Khloe Kardashian Files for Divorce
After living apart since September, reality star Khloe Kardashian began divorce proceedings on Friday from Lamar Odom, her husband of four years.
The documents, citing irreconcilable differences, were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser on December 13.
Things apparently reached the breaking point for Khloe when an inflammatory rap video surfaced showing an obviously impaired Lamar bragging about drugs, making money without the NBA and cheating on his wife.
The 29-year-old 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' celeb hasn't spoken publicly but posted this quote on Instagram Thursday, "I am strong because I've been weak. I am fearless because I've been afraid. I am wise because I've been foolish."
According to TMZ, the couple have a prenuptial agreement that kept all of their assets separate. Khloe is not seeking spousal support and has asked a judge to reject any such request from her estranged husband.
The couple wed in 2009, four weeks after meeting at a party. The ceremony was featured on the family's reality show.
