Justin Bieber Spoofs Black History Month, Valentine's Day on SNL
Justin Bieber played host and musical guest last night on 'Saturday Night Live,' kicking things off with an opening monologue spoofing Black History Month while trying to find true love before Valentine's Day.
The singer presented three roses to teenage girls in the audience as he shared some interesting facts. He got a laugh when he told one girl, "Did you know that Denzel Washington invented the peanut?"
He presented a bouquet of red roses to a special audience member, Whoopi Goldberg, and then proceeded to serenade her on stage. He was rewarded with a kiss on the cheek. Awww.
Other skits included the Bieb as the president of the Miley Cyrus fan club. He poked fun at himself during the spoof, "I heard Justin Bieber got busted for smoking weed, and he's really sorry about it, and that people make mistakes, and he's never going to do it again."
He portrayed a high-school abstinence celebration planner, a naive boyfriend in a 'Grease' spoof, a runaway skateboarder in a 'Californians' sketch and an Austrian in a Bravo sketch.
There were some serious moments when JB sang 'Nothing Like Us,' about his split with Selena Gomez and another tune from his new 'Believe' album, 'As Long As You Love Me.'
