Halle Berry and Natalie Portman belong to an exclusive club.

No, we aren't referring to Best Actress winners, although Portman did take home that trophy at last night's Academy Awards and Berry did the same in 2001.

But those honors are nothing compared to the inclusion of these beauties in a THG Fashion Face-Off. Below, we've posted photos of both Halle and Natalie on the red carpet. Whose dress do you prefer? Who pulled off her look better?

Don't be afraid to vote, people. Berry is likely just happy we're talking about something other than her custody battle...

And the Oscar goes to ...

The King's Speech. Other films too, of course, but it was a royal victory for the picture about King George VI, which won Best Picture, and Best Actor Colin Firth.

Director Tom Hooper and Screenplay writer David Seidler also triumphed for the film. Natalie Portman, as the troubled dancer in Black Swan, won Best Actress.

The four big winners at the 2011 Oscars.

"This is insane," she said in her acceptance speech. "I truly, sincerely wish the prize tonight was to work with my fellow nominees. I am in such awe of you."

The Fighter's Melissa Leo and Christian Bale won Supporting Actress and Actor. The technical awards were monopolized by Inception and Alice in Wonderland.

Think it's easy to host the Academy Awards?

There's a reason why the show has burned through so many emcees over the last couple decades, with such stalwarts as David Letterman and Jon Stewart failing to meet expectations in the eyes of many.

Is it due to the difficulty of entertaining such a wide swath of A-listers? No. It's due to the intense training required by those in charge of the ceremony, as evidenced by these videos. Just look at what Anne Hathaway and James Franco are going through in preparation for their big day:

If Anne Hathaway wears what she donned for a recent EW photo shoot at next year's Academy Awards, we think the following news is nothing short of exhilarating:

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has confirmed its offer to these stars, with producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer saying:

"James Franco and Anne Hathaway personify the next generation of Hollywood icons - fresh, exciting and multi-talented. We hope to create an Oscar broadcast that will both showcase their incredible talents and entertain the world."

Both actors are starring in new films, with Franco considered a front-runner for Best Actor based on his portrayal of Aron Ralston in 127 Hours.

With Hathaway and Franco officially accepting the honor, it will mark the first time in history a pair of current, mainstream movie stars host the ceremony. What do you think of this choice?

Thanks to Betty White, the May 8 edition of Saturday Night Live posted the show's highest ratings in 18 months.

That hilarious hosting gig came about as the result of a passionate group of White supporters on Facebook, who created a group that pressured NBC to consider the actress.

Now, fans of White are at it again: the Facebook page "Getting Betty White to Host the Academy Awards” has amassed over 6,000 followers since launching Sunday night.

Not shabby support for an 88-year old former sitcom star. But will it enough to land her the job?

Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin served as co-hosts of last year's ceremony. Though each made us laugh a bunch of times, let's be honest: Oscar fashion has become a hotter topic than anything related to the ceremony itself.

Choosing White as next year's MC would go a long way toward changing that.

Do you think this is a good idea? Should Betty White host the Academy Awards?

The red carpet of the Academy Awards was not the only place last night to laugh at Zoe Saldana or drool over Taylor Lautner.

Following the ceremony, anyone who is anyone - and even anyone who is slowly becoming no one (hi, Jessica Simpson!) - stopped by the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

From award winners to former American Idol finalists, we've posted photos of the stars at this annual shindig below. Click on each to enlarge...

When it came to the major Academy Awards, Avatar was shut out last night.

But the movie didn't go home as a total loser: Zoe Saldana earned The Hollywood Gossip's annual Worst Dressed (dis)honor for the frock she donned below.

Hideous from the front and the back, Saldana is lucky she has a pretty face, considerable talent and the highest-grossing film in history on her acting resume. Because she'll never make it as a fashion connoisseur.

With apologies to Charlie Theron's regrettable dress, this was the ugliest of the ugly on the red carpet...

Sandra Bullock and Mo'Nique were among last night's Oscar winners.

But which of the two talented actresses was the big fashion winner?

Sandra, who won Best Actress for The Blind Side, to the surprise of no one, followed the lead of Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet with a sparkling, silver dress.

Mo'Nique, who took home Best Supporting Actress for Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire, was feeling anything but blue in a gown of that color.

Who looked better at the Oscars?

Our previous Oscar night style showdown pitted Meryl Streep and Charlize Theron against each other. This face-off might be a more difficult choice for fans.

Needless to say, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet are both stunning blondes, and needless to say, both looked stunning in silver last night, albeit differently.

Cameron's dress sparkled, literally, while Kate's epitomized traditional class.

Hard to go wrong either way, but which of the stars' stylish silver dresses do you think looked better on her at the Academy Awards? Vote below!
