I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

Bobby Brown has issued a new statement concerning his daughter, updating fans concerned over the mental and physical state of 18-year old Bobbi Kristina.

"My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better," the singer said today. "We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother's death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected."

A pair of contrasting Whitney Houston covers hit the small screen this week. At least in terms of their planning.

First, in a tribute to the late singer, Jennifer Hudson took to the Grammy Awards stage - with just 24 hours to prepare - and belted out an incredible rendition of "I Will Always Love You."

A few more details have been released regarding Whitney Houston's funeral on Saturday, and one is especially troubling for Bobby Brown.

First, though, we can confirm that gospel singer Marvin Winans - who officiated the 1992 wedding of Houston and Brown - will eulogize the legend at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, while New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says government building flags will fly at half-staff that day.

Liam Hemsworth will soon be known as a lot more than just Miley Cyrus' boyfriend, as the actor plays Gale in the upcoming big screen version of The Hunger Games.

But, for now, the Aussie is still mostly identified by his famous girlfriend, who was the subject of most of his interview with Details in this month's issue.

Bill O'Reilly and Nancy Grace may both be talking heads who crave attention and believe they are right about everything, but these talk show hosts have a contrasting opinion on Whitney Houston.

Grace wonders if the singer was murdered. O'Reilly, meanwhile, thinks Houston walked around with a death wish.

The natural position of Kim Kardashian is standing up tall, chest out, on the red carpet of Las Vegas.

So we suppose the reality star has a point when she blogs that she appears on this month's cover of Allure with a "very low-key, natural look!" See what she means here:

The earlier reports are true: Whitney Houston will be laid to rest this Saturday in her native city of Newark, New Jersey.

The service will take place at the New Hope Baptist Church, the same locale in which Houston (and cousin Dionne Warwick) sang in the choir as a child. Sources say the family wants to keep this event as private as possible and will limit capacity to no more than 300 guests.
