Kelly Clarkson revealed at the 2013 ACM Awards Sunday night that her wedding to Brandon Blackstock will feature a well-known officiant: Blake Shelton!

The original American Idol, 30, told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell that The Voice mentor will not just attend the nuptials, but conduct the wedding itself.

Kelly, Blake and Brandon go back a long way. Shelton says he had a huge hand in making sure Clarkson's fiance popped the question in a timely manner.

"I told Brandon, man, you need to grow up and figure out that you need to marry this girl," he told the site at the time. "I am going on the record here."

Luke Bryan won Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night, and no one was more surprised by this than Luke himself.

Bryan upset Miranda Lambert and her husband Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and two-time Entertainer of the Year Taylor Swift to claim the top prize.

The 36-year-old Georgia native, who is relatively new to the spotlight, recently began headlining his first arena tour, making his win a shock to many.

"I don't know what to say guys," Bryan said. "Thank you so much, fans, for doing this to me. Thank you so much for making my life what it is."

Miranda Lambert didn't just earn the Female Vocalist of the Year at last night's Academy of Country Music Awards.

She earned a special place in our hearts for an emotional, humble speech in which the superstar said Carrie Underwood "damn well" deserved the honor instead.

"Last night, a huge dream of mine came true," Lambert added while choking back tears. "I went from being a little girl singing in a hairbrush to watching Shania Twain with Faith Hill and Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson. I cried all night because I’ll never not be a fan of those beautiful women."

The Academy of Country Music Awards were taken over by a pair of American Idol champions last night.

As previously posted, a very blonde Kelly Clarkson performed "Don't Rush" at the annual event, while twice-nominated Carrie Underwood also took to the CBS stage.

Surprisingly, Underwood did not win for either Female Vocalist of the Year or Album of the Year, but she didn't leave viewers disappointed. Come on... does she ever?!?

She's a little pop and, also, a little country.

And Kelly Clarkson proved herself as the latter last night, taking the Academy of Country Music Awards stage for a performance of "Don't Rush."

Clarkson arrived at the event with royalty from this genre, walking the red carpet with future mother-in-law Reba McEntire, the stepmom of fiance Brandon Blackstock.

Also Sunday night, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban teamed up for "Highway Don't Care."

A trio of music superstars joined forces at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Taylor Swift took to the stage at the event alongside Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, as the artists teamed up for a rendition of "Highway Don't Care," a track included on McGraw's latest album.

All three of these singers were shut out of the winning circle at the ACMs, but at least they left us with a memorable performance.

The 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards were handed out Sunday, and everything went according to script until a stunning upset at the very end.

Luke Bryan won Entertainer of the Year, to the surprise of everyone.

In a turn of events few would have predicted because of his relatively recent move into the spotlight. Bryan immediately became the event's top story.

Elsewhere, the top winner was Miranda Lambert, while her husband Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and Eric Church also stepped into the winner's circle.

Carrie Underwood kicked off Sunday night's Academy of Country Music Awards with a big blast of rock 'n' roll, showing her vocal chops in belting out "Good Girl."

Her sexy black and magenta mini-dress was a nice touch too.

To those looking for a lot of traditional twang out of the country gala, Carrie's song was something of a warning shot ... this is 21st century country music.

The ACMs are very much a celebration of what the genre has become, with arena rockers (Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean) and a wave of 20-something upstarts incorporating different sounds into the genre (Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum).

Scotty McCreery took home the Academy of Country Music Award last night for New Artist of the Year, proving once again that American Idol really does crank out successful musicians.

But can the young crooner fend off a challenge here from Luke Bryan? That singer is coming at Scotty hard in the following Fashion Face-Off, just one day after firing up the ACM crowd on stage with a rendition of "I Don't Want This Night to End," the second single off his 2011 album "Tailgates and Tanlines."
