I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

Demi Lovato has Bipolar Disorder.

The singer made this brave admission in an interview with ABC last month. In response, many fans have expressed their support of the young star - but a troubling number have also mocked the celebrity, doubting the legitimacy of such an illness.

To Lovato's credit, she has now taken to Twitter and called out these pathetic human beings, writing:

I wish there wasn't so much pressure on society to be thin. It makes recovery so much harder. My heart goes out to any and all women who deal with this daily battle. I can't stand it when people make fun of the diseases so many people struggle from.

Along with making fun of illnesses or diseases, doing it over the internet only makes you more of a coward. Not to mention you've performed the act of cyber-bullying, something that is equally wrong and unacceptable.

An Oscar nominee has landed a pivotal supporting role in The Hunger Games.

Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada, Burlesque, Easy A) will come on board the beloved trilogy as Caesar Flickerman, the host of the title event and the man responsible for interviewing Katniss, Peeta and company in front of the viewing audience.

A relatively harmless character in the grand scheme of the Capitol, Flickerman is a flamboyant individual, making Tucci the ideal fit. He joins Wes Bentley as the two actors most recently named to the cast.

We'll still awaiting word on two of the most vital roles of all: President Snow and Haymitch.

Might Charlie Sheen's entourage soon expand beyond porn stars?

Producer/creator Doug Ellin wants to pair the troubled actor with Vincent Chase and company, having already contacted the star to appear on the final season of Entourage.

Ma-Sheen

"I called his manager and was told maybe I'd get him," Ellin told TV Guide. "But I'm still waiting for Charlie to call me back. I'd come up with something good."

New episodes of Entourage will conclude filming next month June, which would actually open up Jeremy Piven to replace Charlie on Two and a Half Men, if CBS so desires. Chimes in Ellin: "It would be feasible and they'd be lucky to have him."

We didn't think this was possible. But it turns out not everyone is a Belieber.

In an interview with a French radio program, CSI star Marg Helgenberger was asked about the young star, who appeared on the drama earlier this season. She said:

"Justin Bieber wasn't bad. He had never acted before. I shouldn't be saying this, but he's kind of a brat. He was actually very nice to me, but he locked one of the producers in the closet. And he put his fist through a cake that was on the table."

Sounds like a teen having fun to us. Check out Helgenberger's description now:

Simon and Paula

The Violent Torpedo Of Truth tour is out. An Evening With Charlie Sheen is possibly in.

During a radio interview with a Sydney station, the actor told host Scott Dooley he was planning to revamp his show a bit and take it overseas.

Charlie Sheen on Tour

“Why don’t I take this thing on the road to Australia, parts of Europe, parts of Asia. If I pick out six cities over two weeks and if it wasn’t about violent torpedoes and truth seeking but more about an evening with Charlie Sheen, if I told people what to expect maybe they wouldn’t heckle me like the drunk clowns that they are, ” Sheen said.

The man really knows how to woo an audience, doesn't he?

One was a sure thing, the other is a relative unknown in the States.

But both will soon be taking up time on your TV screen, as Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones have been named co-hosts of The X-Factor.

  • Steve Jones Picture

"These two are going to be great together," series creator Simon Cowell said of the choices. "I have always wanted Steve to work with us; I think he is a real star. Nicole is fantastic. I loved working with her on the U.K. X Factor last year. She is gorgeous and super-talented."

Scherzinger has been rumored as a host for weeks, while Jones' selection comes as a bit of a surprise. Corbin Bleu had been considered the favorite to appear alongside the former Pussycat Doll.

The X-Factor kicked off auditions this weekend and will air on Fox in September.

A few more excerpts are below...

On feeling the pressure: I was getting a little tired, probably. And really trying to do different things, do something that really wasn't my thing. This wasn't the time to do that. I didn't really have the greatest performance on Wednesday, and that's why I was sent home.
