I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

There's no defending Tracy Morgan's recent homophobic rant, in which he referred to gays who commit suicide as "pussies" and said he'd stab his son if he were to come out of the closet.

Tina Fey, who works with Morgan on 30 Rock and has known him for years, isn't trying to. She said the "violent imagery" of the diatribe was "disturbing" to her and Morgan clearly "went too far."

But the actress also stood up for her co-star in general, telling TMZ yesterday that Morgan isn't a bad person.

Morgan's hate-filled speech "doesn't line up with the Tracy Morgan I know, who is not a hateful man and is generally much too sleepy and self-centered to ever hurt another person," said Fey.

She added, referring to Morgan's follow-up statement: "I hope for his sake that Tracy's apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian coworkers at 30 Rock, without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheck from accounting to put in his pocket."

Do you accept the actor's words of contrition?

Selena Gomez has many opinions on many topics. She shares a few in the latest issue of Billboard Magazine, actually NOT touching on Justin Bieber for a change...

On singing vs. acting: "I have been juggling acting and signing for two-and-a-half to three years. But I have to start over in some areas. It’s interesting to start taking risks, to grow up through my music.”

Mall Trip

On technology: "I have a love-hate relationship with the Internet. I don’t like it in general - it’s vicious. But it’s also incredibly that I can connect with fans, because I love to hear their feedback and let them know about my life."

Justin Bieber is more than just the subject of every teenage girl's desires. He's also the subject of an important science experiment.

In a new video, the funny folks behind Blendtec - who specialize in simply tossing items, such as iPads and Vuvuzelas, into a blender - have filmed one of their staff members testing Justin's memorabilia.

What happens when Bieber's figurines, memoir and DVD are tossed into the everyday kitchen appliance? Find out now:

Caylee Anthony was murdered.

So stated Dr. Jan Garavaglia, a semi-famous coroner, who testified in court today during the Casey Anthony trial.

The defense has been arguing that the two-year old daughter of their defendant died of an accidental drowning, but there's "no other logical conclusion" aside from homicide, said Garavaglia, the Orange County chief medical examiner.

How can Garavaglia state this as a fact? She reached the conclusion based on the condition of Caylee's remains and other factors, including the discovery of duct tape around her skull.

Once again, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated a large chunk of change to a very good cause.

In this case, it's $500,000 to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks to assist the residents of Joplin, Missouri, whose town was destroyed by a tornado last month.

Brangelina at Movie Premiere

“With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead. Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient,” said Pitt.

Added Jolie: “Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much.”

This isn't the first time this famous pairing has stepped up in the name of disaster relief. They gave $1 million to support rebuilding efforts in Haiti last year.

He lasted one more movie than Megan Fox did, Shia LaBeouf made it clear today: he's finished with the Transformers franchise.

"I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think [director Michael Bay] will either," the actor told MTV News. "It's still a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else."

But should they?

LaBeouf does claim Dark of the Moon is the "best movie" yet, in terms of "action and geography." But critics slammed the sequel and many consider the franchise to be the epitome of mindless, summer trash.

Do you think there should be a fourth Transformers?

Kim Kardashian is threatening a lawsuit against Bret Lockett, the NFL safety who claims to have bedded the useless celebrity while she was dating Kris Humphries.

But while Kim wants us all to think Lockett is a liar, sister Khloe Kardashian has a different take on the random athlete: the guy is legitimately nuts!

"I think he really believes that he's been with her," Khloe told E! News this week, adding that the entire situation is just "sad."

One second she was talking about Justin Bieber, the next second she was under the care of a doctor.

Multiple sources confirm that Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital last night, soon after taping an interview with Jay Leno. The 18-year old singer was reportedly complaining of nausea and a headache and remained overnight to undergo tests.

We hope Selena is feeling better today. If not, we can't imagine any illness that a few kisses from Justin Bieber won't fix.

Tracy Morgan is sorry.

The comedian came under fire today when word got out about a set in Nashville last Friday that included a mean-spirited diatribe against gay people. It was both insulting and not remotely funny.

"I want to apologize to my fans and the gay and lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville," Morgan said, under pressure to retract his statements.

Added the 30 Rock star: "While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context."

Do you accept this apology?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is taking over for Megan Fox in the latest Transformers movie and.... sorry, we lost our train of thought staring at her cover photo for Maxim.

You understand why, right?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on Maxim

Inside the magazine, if men ever make it that far, the model talked about working with director Michael Bay.

"Everything is 10 times what it is in reality," she said. "More fire, more noise, more explosions! Faster, harder... I was thrilled to witness it all.”
