For Halloween, Matt Lauer dressed as Pamela Anderson.

This morning, conversely, The Today Show host went from pretending to be a woman to extolling the virtues of something very important for men: Regular prostate exams.

In order to raise awareness of prostate cancer and how simple it can be to check for, Lauer and Al Roker actually underwent a digital test on air.

No, the very personal aspects of this examination were not filmed. But a physician was featured speaking to the reporters after each went behind a closed door for his quick test and important information was passed along. Watch now:

As entertaining as it is when Roker films a selfie at a Drake concert, this segment was especially helpful and, hopefully, educational to many.

Well done, Today.

Al Roker continues to crack us up.

First, he stared into The Today Show camera for some reason in August. Then, he got Twerked upon by Paula Patton.

Now, the weatherman has made news once again by Tweeting a Vine selfie of himself at a recent Drake concert with his daughter.

It doesn't exactly look like Roker - who wrote in the Tweet that he's "officially too old" - is enjoying himself, at least not compared to the dude behind him... who is totally getting down to "Forever." Watch now:

What is it about Drake songs that make videos go viral?

Earlier this month, #StarbucksDrakeHands became a trending sensation after a creepy dude hit on a girl he just met this this amazing MMS message.

Paula Patton is making the media rounds and continuing to defend both her husband, Robin Thicke, and his VMA grinding partner, Miley Cyrus.

Following an appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live last night, the actress stopped by Today this morning and told anchors the same thing she told Andy Cohen:

What, exactly, did viewers expect from Miley?!?

"I don’t know what people thought Miley was going to do," Patton said. "Sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys? The song is about taking Molly!”

There was one difference between this interview and others Patton has given recently, however: she Twerked all up on Al Roker! Or at least she sort of tried to!

Watch Paula's moves and the weatherman's self-deprecating Today joke now:

Even Al Roker can't stand to watch The Today Show these days.

With ratings for this NBC staple shrinking by the day, everyone's favorite weatherman made history this morning: he overslept!

Roker subsequently missed his "Wake Up with Al” segment on The Weather Channel, but made it to the Today set in time to be mocked by his co-anchors.

“After 39 years, it happened. I overslept and missed a show. Missed #WUWA. But will be on time for @today,” Tweeted an embarrassed Roker at 5:41 a.m.

Of course, this is merely the second most embarrassment incident of Roker's career. In January, he admitted to once pooping his pants at The White House.

There's also been chatter in the past that Roker is trying to sabotage Today, but if 5:41 a.m. is over-sleeping, we can likely cut the guy some slack.

Note to Al Roker: you don't need to share everything about your life in an interview.

On Sunday's Deadline, the famous weatherman was discussing the effects of his gastric bypass surgery in March 2002.

"I probably went off and ate something I wasn't supposed to," he explained of one memorable incident at THE WHITE HOUSE.

"And as I'm walking to the press room, [I'm thinking] well, I gotta pass a little gas here... Only a little something extra came out. I pooped my pants."

Roker then went to the bathroom, threw out his underwear and went commando for the rest of the day.

This is certainly one way for Roker to divert attention from the floundering Today Show ratings.

But to paraphrase one of our favorite Anchorman quotes, Al may wanna sit out the next few plays.

Matt Lauer may have signed an 11-figure deal to remain lead anchor on The Today Show earlier this summer, but it's been anything but smooth sailing for the reporter since.

Many blame Lauer for the Ann Curry mess. The program is now regular destroyed by Good Morning America in the ratings. Al Roker appears to be poking fun at his coworkers on a regular basis.

And, yesterday, Today chose to air an interview with Kris Jenner instead of observing a 9/11-based moment of silence.

Where is Lauer's head these days as a result of such developments?

He tells TMZ that there's no beef with Roker and, sure, there's pressure for the show to succeed. But no more than usual

"We feel the heat every day," Lauer says. "But we have for the last 20 years that I've been there. We're just trying to do the best show we can do every single day ... and I think we're doing a good job right now ... and I think the cycle will reverse."

Are you still watching The Today Show?

First, he alleged that Matt Lauer threw Ann Curry under a bus.

Then, he randomly stared into the camera for 17 straight seconds (below).

So the question must be asked: what the heck is going on with Al Roker and The Today Show? Is the famous weatherman trying to sabotage his own program for the way it (mis)handled Curry's firing?

Roker addressed yesterday's strange staredown on this morning's edition of the series, trying to laugh it off, claiming it was a "brain freeze" and adding that the director was "egging him on."

Then, after Savannah Guthrie made a crack about how her colleague would fit in well at a wax museum, Roker seemingly took ANOTHER job at The Today Show, mumbling:

"Well, we are in a wax museum... whole other deal..."

What the heck is going on at The Today Show?

A couple days after Al Roker clearly took a shot at Matt Lauer for how he handled the firing of Ann Curry (despite NBC's denial), the beloved weatherman once again took it upon himself to make a few headlines during a segment.

This time, while Lauer and Savannah Guthrie slow-danced and then talked about the 35-year anniversary of Elvis Presley dying, Roker made a silly face and simply stared into the camera... and stared... and stared... and stared.

Perhaps producers think the program can top Good Morning America in the ratings game by challenging its viewers to a staring contest once per week. Watch the shenanigans unfold now:

Matt Lauer, you've been served. By your very own co-worker.

During a segment on The Today Show this morning, Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie were interviewing a few Olympic rowers when the topic turned to the latter's post-race traditions, which include tossing teammates into the water. Joked the host:

"The tradition here in New York is you throw her in the Hudson River."

Roker then jumped in with: "Which is different than OUR tradition ... which is you throw one of us under the bus, but that’s another story."

The anchors laughed, but everyone must have been aware of Roker's reference: Lauer is considered the main reason why Ann Curry was unceremoniously fired from her Today Show post earlier this summer.

Oh, to have been a fly on the set wall when the show went to commercial.

Bryant Gumbel and Al Roker – friends and Today colleagues of Matt Lauer – say the TV anchor and his wife Annette Roque seem fine ... and to back off!

Echoing the couple's own angry denials of a breakup, Gumbel said: "Nobody likes being under a microscope, even in the best of times. It's not pleasant."

"I think they're doing fine. They just stay away from the glare."

Gumbel's wife Hilary also spoke in support of the Lauers: "They've made their rebuttal [to the accusations] ... They've done what they needed to do."

Lauer was said to be having an affair, and Alexis Houston (alleged sister of Whitney) was alleged to be the other woman involved in the scandal.

Today weatherman Al Roker says he doesn't believe rumors.

Matt, Annette Lauer

Matt and Annette Lauer have denied cheating allegations.

"All I know is that he's great," Roker said. "I've seen him. They're fine. It's more about things on the outside. Everything on the inside is fine."

Matt Lauer and his wife, married since 1998, blasted a report alleging that Lauer had moved out of the family's apartment amid reports of infidelity.

According to the report, the sexy beast was also looking for his own bachelor pad. He told People last week that the story was "a work of fiction."

While acknowledging vaguely the imperfections in his marriage, Lauer denied the details of the report and says everything is fine with Annette.

We hope so. The couple has three kids under the age of 10.
