Reason #3948730 why Jay Z is boss: a video has surfaced of HOV making friends with an elderly woman on the NYC subway.

Mr. Carter was riding the subway to his final performance at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, when he chose a seat next to 67-year old Ellen Grossman.

Obviously taking note of the legions of screaming fans on the train and massive bodyguards, the unknowing Grossman asks Jay if he's famous. Adorableness ensues:

The Washington Post interviewed Grossman interviewed Grossman about her experience meeting the music megastar. The clip is part of a 24-minute documentary called "Where I'm From" about Jay Z's series of Barclays concerts.

Pippa Middleton, everyone's famous royal sister, was caught rocking an ultra high-waisted metallic skirt. Pippa was at a party for British brand W & W Jewellery.

According to Page Six, Ashlee Simpson has split from Vincent Piazza.

The two were together for a year and a half.

Reports are saying that the couple broke up over the Thanksgiving holiday due to increasing work obligations. Though the split is said to have been a mutual agreement, Boardwalk Empire star Piazza's career is the one that's been on the rise.

Amanda Bynes has resurfaced! Well... sorta.

The sinking starlet who has been through a publicity nightmare over the past few months returned to the social media bubble. Bynes reactivated her twitter account and created a new Instagram, before sharing a few selfies.

Lindsay Lohan made quite an entrance at the premiere of her lifetime movie Liz & Dick.

The troubled young starlet showed up to the Beverly Hills Hotel an hour late to her own premiere, naturally. She donned a shimmery gold gown with cutouts that clung to her curves.

"It feels great to be on a red carpet for working hard. It feels good," Lohan told the AP.

Though the film has been panned by critics thus far, a lot of people were expected to tune in. This is Lohan's first project in two years. In the meantime, what do you think of her dress?

Kimora Lee Simmons, the President of JustFab, is officially separated from her man of 5 1/2 years, act Djimon Hounsou. Hounsou's rep confirmed the split to People magazine.  

The pair was married in West Africa in 2008, before Kimora was legally divorced from mogul ex husband Russell Simmons. Despite that ceremony, the two never got a marriage license in the United States.

Kimora and Djimon have a 3 year old son together named Kenzo Lee. Kimora has two daughters Ming 12, and Aoki 10, from her previous marriage. 

What do you get for the Vampire Queen of Louisiana when she ties the knot? That question is now relevant because True Blood's Evan Rachel Wood got hitched to actor beau Jamie Bell!

The small ceremony took place on a Tuesday in California, with only close family and friends in attendance. Wood's rep confirmed has confirmed the marriage. 

Bell and Wood first met about 7 years ago when on the set of Green Day's music video for "Wake Me Up When September Ends." Despite an on/off romance and Wood's 2010 engagement to rocker Marilyn Manson, the duo reunited. Their plans to wed were reported in January.

"Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelmed," Wood Tweeted in regard to the marriage.
