to Al:

• "HEY WEATHERMAN I thought you were out of town today getting your stomach stapled again?"
• "You look very sick? Do you always look like your about to die? How old are you 97? You should retire asap - No one would even know?"
• "I heard you snitched on your own kids at school! I bet your kids HATE you!! I would if my dad came to my school and snitched me out"
• "Is it true you have been married 6 times? I'm sure all your wives left you when they realized you were abusive to women! Sicko!"

Yeesh. That goes a little beyond typical Speidi ribbing, right?

The NBC personality was silent on the topic Monday, but he wasn't the last time Speidi appeared on the show, triggering the couple's Al Roker feud.

Roker didn't take it lightly back in June, saying he would whomp Spencer in a fight and calling out Heidi Montag for her inability to answer questions.

Will he respond this time? Whose side are you on?

From Speidi and Al Roker squaring off on Today and in the press, to Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub nearly coming to blows, this week was chock full of quality celebrity feuds designed to entertain us.

Not to be outdone, Sarah Palin and David Letterman continued their war or words from last week before eventually reaching a detente, while Kate Gosselin delivered a nice spanking to daughter Leah and Stephanie Pratt eschewed nutrients.

Which was the best celebrity feud this week?

Heidi Montag may have already forgiven Al Roker for "attacking" her, but the war of words between the Today show weatherman and Speidi is not dead yet.

Yesterday, Roker said on Today that if Spencer Pratt had gotten physical during their contentious interview, he would have "dumped him like a bag of dirt."

Roker was addressing a comment Spencer made to TMZ in which the reality star claimed he would have "ripped his head off" during Monday's interview.

Would have, had he not been "saved by Jesus" a few weeks back, that is.

Man. Non-stop trash talk to celebrity gossip sites are one thing (and a good thing), but how much would you pay to see these two physically duke it out?

Also yesterday, Al Roker defended his allegedly harsh questioning of the gruesome twosome during the original interview, which sparked the Speidi feud.

"I believe I asked what a lot of people wanted to know," said Roker, who was in disbelief that Heidi Montag advised women to "be careful around him."

"C'mon. I've interviewed hundreds of women on this program, never had a complaint. [Heidi and Spencer] are so unused to people actually asking them a real question that they didn't know how to handle it," said the miffed Roker.

"There are a lot of celebrities who come on - real celebrities - who've actually done something and act civil."

Heidi and Spencer Pratt thought Today co-host Al Roker went too far Monday when asking if they were proud of her behavior on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

Their visit sparked a war of words and a full-on Speidi-Al Roker feud.

"This weather guy was definitely out of line. He should stick to predicting cloudy days," Heidi hilariously said. "Maybe someone rained on his little parade today."

Heidi Montag complained that Roker didn't thank them after the interview and made her cry after attacking her on national TV, saying he should learn manners.

"Please do not be rude to women in the future," she chastised Al. "Please do not be rude to me. Please watch your tone, especially if you have a mother or a wife or a daughter. I don't think that they would appreciate you talking to them like that."

Fortunately for Al Roker, the gruesome twosome is ready to bury the hatchet.

"I forgive you, you don't even have to ask," Heidi said. "It's OK. The devil gets into all of us sometimes. You're forgiven. It'll be a sunny day tomorrow, Weatherman!"

For his part, Roker sort of apologized via Twitter last night.

"Heidi and Spencer Pratt are young and eventually will realize there is more to life than fame," he write. "And by putting them on, we are playing into their evil plot for world domination. For that, I apologize. Mwuh ha ha ha ha."

When Spencer learned of Roker's apology, he said he was satisfied.

"At least he understands Speidi's goals now," he said.

Spencer and Heidi Pratt made an unlikely new enemy in Al Roker, who had the misfortune of interviewing the gruesome twosome on Monday's Today show.

The Hills stars were grilled on their recent stint on NBC's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, which they left for good after an extremely tumultuous week.

The once-portly weatherman couldn't hide his disdain.

After Heidi danced around a question of whether she was proud of her conduct on the show, Roker cut her off sternly: "No [the question is], are you proud of this?"

Al also told "villain" Spencer that most people think he's more like a "jerk."

After the interview, Roker continued to go off on Speidi via Twitter.

"Heidi and Spencer are an interesting couple. famous for... being infamous," he wrote. "Bad and vacuous behavior. I think we're at minute 11 of their 15."

Always one to make sure he gets the last word, Spencer Pratt hit back on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show this morning with this hilarious response:

"Was the weatherman asking questions? I thought we were getting interviewed by Matt Lauer. We were thrown off that the weatherman was even trying to talk to Speidi."

His wife also had some choice remarks.
