If you missed the Oscars Sunday, or simply enjoy animated GIF files, we're here to sum up a mostly boring, insanely long telecast in a short, entertaining slideshow!

Seriously. We need to mandate that Jennifer Lawrence be on screen more.

You know the three-hour-plus event is packed with filler when the master of ceremonies makes an entire bit out of ordering pizza for star-studded audience.

Kudos to Ellen for that, and for handling her hosting duties so well overall.

Obviously, Ellen DeGeneres' selfie was a memorable moment, as was Jennifer Lawrence falling and Pharrell dancing with A-listers galore (Meryl Streep got DOWN!).

Relive those and other highlights from the 2014 Academy Awards below:

Take solace, Jennifer Lawrence.

You may have fallen at the Academy Awards for the second consecutive year, but you did not make biggest blunder at last night's ceremony.

Far from it in, fact.

John Travolta took to the stage at one point during the event and introduced Broadway star Idina Menzel to sing the Oscar-nominated track "Let It Go" from Frozen.

Except somehow, some way, Travolta pronounced the artist's name as "Adele Dazim." Watch the epic gaffe now:

Fortunately, Travolta's mistake did not affect Menzel's performance in any way.

What stood out the most to you from the 2014 Academy Awards?

Was it the Oscars fashion? The Ellen DeGeneres selfie that nearly broke Twitter? The fact that Jennifer Lawrence fell again at the event?

The actual winners, which included Cate Blanchett, Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o?

Or was it the musical performances, which ranged from Bette Midler bringing a tear to everyone's eyes to Pharrell William bringing everyone out of their seats to get "Happy?"

Relive these memorable music moments now:

The late Cory Monteith and other stars were notably absent from the 2014 Academy Awards' In Memoriam segment last night, sparking debate among fans.

A moving tribute paid homage to stars such as Paul Walker, Shirley Temple, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and James Gandolfini, but omitted other big names.

Bette Midler made her Oscars singing debut during the segment, performing "Wind Beneath My Wings" as a montage of stars we lost flashed on screen.

Notably left off the list were Cory Monteith, Dennis Farina, Jonathan Winters, Dennis Farina, Tom Clancy and Sarah Jones, a camerawoman who recently died.

This isn't the first such snub; Farrah Fawcett and Corey Haim were not mentioned during the In Memoriam segment of the Oscars in previous years.

Do you think Cory Monteith and the other omitted names deserved to be included? Why do you suppose that some made the cut and others did not?

Sound off in the comments below ...

Oscar winner Jared Leto turned in an impressive performance in Dallas Buyers Club, but this photobomb last night might be even more worthy of acclaim.

Leto, 42, creeped on Ireland Baldwin's selfie with House of Cards star Kevin Spacey and Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O'Dell in hilarious fashion:

Jared Leto Photobomb

The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman, who won Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 Academy Awards, got a shout-out from Ellen DeGeneres for his pretty face.

That face was not on display here, as he injected himself into Baldwin's photo between Spacey and O'Dell's heads, making the goofiest expression possible.

Pretty incredible timing by Jared, setting the bar high for Jennifer Lawrence to try and top next time around. Which you know she will 'cause she's awesome.

Side note: You may want to lay off the self-tanner, Nancy.

Just a thought. Maybe it's just us. Check out more selfies, videobombs and other memorable moments from the Oscars in the slideshow after the jump!

Chrissy Teigen was live Tweeting the 2014 Academy Awards last night when she got a little too excited at the prospect of Angelina Jolie on the red carpet.

So excited, she literally crapped herself ... or so she wrote by accident on Twitter.

Instead of "body shutting down," Chrissy wrote "body sh-tting down" ... which she received backlash for and then decided to run with because she's like that.

Her fans also got in on the action too. Check out the series of crappy Tweets:

Body S--tting Down
Classic typo. Classic Chrissy Teigen.

Yet another reason we love John Legend's wife. So funny. So unfiltered.

Leave it to Chrissy to liven up the 2014 Oscars on social media. Ellen and Jennifer might want to team up with Teigen for some tandem hosting in the future.

While we're on the topic of the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl, here are 13 more reasons (read: Chrissy Teigen bikini photos) we love her!

12 Years a Slave won Best Picture.

Cate Blanchett won Best Actress and thanked Woody Allen in her speech.

Jennifer Lawrence fell again.

But who really cares?!? The 2014 Academy Awards, like all other events of this nature, came down to one simple question: Who wore what?!?

We answer that inquiry below, as you can sit back and click through the best and worst dressed from this year's Oscars red carpet:

Ellen DeGeneres was back as host of the 2014 Academy Awards, seven years after she first did the honors, and left many viewers hoping for a 2015 encore.

DeGeneres didn't appear in any sort of pre-produced skit to kick off her monologue. Instead, simply just brought the funny, starting with her very first line.

"For those of you watching around the world, it has been a tough couple of days for us here. It has been raining. We're fine. Thank you for your prayers."

DeGeneres couldn't resist some quality digs at Hollywood, calling out Liza Minelli, telling the legendary performer that she made for a convincing drag queen.

"Good job, sir," the host quipped.

Ellen gave a shout-out to Jennifer Lawrence falling, telling the Best Supporting Actress nominee, "If you win tonight, I think we should bring you the Oscar.

Kim Novak made a rare public appearance last night

The actress, best known for her role in Alfred Hitchcock's 1968 classic Vertigo, presented Best Animated Short Film and Best Animated Feature Film alongside Matthew McConaughey at the 2014 Academy Awards.

But no one was talking about the winners afterward, or even the hunk by Novak's side.

All Twitter could focus on was this star's unusual appearance.

Due to her plump cheeks, high eyebrows and stretched lips, social media was abuzz with jokes at Novak's expense.

Ellen DeGeneres made history last night at the Oscars ... with this selfie, which was retweeted more than any other photo in the history of Twitter, BY FAR.

Taking a look at it below, you can sort of see why:

Ellen DeGeneres Oscar Selfie

Ellen's Oscar selfie quickly eclipsed Barack Obama’s historic "four more years" re-election tweet en route to nearly three times as many retweets (2,089,000).

The President's photo of himself embracing wife Michelle garnered just 780,000 after the 2012 presidential election results were made official. So weak.

Of course, Twitter use has been growing since then; the network is 30 percent bigger than during Obama’s epic hug. Also, he only won 51 percent of the vote!

Celebrity love-fests, on the flip side, appeal to Republicans and Democrats alike. Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey and Bradley Cooper are in the pic!

There's also America's Sweetheart. If Jennifer Lawrence falling at the Oscars goes viral, so will Jennifer Lawrence looking adorable next to a beaming Ellen.

She deserves a special place among the 2014 Academy Award winners, for sure. Speaking of which ... the GIFs below could probably get 1 million too ...
