Michelle Obama: Bangs Were 'My Midlife Crisis' VIDEO
Michelle Obama provided some interesting insight about her new hairdo during a taped Skype interview that will air Wednesday on 'The Rachael Ray Show'.
The First Lady told host Rachael Ray, "This is my midlife crisis, the bangs. I couldn't get a sports car. They won't let me bungee-jump. So instead, I cut my bangs."
She got the new 'do on her 49th birthday and received a big thumbs up from her husband. President Obama said, "I love her bangs! She always looks good."
Rachael joked that Michelle is the boss of her own hair. That prompted the First Lady to add as she made a circle gesture around her face, "I can do this. This is all mine."
The interview also touched on Sunday's Academy Awards. Who does Michelle want to see win Best Picture? She expressed a preference for 'Argo' or 'Lincoln' and acknowledged, "This has been a great year in movies, so I don't think we have a loser."
Michelle and her daughters Sasha and Malia spent the long President's Day weekend skiing with other family members in Aspen, Colorado. POTUS opted for a golf getaway in Florida that included playing 18 holes with PGA icon Tiger Woods.
