With the arrival of Baby Dilly still six months away Jill Duggar and Derrick Dillard have created their baby registry so that family and friends can start helping them stock up on the essentials.

You know, stuff like clothes, diapers, and... Dr. Pepper?

Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard have some lunch at work. So cute.

Yes, Jill and Derick's request for caffeinated soda raised some eyebrows, but the mom-to-be assured her fans that the sugary drinks are not for their future bundle of joy.

"Derick said we should put Dr. Pepper on there," Jill said in a recent interview. "Because if you have late nights, you need caffeine."

"I told him I like Fanta, so he put that on there as well. And some Gatorade."

See? Perfectly reasonable explanation. Hopefully at some point Jill will take a sip or two of some actual water, but as long as she puts off any heavy caffeine consumption until after the baby is born, everything should be fine.

We just wouldn't want to see Baby Dilly pop out with a raging Fanta habit.

For Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, life has officially come full circle.

On 19 Kids and Counting Season 8 Episode 4, Jill Duggar went shopping for wedding rings with fiance Derick Dillard, and Michelle knew the place well.

She and Jim Bob went to that same place, 30-some years ago.

Jill and Derick got married at the same church where her parents tied the knot in Arkansas, so it's bringing back all sorts of memories for the older couple.

Bittersweet is a good word for how Jim Bob feels, as he's having a hard time letting go of his daughter. Emotionally, anyway. He does love Derick.

No matter how much he approves and how supportive it is, it's hard for a tight-knit family like this to come to terms with Jill leaving the nest. But it's life.

Make no mistake, for all the Duggar dating rules and things none of us can relate to about their lives, Jim Bob's instinct is to make his kids happy.

Never was this more obvious than when he lobbied to have Jessa Duggar's boyfriend Ben Seewald, who lived four hours away, move closer to them.

Like, a lot closer to them. Think ON THE COMPOUND!

She's still in her first trimester, but Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard spent the weekend getting ready for the arrival of their first child ... by setting up a registry!

"Having fun creating our baby registry!" Dillard, 25, wrote alongside a photo of them scanning items. "Looking forward to 'Baby Dilly's' arrival in just 6 months!"

  • Derick and Jill Make a Registry
  • Mr. & Mrs. Derick Dillard

Like Jill and Derick's wedding registry, the proud future parents actually have multiple, and they're not fancy. This is a no-frills couple, TLC fame be darned.

So far, the Dillards have requested a three-piece crib bed set with a vintage floral print, pacifiers and bibs emblazoned with Arkansas Razorbacks logos.

Standard stuff right there.

They also want a video monitor, which should make it easier than ever for them to take photos of #BabyDilly sleeping for their respective Instagram pages.

And, of course, the pregnant Jill Duggar posted an Instagram picture of herself on her husband's lap, asking about "cloth diapers when 'Baby Dilly' arrives."

"Any suggestions?"

The photos come after we got a close-up look at Jessa Duggar's engagement ring, a .75 carat diamond with an 18 karat gold band, via her Instagram.

Duggar, 21, got engaged to Ben Seewald, 19, after 11 months of dating.

Or courting, as the lovebirds would obviously correct you and term it.

Either way, "We are so blessed to be engaged!" the couple gushed.

"God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun! We are thrilled to see what the future holds - especially the wedding bells!"

Jill Duggar says she was surprised to learn that she was expecting last month, having taken two negative pregnancy tests prior to getting a positive reading.

"I was thinking that maybe we should take a pregnancy test," recalls the 19 Kids and Counting star and wife of Derick Dillard, 23, after her period was late.

She began with two pregnancy tests that "were both negative" she says, but when the results for test #3 arrived, the newlyweds were shocked.

"We were really surprised when we got that positive test," Duggar says, "but of course we were really excited." As for why they even took a third test?

"It was Jinger," Jill says of one of her 20-year-old sister, the first person to learn of her pregnancy. "She was like, 'You know, mama has a bunch of tests upstairs.'"

Jill laughed off the idea, but then decided to try it to prove Jinger wrong. Derick was also present when Jill took the test, sharing in the elated shock.

"I was screaming and everything," she laughs. "He was like, 'Don't get too excited! You might stress out the baby or something.' He's so cute. He's so sweet."

On 19 Kids and Counting Season 8 Episode 2 and 3, the Duggar daughters' dating lives were examined. Or to use the proper terminology, their courting lives.

One of the Duggar family dating/courting rules is that couples be chaperoned, which means Jessa's siblings tag along on dates with her and Ben Seewald.

We saw the downside of this on 19 Kids and Counting Season 8 Episode 2, and not merely because the kids will prevent any possible making out.

When they take his truck, there's not even a third seat! That's a tight squeeze, but you'll never forget the chaperone is there this way ... so mission accomplished?

It's not just Jessa and Ben, either. Before Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are married, they have to deal with this too. Even when her brother gets carsick!

Back to Ben and Jessa, they decided to go to a shooting range, where he was shown up by his date. That Jessa Duggar gun photo wasn't just for show!

In a new sneak peek from TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, Jill Duggar and now-husband Derick Dillard scope out possible venues for their big wedding.

Emphasis on big. Nothing about the Duggar family is small, people!

As they narrowed down locations for their June 21 nuptials in Springdale, Ark., they first needed to find one with the capacity to hold 1,000 individuals.

A thousand. And you thought your wedding was overwhelming!

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were joined by Jill's mother, Michelle Duggar, for the outing, where they even looked at the place she married Jim Bob.

"I'm very familiar with Cross Church. My parents were actually married there and then they renewed their vows there," Jill explained to the cameras.

Jill joked about the "Duggar sized" stage the church offered, while the duo held hands and walked around the location, which seats up to 1,500 guests.

After getting engaged last month, 19 Kids and Counting star Jessa Duggar is showing off her engagement ring from Ben Seewald in a new Instagram video.

The 21-year-old, who's the fifth eldest of those 19 children, posted a close-up of her finger, turning her hand to various angles to show off the ring.

"My beautiful engagement ring!" she captioned the video.

".75 carat diamond, 18 karat gold band. Gorgeous!"

Recorded with the backdrop of her green, manicured nails, the princess-cut diamond is set on a unique thin, waved band. Suffice it to say, nice work Ben!

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald got engaged in August after 11 months together. "We are so blessed to be engaged!" the couple said in a statement.

"God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun! We are thrilled to see what the future holds - especially the wedding bells!"

Soon. The couple set a wedding date of November 1!

It's an exciting time for the expansive Duggar family, to say the least. Jessa will be the third Duggar to get married, and presumably have children.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar just can't believe that two of their eldest daughters, Jill and Jessa Duggar, are growing up and starting families of their own.

With Jill Duggar pregnant with her first child, and Jessa engaged to Ben Seewald, the 19 Kids and Counting parents are going through a  transitional period.

"Now that it's actually happening, there are all of these wonderful mixed emotions," Michelle wrote on her blog of watching her girls grow up and start families.

"It's so exciting, shocking, and surprising all at the same time."

"Jill and Derick, and Jessa and Ben, are becoming best friends and really getting to know each other in such a sweet way when the right one comes along."

"You get the joy of watching a loving relationship unfold."

Michelle couldn't be happier to see her kids in love, but there's an element of sadness, too. "It's good, not bad, yet change is sometimes hard," she said.
