50 Cent Gossip

50 Cent Owns Shaniqua Tompkins

Did 50 Cent really try to burn down the house where Marquise - his 11-year-old son, resided? Did Marquise's mom kidnap him and hold him against 50's will?

These questions remain very much unclear.

What's perfectly clear, though, is that the rapper purchased the rights to his baby mama's life story. You know, so Shaniqua Tompkins, mother of Marquise, can't publish any tell-all books about him in the future.

50 Cent has confirmed this, addressing it in a statement: “I bought the rights to her life story so she couldn’t write a book. I seen her being ridiculous; I knew her capabilities of going in that direction, so I bought the rights.”

Don't ask us how one goes about purchasing the rights to a person’s life story ... especially of someone most people don’t know, let alone care about at all.

We only see one problem with 50's masterminding:

This does stop her from writing a fictional, O.J. Simpson-like account of how some made-up rapper named "49 Cent" burned down the house of "Taniqua Shompkins" on Long Island, with her inside. Think about it.

Of course, that assumes Shaniqua Tompkins is even literate. Never mind.

50 Cent: Shaniqua Tompkins Kidnapped Marquise

Continuing to trade barbs, allegations and lawsuits with his estranged baby mama, 50 Cent says Shaniqua Tompkins is holding their son hostage.

Fiddy and Shaniqua have been at each other's throats ever since that fire that destroyed the house the rapper bought for her and Marquise.

But now Mr. Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, is telling Sister 2 Sister magazine that Marquise has been kidnapped by Shaniqua Tompkins.

He also tells the magazine - which apparently exists - that he paid $60,000 to have an independent teacher home-school Marquise.

50 Cent sort of won the most recent round of their custody battle, but we'll have to see what developments this afternoon brings.

50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins have created one son and dozens of lawsuits.

50 Cent to Bust Legal Cap in Taco Bell

Yes, you read that correctly.

He's always involved in some litigation, be it against Shaniqua Tompkins or a major fast food chain. Today, 50 Cent has sued Taco Bell, claiming that the company used his name without permission in recent advertising.

The rapper says, in a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday, that Taco Bell features him in a print ad campaign in which the company facetiously asks the human flak jacket to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent.

His real name is Curtis Jackson. Hard. Core.

50 Cent to Taco Bell: Yo quiero $4 million!

The rapper's court papers say the ad is part of Taco Bell's "Why Pay More?" campaign, which promotes items for under a dollar such as Cinnamon Twists for 79 cents, Crunchy Tacos for 89 cents and Bean Burritos for 99 cents.

Peter D. Raymond, the hardest working lawyer in show biz, said his client didn't learn about the letter or that he was featured in the ads until he saw a news report about it. On a side note, props to Fiddy for watching the news!

Raymond said 50 Cent is seeking $4 million in damages. Maybe he can parlay that into his legal bills stemming from the whole house-burning fiasco.

50 Cent Sort of Wins Custody Battle

Shaniqua Tompkins, step off! Rapper / human flak jacket 50 Cent got what he wanted in the latest chapter of his baby mama drama - kind of.

A Long Island judge has granted him an unrestricted visit from August 3-12 with Marquise, his son with former girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins.

Celebrity news sources say both parties had to submit to drug tests at the courthouse before the judge would even discuss it.

50 was clean. Shaniqua tested positive for crack cough meds.

In court, she claimed 50 is keeping her from using her Land Rover SUV by keeping guards at the site of his house - engulfed by flames in June.

She says he burned it down. He denies that's the case.

"She wants Marquise to have access with his father, but with safety precautions in place," said Paul Catsandonis, Tompkins' attorney.Continue Reading...

Shaniqua Tompkins Calls Shenanigans on 50 Cent Lawyer

50 Cent's baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins wants 50's lawyer off their case - because, according to her, that guy knows her legal strategy!

According to TMZ, Shaniqua has huddled with 50 Cent's lawyer, Brett Kimmel, in the past - before the custody battle over their son, Marquise, began.

Today, her lawyer's going to ask a Manhattan judge to boot Kimmel as 50's counsel because she says there's a clear conflict of interest.

