Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff are sexy, single and partners on Dancing with the Stars.

So they must be getting it on, right? Wrong, Carter says.

“It’s really funny,” Smirnoff told People. “The rumors are that we are hooking up, but then we’re not sexy enough on the dance floor [according to head judge Len Goodman]? Let me tell you, if that was the case, the dance would have been very raunchy, as Len wanted it to be."

It's true. The pair only scored 18 points last night.

Added Carter: “We have a lot of respect for each other and I have a lot of respect for her. She’s a lady and I’m going to treat her like that. She just went through a breakup so it’s important to respect her.”

Late this summer, Smirnoff and fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy split up. It's been a difficult recovery period, she said.

“If Aaron wasn’t by my side, kind of being there, a shoulder to lean on, I don’t think it would’ve been possible to get through it. He reminds me that I do what I love: dancing. And he’s always happy, always smiling, saying, ‘Come on, girl! You can do this!’ I tip my hat off to Aaron for being as strong as he is.”

She may tip her hat to Carter, but she's never played "Just the Tip" with him. Big difference there.

Now, it turns out that Nick Carter's little brother also has an affection for Mary Jane!

Aaron was arrested yesterday in Kimble County, Texas with at least two ounces of marijuana. TMZ has confirmed Aaron was pulled over on I-10 for speeding. When police searched his vehicle, they found enough pot to make Matthew McConaughey jealous.

Aaron will be arraigned later today.

Aaron Carter better hope he comes across this tough in prison. We can only imagine what happens to boy band singers behind bars...

We recently reported that lovesick teen Aaron Carter boasted about being madly in love. Apparently now he's out to prove it.

Carter and his girlfriend of an entire week, Kaci Brown, were frolicking on Venice Beach yesterday, kissing, hugging and rolling around in the sand for nearly an hour. Too bad they weren't alone for all that long; Aaron's twin sister, Angel, and a friend showed up later in the day. Damn, son. You got cock-blocked by your own sister!

In any case, this PDA - while fairly decent - has absolutely nothing on some of the previous celebrity public displays of affection in 2006. Such as...

1. ... When we spotted Brody Jenner and Kristin Cavallari in a similarly sandy embrace. Oh, those were the good ol' days, when those two were pawing each other.
2. ... When the embattled, but still-reigning Miss USA, Tara Conner, reportedly gets a little tipsy and kisses Miss Teen USA. While we have yet to see pictures of Conner and Katie Blair hooking up, we couldn't leave it off this list - and are hopeful it happens again soon.
3. ... Paris and Nicky Hilton's bizarre antics in the back of a stretch limo. Okay, so there was no real girl-on-girl action going on (we don't think), but still. Those are some, um, interesting pictures.
4. ... By far the best of the year, courtesy of PeteMoss - sorry, Aaron, you just can't compete with Pete and Kate's dry-humping horniness on the lawn... of a drug rehab clinic.

A lot can happen to Aaron Carter in one week.

The young singer was recently engaged for that period of time before calling off the wedding to Keri Ann Peniche.

Now, the House of Carters star has taken an entire seven days to fall head over heels for another foxy lady: Kaci Brown.

Carter, who turned 19 on December 7, celebrated his birthday Friday night at Shag in Hollywood with his twin sister, Angel. Brown, who opened for the Backstreet Boys during their 2005 summer tour, was on his arm. And in his heart.

"Now I'm in a great relationship. I've only known her for, like, seven days, but I have a connection with her that's like nothing else I've ever experienced," he told People magazine. "It's really amazing."

It sure is. This man bounces back faster than Britney Spears with J.R. Rotem.

Brown is a good friend of Angel's. Now that he's older - a whole 19 years old, in fact! - and wiser, Carter says he's learned a lesson or two about love.

"There's a lot of things I'm gonna change â€" me for one," he said. "Love shouldn't be about jealousy or anything like that. It should be about commitment and being able to trust that person. If you can't have that from the get-go, there's a problem. When it comes to relationships, I think I'm pretty experienced â€" you'd be surprised."

Hey, Aaron, considering that your brother, Nick Carter, supposedly slept with Paris Hilton and Ashlee Simpson, nothing about your family would surprise us at this point.

This could get ugly - and not just because Jack Osbourne is involved.

But the son of Ozzie and Sharon should have expected retribution when he dared to go criticize Aaron Carter for "pretending to be black" in the reality show, House of Carters.

Now, Aaron has shot back. In response to Osbourne saying he could"kick the s**t out of" him, Carter said:

"He's welcome to try to kick the s**t out of me any time he likes. I normally love Brits, but this guy's brain-dead. He comes across as the biggest brat of them all on his show."

But Aaron does love British people, Pete Doherty, so you can relax now. And maybe peddle some clothing his way.

Meanwhile, Nick Carter weighed in on his brother's feud:

"What Jack Osbourne knows about talent would barely fit on a postage stamp."

As an aside, he added that what he knows about Ashlee Simpson would barely fit on the wall of any men's room. But that hasn't stopped him from trying to write it.

Looks like Kevin Federline isn't the only talentless excuse for a musician to have mingled with wrestlers this weekend.

At the recent WWE taping, a pair of blonde brothers may not have been body-slammed inside the ring, but they still showed up and sucked like only they can.

We speak, naturally, of Aaron Carter and Nick Carter.

There's no word on whether or not Aaron asked some fan to marry him and then canceled the engagement, as he tends to do; or whether Nick made up more stories about Ashlee Simpson.

A week after announcing his future marriage to former Playmate, Keri Ann Peniche, the young singer has called it off.

"It was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet," Carter, 18, said.

We can't believe we're saying this, but: well done, Aaron. You seem to have reached a mature decision, following a rather impromptu decision. Other stars should follow your example and see they aren't ready for nuptials.

Warning to Aaron Carter: Don't end up like Saddam Hussein Alec Baldwin.

The older, divorced actor may wish to give this much younger singer some advice, now that Carter has proposed to girlfriend, Kari Ann Peniche. The proverbial question was popped on stage in Las Vegas last night.

Now, the younger brother of Nick from the Backstreet Boys is hoping not to end up like Bobby Brown ... or any other dude who is taken for a ride by his wife.

The couple reportedly plans to wed in the next six months.

Peniche, 22, was named Miss United States Teen in 2003, but had her crown revoked after she posed for Playboy. That seems a bit harsh. Just look at these Paris Hilton pictures - does she now lose the title of Sluttiest Hotel Heiress?

Of course not.

Carter, 18, is the youngest solo male singer to have four Top 40 singles. "House of Carters," a reality show about his life with Nick and their three sisters, premieres next month on E!.

It should bode well for the engagement. After all, reality shows always never end in divorce.
