Kim Kardashian's Engagement Ring Listed at Christie's Auction House
Kris Humphries, ex-husband of Kim Kardashian, is selling her 20-carat diamond engagement ring at Christie's auction house in New York City.
The Lorraine Schwartz sparkler, featuring a 16.21-carat center diamond and two 1.80-carat side diamonds, will go to the highest bidder as part of a Bright & Beautiful event slated for October 15.
It is described in the pre-sale literature as the "property of a gentleman" with a portion of the proceeds to benefit a charity. The estimated value is $300,000 - $500,000.
This valuation is a far cry from the $2 million price tag that was reported to the media by the NBA star during his brief time in the limelight.
Kim accepted the mega bauble on May 18, 2011 and took it off her finger for the last time on October 31, 2011 when she filed for divorce after the now infamous 72-day union.
