Paris Jackson Health and Treatment Update
Paris Jackson, 15, remains hospitalized following a suicide attempt on June 5 and will soon be headed to a long-term treatment center that will provide a safe environment as she deals with personal issues.
Jackson swallowed pills and slit her wrist in a suicide attempt. Scarring on her arms indicated she had been engaged in self-harm behavior prior to the 911 call.
She is currently a patient in the psychiatric unit at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, but according to PEOPLE, plans are in the works to transfer Paris to another facility for additional treatment at the end of the month.
Grandmother and legal co-guardian Katherine Jackson, 83, is struggling, "This has been so hard for Mrs. Jackson. She keeps saying she's never had any experience of how to deal with someone in this situation."
Biological mother Debbie Rowe has been involved in all of the decision making, and favors long-term treatment that will provide a sanctuary where Paris can totally focus on getting well while continuing her studies at an undisclosed location.

We wish her well!
