Ashton Kutcher is Steve Jobs in Biopic 'jOBS' Film Clip
Actor Ashton Kutcher jumped at the chance to portray Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in the fall of 2011.
The 'Two and a Half Men' and 'That 70's Show' sitcom celeb snagged the starring role in the biographical drama, based on the career of the late businessman, designer and inventor covering 1971-2000.
Cast in the role of Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is actor Josh Gad.
In the clip, Jobs and Wozniak are walking through an underground parking lot at Hewlett-Packard, discussing a new operating system created by Wozniak that allows one to "see what you're working on, while you're working on it."
Jobs tries to drill into Wozniak's head the idea that this is revolutionary. "This is freedom to create, and to do, and to build, as artists, as individuals." But Wozniak is skeptical. "Nobody wants to buy a computer," he says. "Nobody."
Incredulous at that remark, Jobs answers, "How does somebody know what they want if they've never even seen it?"
The film was chosen to close the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and will be released in U.S. theaters on April 19.
