Frances Bean Cobain in March Harper's Bazaar (Photos)
Frances Bean Cobain was photographed and interviewed for the March issue of Harper's Bazaar. The 15 year old daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, shared some of her thoughts on her appeal. She understands that fans of her parents are naturally curious and look on the teen as someone with celebrity status.
Frances Bean finds it odd that she would be looked upon in that way, when she really hasn't done anything of merit yet. That's not to say she won't. She was quite introspective on the subject, saying:
"These people are fascinated by me, but I haven't done anything," she says. "If you're a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I understand why you would want to get to know me, but I'm not my parents."
Frances Bean has done a couple of photo shoots but has largely been sheltered by Courtney. Will the teen become more immersed in modeling, music or acting? Courtney Love says that she is doing everything in her power to keep her daughter out of the spotlight. The former lead singer in the alternative rock band Hole, has had her share of problems with celebrity status. Cobain committed suicide when Frances Bean was just a year old. Love went through years of drug abuse issues that included losing custody of her daughter and receiving multiple court ordered stints in rehab.
We did a previous piece on Francis Bean and her mother, complete with photos. Be sure to check them out. We've also got a few photos of Courtney and Frances Bean after the jump.
