I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

Danielle Staub was almost attacked by Teresa Guidance on last night's Real Housewives reunion special.

But physical assault is actually the least of Staub's problems these days: she might find herself in financial ruin if Kevin Maher gets his way.

Danielle S.

The certified nut job is being sued by her ex for $5 million because he says her recent allegations - such as him raping her on a bed of broken glass - have defamed his character. In response, Staub filed documents this week that aim to get Maher's lawsuit thrown out.

Now, Maher has once again laid into Danielle. He tells Zap2It that her motion to bring up his actions from two decades ago (as evidence that his reputation can't be tarnished any further) is pure "BS," adding:

Over the last couple of years, Usher has had a few hits ("OMG," the discovery of Justin Bieber) and one noticeable miss: Tameka Foster.

Following a couple years and a couple sons together, she and the artist got divorced last summer. Asked about the relationship, Usher tells the latest issue of People: "I love her as the mother of my children... we're two different people and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent."

Friends and Artists

He then touched on a few other topics, as the interview is excerpted below:

On raising his sons:
"Usher [V] is always in everything. He's an instigator. He's the one who leads his brother astray. I was like that when I was his age... if one gets in trouble, the other one does, too. They both have a lot of energy. They can wear me out."

From sex tape talk to a near-beatdown, last night's Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special was as scripted entertaining as hyped.

While every second of this nauseating nonsense could have its own in-depth special, we've broken the night down to our favorite moments. Foremost them:

Reunion Madness

1. Jacqueline and Teresa alleged that Danielle Staub had sex with her boyfriend in front of Teresa's kids. Said Giudice, quite simply: "You're a pig, you're disgusting and you're desperate."

2. Teresa, on her rumored financial woes: "I have my husband, I have my four beautiful daughters and that's all I need." Let's see if she maintains that attitude when she's residing in a cardboard box next month.

Taylor Lautner has sued a RV dealership for $300,000 because it failed to deliver the actor's custom trailer to the set of his new movie on time.

That's not exactly a laughable sum of money, but the owner of McMahon's RV in Irvine, CA clearly finds it hilarious. He's responded to the lawsuit by offering a settlement... over push-ups!

We get it, Taylor Lautner, you're very strong. Now put those guns away!

Brent McMahon says he'll vigorously defend himself against the breach of contract charge if Lautner turns him down - but, first, he's proposed a test of strength. If he (somehow) defeats the Twilight Saga stud, McMahon said he'll donate $40,000 to the Children's Hospital of Orange County.

Lautner's lawyer's response? 1. Just donate that sum to a charity of my client's choosing anyway and this issue will be resolved; 2. You're a moron.

To many American Idol fans, Adam Lambert is one of a kind.

But appearing on NPR this week, the artist spoke glowingly of former Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, who would have turned 64 this Sunday if he hadn't died from AIDS in 1991, saying that singer was truly unique.

"It was about the music, but he also really captivated the audience because he was so electric. That's why he's an icon because you remembered what he did on stage, he had a presence," said Adam.

Some might consider Lambert - who is touring the nation and recently performed in NYC - the next Mercury, but the man himself says people such as Freddie are absent these days.

"There's definitely something missing in today's music scene," Adam said. "We don't have a lot of men on stage doing flamboyant or theatrical. We have a lot of female pop stars doing it, but where's the classic pop-rock showman?"

Look in the mirror, man. The onus falls on you. Good luck with it!

Will Grease be the word for Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus?

Speaking to Great Britain's The Sun recently, the 16-year old said he'd love to remake one of the most iconic films in history, taking over John Travolta's role of Danny Zuko in a new version of Grease.

Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez... Bodyguard

"It would be a lot of fun. It's been talked about a lot over the years, but it would be awesome to play Danny," Bieber said, creating a gossip storm over the girl he'd choose to be play his love interest.

Hollywood purists would scoff, but a Miley Cyrus/Justin Bieber version of Grease might make more money than Avatar.

"I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation. She can sing, dance and act," Justin said.

In the movie, the character of Sandy Olsson (played by Olivia Newton-John) actually goes from innocent to seductive, concluding the musical in a classic number that involves black tights and a leather jacket. In other words: it's the role Miley has been studying for all her life!

Danielle Staub is being sued for $5 million by ex-husband Kevin Maher, who says her allegations of rape and other insults against him are defaming.

But Staub has now taken legal action in return, making the same case THG makes any time Larry Birkhead sends us a letter complaining that we're harming his reputation via a few negative articles: you do that all on your own, pal!

Staub vs. Maher

In documents obtained by TMZ, Staub says Maher has "no evidence" that Danielle said anything especially bad about him. Moreover, even if something did slip out of her mentally unbalanced mouth... so what? Maher has already stuck a foot deeply into his own.
