I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

She has the name of a movie star, as noted by Jennifer Lopez. But does Thia Megia have the voice of an American Idol champion?

Only 15, the contestant displayed impressive confidence and comfort in front of the judges last night, delivering one of the best performances of the evening on Adele's "Chasing Pavements."

She's 22. She's a Harvard graduate. She works in the White House. She loves our president, but NOT in a Monica Lewinsky-type way, she's quick to point out.

Oh, and Molly DeWolf Swensen is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful voice. Should we just crown her as the next American Idol already?

We heard the story of Chris Medina days before this American Idol hopeful appeared on the show last night.

But that didn't make his Milwaukee audition any less emotional, as Medina recounted the story of his fiancee, Juliana, who got into a horrific car accident in October 29 and remained in a coma for over a month before awakening with brain damage.

Simply put, Scott Dangerfield doesn't look like the next American Idol.

The 22-year old student teacher showed up for this week's Milwaukee auditions with long hair, glasses and an overall genuine demeanor. Seriously, the guy didn't seem nervous or anxious or like he was trying to show off for the cameras.

American Idol lowered the minimum age to 15 this season, but a 27-year old stepped up and delivered one of the best auditions of the night in Milwaukee.

Jerome Bell, a wedding/Bar Mitzvah singer, wasn't afraid to tackle a classic (Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On"), belting out a powerful version that left Randy to give the dawg mad props for his "hot, crazy, vocals."

Jimmy Buffett might look back at the video below and laugh someday. But, for now, fans of the iconic singer are simply worried about his health.

Following a performance in Sydney, Australia last night, Buffett crashed off the stage and on to the floor. He was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital with head injuries and doctors now list the legend in stable condition.

Things have turned personal between Ryan Murphy and Kings of Leon.

First, the Glee creator lashed out at the band for rejecting his show's request to use its songs for an episode. Murphy cursed the group off, which prompted a quizzical response from its lead singer, asking why Murphy was so angry.
