Zsa Zsa's Mansion for Sale? Not So Fast Says Daughter
While TMZ is reporting that Zsa Zsa Gabor's Bel Air mansion is for sale, her daughter Francesca Hilton is saying no way.
According to TMZ, Zsa Zsa and hubby Prince Frederic von Anhalt have decided to sell the 26 room house at an asking price of $28 million, and move into a $1.5 million condo in Westwood. It's "something Zsa Zsa always wanted," claims the Prince. (Note: Von Anhalt is no more a prince than I am.)
Von Anhalt says he's "sick and f**king tired of paying $30,000 a month...because we only use two rooms in the house."
Not so fast, says Hilton. Not only does her stepfather have no right to sell the manz, but the price "is so inflated that is not considered to be seriously for sale here in Beverly Hills Real Estate circles," her publicist says.
A previous lawsuit between Von Anhalt and Hilton reveals that Von Anhalt gave up all financial interests to the mansion. He also signed a prenup forbidding him from profiting from the sale of the property.
Although Von Anhalt claims the home has 8,000 square feet, tax records put it at 6,647 with 4 bedrooms and 5 baths. It was built by Howard Hughes and sold to Gabor in 1974 by Elvis Presley.
Gabor is currently recuperating from having her right leg amputated on January 14.
