Jennifer Aniston: Mother Nancy Dow Suffers Stroke
Over the weekend actress Jennifer Aniston's mother, Nancy Dow, 75, suffered a stroke and was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital.
Dow, a former model, is listed in serious condition and is reportedly unable to speak. She received a visit from her daughter Jennifer, who was accompanied by her boyfriend Justin Theroux.
Aniston and her mother were estranged for many years after her mother wrote From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir in 1999. They reportedly mended fences after the actress split with Brad Pitt in 2005.
The former Friends actress indicates they got past their problems, "It's good. It's OK. Things are now fine between us. All of that is over, and we're in touch with one another. We speak, and it's all over."
Nancy and John Aniston were married from 1965-1980. Jennifer is the only child born of that union. Dow has a son, John Melick, from another relationship.
John Aniston has had the long-running role as Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama Days of our Lives.
Jennifer's rep refused comment other than to say, "This is a private family matter."
