Well, it happened again.

No, Jennifer Lawrence did not win an Academy Award this year. She lost Best Supporting Actress to Lupita Nyong'o of 12 Years a Slave.

But the star was getting out of her car in front of the red carpet last night when she tripped and fell over a cone.

You'll recall that Lawrence also fell at last year's ceremony as she was walking up to accept the trophy for Best Actress.

The 2014 Academy Awards, and the list of winners, are forever enshrined in movie history. Who achieved film's version of immortality Sunday night?

It was a big night for Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave, which was named Best Picture at the ceremony, and also for Gravity, which won seven awards in all.

12 Years a Slave, which earned nine total Oscar nominations, also won for Best Supporting Actress (Lupita Nyong'o, pictured) and Best Screenplay (John Ridley).

In addition to Nyong'o, acting winners included Best Actor Matthew McConaughey (for Dallas Buyers Club) and Cate Blanchett, Best Actress for Blue Jasmine.

She received a standing ovation upon accepting, thanking her competitors in the film category as well as Woody Allen, her controversial writer-director.

Finally, Jared Leto took home the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club, in which he played Rayon, a transgender woman suffering from AIDS.

There's Matthew McConaughey, who has officially shed his romantic comedy reputation and who also shed 40 pounds for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.

There's Leonardo DiCaprio, who had us believing he really was snorting cocaine in The Wolf of Wall Street.

Bruce Dern tugged at our heartstrings in Nebraska, Christian Bale cracked us up in American Hustled (that hair!) and Chiwetel Ejiofor made us cry in 12 Years a Slave.
