DWTS All-Stars Fusion Results: Leaderboard, Videos
During Fusion dance night on DWTS: All-Stars, the seven remaining celebrities and their pro partners combined two styles in the same performance and engaged in a swing dance marathon during a week when there was no elimination and scores will be carried over.
At the top of the show, host Tom Bergeron asked viewers to donate to help Hurricane Sandy storm victims as part of ABC's Day of Giving. At the end of the broadcast it was revealed that $15 million had been raised. Pro dancers Maks and Val Chmerikovskiy and Tony Dovolani all live in the affected area.
Shawn Johnson had two pro partners orchestrating her dance moves this week. Her regular partner Derek Hough was out of commission with a vertebrae issue in his neck, but that didn't stop him from trying to micro-manage her practice sessions with Mark Ballas, the pro who helped her win the mirror ball trophy during season eight.
The judges awarded the duo of Johnson and Ballas a perfect 30 for their combination Tango and Paso Doble, a fact that must have irked Hough.
After the performance Derek indicated he'd be back in dancing form next week. In our opinion, he should consider stepping aside so that Shawn can dance with the guy who isn't having a feud with head judge Len Goodman.
Kirstie Alley landed at the bottom of the leaderboard after admitting that the launch of her new tell-all and orchestrating a Hurricane Sandy relief effort in L.A. kept her from practicing. She seems fairly certain that she can win the competition as long as her fan base continues to overlook her lackluster dance skills.
Melissa Rycroft and her partner Tony won the night after picking up 10 extra points during the swing dance marathon. See how they all scored:
