I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

Paulina Porizkova is on record: she hates the new boobs of Heidi Montag and Kate Hudson.

What does this former super model and current attention monger think of Teresa Giudice's recently-enhanced chest? Probably nothing, seeing how low down on the celebrity totem pole this Real Housewife of New Jersey ranks.

But Giudice is trying to change that. She's featured in the latest issue of Steppin Out and tells the classy magazine she's "more confident" about her post-surgery body.

"I did it just for me," says Giudice. "My husband still loved me with my little boobies... We were married for nine years when I got them done. He still loved me the way I was... [Now] I feel so much sexier. Way sexier!"

Steppin Out Feature

The reality star returns to Bravo on May 3 when The Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres its second season. She says viewers will see a "much more sexual" individual, one whose sex life is "even better" than before.

Might they also soon see a much more naked Teresa in the pages of Playboy? Following her critique of Bethenny Frankel in that publication, this seems like a strong, nauseating possibility.

Dear Justin Bieber fans:

We know this young star is very cute and has a pretty good voice. But he's just a singer. Seriously, he hasn't cured a single disease or come up with financial regulation that will help ease the ongoing economic crisis.

It's necessary to pass along this message because people are starting to get seriously injured as a result of the mass hysteria surrounding Bieber. Even worse: police are shutting down his concerts!

Both these developments took place in Sydney, Australia over the weekend, as Justin was set to sing on stage for a morning TV show. But the performance was canceled after thousands of unruly fans created a security nightmare and at least 10 girls passed out.

Fans camped out overnight for the event. By 3 a.m., almost 4,000 people had gathered. When they heard Bieber might be in the vicinity, they rushed the stage, broke down barriers and generally acted like brides at a wedding gown sale.

Not even Tiger Woods acts this out of control inside a Las Vegas night club.

  • Canceled Concert
  • Sad Fans

As news of the cancelled gig spread, Justin Tweeted: "I love my fans... and I am just as disappointed as everyone else with the news from this morning. I want to sing for my fans," adding in capital letters:

"I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR...I DONT CANCEL...I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO THE POLICE CANCELING THE SHOW FOR SAFETY REASONS."

Bieber then wrote he was "beyond grateful...for such an amazing warm welcome."

We're sure he is, but perhaps Justin should also send a message to his followers: Chill the eff out! I appreciate the support, but I have a bowl cut and I sing songs other people have written for me. That's about it.

It doesn't get any more hypocritical than Kim and Khloe Kardashian.

We have no problem with the talentless reality stars taking advantage of society's obsession with celebrities, shilling for various products and posing for magazines. But we do ask for a semblance of consistency in their stances, especially when they affect young girls across the country.

Earlier this month, Kim posed naked for Harper's Bazaar because it offered her lots of money she wanted to send a message: "Embrace your curves and who you are."

But this is the same woman that touts the unregulated weight loss supplement QuickTrim at every opportunity.

The Kardashians celebrated Kourtney's 31st birthday in Vegas... by sending terrible messages to every female fan.

It's also the same woman who told Us Weekly over the weekend that "my sister weighs less than I do, and she just had a baby... that's kind of fascinating to me."

When Kourtney said breastfeeding new son Mason was a significant reason behind her rediscovered bikini body, Khloe chimed in:

"If that's all it takes... then someone breastfeed off of me! I don't care!"

Was Khloe joking? Of course. But do millions of teenage girls actually suffer from body weight issues and look to people such as the Kardashians for advice and self-esteem? Sadly, yes.

It would be refreshing if these sisters actually took that responsibility seriously.

Barring a collective, nationwide brain fart, Crystal Bowersox will be crowned American Idol champion next month.

But the season nine favorite came close to walking away from the competition a few weeks ago, as the pressure reportedly got to her and Crystal has to be convinced to stay by Ryan Seacrest.

While Bowersox has confirmed via Facebook that she had a "moment of doubt," she was asked by TV Guide Magazine this week if she was 100% committed to the show? Her response: “Of course. Or I wouldn’t be here.”

Final Six

Who should win season six of American Idol?

As for her Tuesday night rendition of "People Get Ready," a widely praised performance that brought the singer to tears, Crystal reiterated that a certain audience member caused her to break down:

“I love my dad. He’d go through hell and high water for me. He was wearing sunglasses [and] I knew he was trying to hide the fact if he cried. I looked up and saw the mirrored sunglasses and I was like, ‘I know he’s crying.’ And I just [lost it].”

Crystal also ditched the guitar and looked more dressed-up than usual for the single. Asked about the changes, she said:

"Just because I have dreadlocks doesn’t mean I can’t be elegant and pretty. I don’t have to wear jeans and ripped-up clothes. I’m a woman.”

She'll also soon be a champion.

Nickelodeon aired the Kids' Choice Awards last night, but it was an adult singer that got the pick of the young, hot litter.

After getting slimed on stage during her presentation of Favorite Movie Actress to Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry went backstage and laid a kiss on the sultry cheek of Justin Bieber. She later Tweeted:

Told you I would tap that. Yummy.

in related news, every teenage female in the country now despises Katy Perry.

In actual couple news, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato attended the event together.

"He's a great guy and you can't always genuinely say that about guys in the limelight," Lovato said on the red carpet. "I can really count on him. He's a great friend and has always been there for me. And he and his brothers make great music! What's not to like?"

Finally, in Cutest Couple Award news: Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart took home that trophy for New Moon.

"I have to admit, I have always dreamt of winning one of these orange blimps," said Lautner, who also named Favorite Actor. "Seriously."

Might this cause tension on set between Lautner and Robert Pattinson? According to every upcoming issue of unreliable supermarket tabloids: probably!

Following a major brain hemorrhage on Thursday night, Bret Michaels remains in critical condition.

As the rocker receives treatment at an undisclosed hospital, his rep has released a statement thanking fans for their "support, thoughts & concern." But we aren't the only ones offering thoughts and prayers to Michaels.

Celebrity Apprentice boss Donald Trump said over the weekend: "He's a great competitor and champion and I hope he will be fine."

A couple of ex-lovers of Bret's have also chimed in. First, Jes Rickleff - who won the first season of VH1's Rock of Love - told E! News: "My thoughts and prayers are with Bret and his family at this time and I pray for a quick and safe recovery."

Former fiancee Susie Hatton, meanwhile, has spoken to Bret's father and says doctors are still running tests to determine what caused the hemorrhage.

"He's a fighter. He's strong and for the most part, healthy," Hatton said of the 47-year-old singer, who she dated from1988 to 1993. "I think they're anticipating a full recovery."

Let's hope so. Get better soon, Bret! There are busloads of women in the world that you haven't slept with yet!

** UPDATE: A new message on Michaels' website reads:

"At this point Bret remains in ICU in critical condition. He is under 24 hour doctors care and supervision. We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located. As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc., will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal."

First a former employee went on record this week with nice things to say about Steven Seagal.

Now, the actor has someone else in his corner: Damien Ross, a former friend of Ray Charles, told TMZ that he set up the initial meeting between Ray's granddaughter, Blair Robinson, and the actor. It took place in a Memphis hotel in 2004, so Seagal could interview her for a personal assistant position.

Robinson has since accused Seagal of demanding sexual favors from her.

Does Steven Seagal think he's above the law? Or is the actor being wrongly accused?

Ross says Robinson was never alone with Seagal and never even had a room in the same hotel as the troubled star, which contradicts what Blair wrote in a sworn statement last week.

As for Seagal's lawyer, Marty Singer, he also questions Robinson's allegations and motives:

"Ms. Robinson was never employed by Steven Seagal and never received any compensation from any entity even though she claimed to have worked more than six years ago for my client."

As Crystal Bowersox and company battle it out for the season nine crown, they should stop and give thanks to Kelly Clarkson.

If that singer had not gone on to a successful post-American Idol career, avoiding any major scandals in the process, it's likely that Idol would not be what it is today.

So fans should keep that in mind today, as Clarkson celebrates her 28th birthday. Send in your best wishes to this star and enjoy the photo montage we've published in her honor...