Obviously, 50 Cent disagrees. Hopefully he won't cap Shaniqua, or burn down his own house in an attempt to kill her, as she alleges he once did.

50 Cent, Shaniqua Tompkins

Tompkins also will try and block Mr. Cent from getting insurance money from the house she says he set fire to. 50 has adamantly denied this ever happened.

In fact, Shaniqua Tompkins got served with a $20 million defamation suit by the rapper also known as Curtis Jackson in response. Take that, shawwwty.

Brent Kimmel couldn't be reached for comment. In other Kimmel news, Jimmy broke up with girlfriend Sarah Silverman yesterday. Quite sad.

50 Cent to Shaniqua Tompkins: You Got Served!

50 Cent's ex-baby mama, Shaniqua Tompkins, got a restraining order this morning against the rapper - then got served with a huge-ass lawsuit.

Lawyers for 50 Cent took it to Shaniqua Tompkins, slapping her upside the head with a $20 million defamation suit in Connecticut court.

The suit was filed against Tompkins for accusing Fiddy - over and over again - of burning down his own house as well as trying to kill her.

Not only that, 50 wants the court to force Shaniqua to let him visit their 11-year-old son, Marquise, in accordance with an earlier order.

Shaniqua Tompkins also says 50 Cent tried to kill Marquise, naturally.

Both 50 Cent and Shaniqua will appear in a New York courtroom in July to sort it all out, providing neither is assassinated prior to that.

The arson investigation in the fire that torched da crib is ongoing.

Judge to 50 Cent: Don't Sell Da Crib

A judge ruled yesterday that 50 Cent he can't sell, unload or otherwise get rid of what used to be his $2 million crib in Long Island.

Not until they figure out what caused the fire that burned it down.

The rapper has also been ordered to put any insurance money he gets from the toasted house in a trust account - for now.

That is, until his fight with Shaniqua Tompkins is resolved.

Shaniqua Tompkins, 50 Cent

The ex-girlfriend / baby mama of 50 Cent is accusing the rapper of "breach of contract and unjust enrichment." He supposedly broke a promise to give Shaniqua Tompkins and their son Marquise the house.

After the hearing, Tompkins maintained that the house was still hers, but didn't go so far as to blame 50 Cent for torching the place.

Shaniqua Tompkins Sues Rapper, Wants More Than 50 Cents

Shaniqua Tomkins, 50 Cent's baby's mama, has filed a new lawsuit against the rapper.

According to our bitter rival, Perez Hilton, she's accusing the rapper of "breach of contract and unjust enrichment." He supposedly broke a promise to give Tomkins and their son Marquise a house.

Fiddy Cent

"This was a house that was promised to Shaniqua up until the closing," said Tomkins' lawyer Paul Catsandonis, ignoring the fact that Tomkins already receives thousands a month from 50 Cent in child support. "Then he decided not to put it in her name. Now he's trying to put her out of the house. This would mean evicting his own son."

Celebrities Implicated in Steroid Scandal

Curtis JacksonA slew of celebrities, many of them from the world of hip hop, have been implicated in an enormous steroid scandal that makes the rear end on Kim Kardashian look small.

According to The Times Union of Albany, the following names have been linked to the performance enhancing drug bust:

  • 50 Cent
  • Tyler Perry
  • Mary J. Blige
  • Timbaland
  • Wyclef Jean
  • Sylvestor Stallone

Now, we've seen a few minutes of Tyler Perry's House of Payne - and if the dude is on drugs, they certainly aren't enhancing the performance of this awful sitcom.

The newspaper cites information from "several cooperating witnesses" in the investigation, stating:

"Blige and other stars were shipped prescribed human growth hormone or steroids - sometimes under fictitious names - at hotels, productions studios, private residences, an upscale Manhattan fitness club and through the Long Island office of Michael Diamond, a chiropractor affiliated with the celebrities."

However, the article also reads: "Law enforcement officials have said they have no evidence in their sprawling multi-state probe that customers, including Blige or other entertainers, violated any laws."
