I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

Ashton Kutcher considers himself to be a lucky man. And not just because he landed Demi Moore as a wife.

The actor appeared at the CBS Upfronts this week, greeting reporters and ad buyers and telling the audience how psyched he is to be joining the cast of Two and a Half Men.

"I've never probably in my 13 years in show business received more phone calls and e-mails from people congratulating me on this job. You'd almost think I won the lottery or something, which I kind of did," Kutcher said. "I've got the best job in show business, and I am ecstatic about that."

Danielle Staub is going from the pole to the couch.

A day after naked photos of the reality star stripping at Scores hit the Internet, Staub says she's walked away from that gig and is seeking professional help for problems anchored in childhood sexual abuse.

"I have addictions with love and low self-esteem, and I need help," Danielle tells People. "For years I have had the suicide hotline on my cell phone and would like nothing more than to free myself from this constant pressure."

In Need of Assistance

While we don't doubt Staub has issues and we hope she solves them soon, it's a bit hard to take the former Real Housewife of New Jersey seriously when she's filming a reality show right now with Heidi Montag and Jake Pavelka - and when she says she has "sought out" Dr. Drew for assistance.

It gets better.

Justin Bieber passed along this message to bullied teens back in November. Now, he's done so again, having visited a group of children in Japan this week, many of whom were affected by that country's March 11 tsunami.

Addressing nine students from some of the regions hit hardest by the disaster, Bieber said: "Things can get better and things will get better. There's only good times to come. My prayers go out to all of your families and all of you."

The 17-year old followed his visit with a couple inspiring Tweets that read:

Just met some incredible kids who have been thru alot because of the devastation here in Japan... Blessed to meet them and proud to know them. When you meet kids like that... with all their strength and courage to move on you realize the important things in life."

Amen, Justin. Amen.

Beyonce served as the mentor on last night's American Idol performance show, offering advice to Scotty, Haley and Lauren. And, of course, giving her career a boost in the process.

The singer premiered the official music video for "Run the World (Girls)," an empowering single off her upcoming album, "4." It features Beyonce and a few dancing pals in a deserted African nation, shaking it for a group of men.

"I found a lot of inspiration in '90s R&B; Earth, Wind & Fire; DeBarge; Lionel Richie; Teena Marie," Beyonce said of the album. "I listened to a lot of Jackson 5 and New Edition, but also Adele, Florence + the Machine, and Prince. Add in my hip-hop influences, and you can hear how broad it is. I also gave myself more freedom to really belt out some songs, and bring soul singing back."

View the cover art for "4" HERE and sound off: what do you think of the video?

I love this story - and if I had said no, I would regret it every day.

So says Jennifer Lawrence to Entertainment Weekly in that magazine's latest issue. The Winter's Bone star was a controversial choice to portray Katniss Everdeen, mostly due to her age and blonde hair color. But a simple dye job has at least taken care of the latter problem.

Is this the image of Katniss on the big screen you had in mind, readers?

In an interview with the publication, Lawrence laughed because she recounted the experience of being transformed into the novel's main character... and realized it was akin to exactly what Katniss went through as a Tribute.

Did Lauren Alaina ruin her chance at advancing to the American Idol finale last night?

The beautiful, talented singer stumbled during a key change on "If I Die Young," the kind of mistake that will either garner her sympathy from fans - or lead to her ousting, considering competitors Haley Reinhart and Scotty McCreery both had strong nights.

But Alaina did shine on her two other renditions, most notably having a blast while belting out "Wild One."

"When you let yourself go is when you're your best," Randy told Lauren after that performance.

Watch it, and her cover of "I Hope You Dance" below. Will viewers give Alaina an opportunity to make up for her mistake on next week's finale?

You Oughta Know, American Idol fans: Haley Reinhart is in it to win it!

The talented crooner took to the stage three times last night, covering songs made famous by Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and Alanis Morissette.

While the results were mixed (we loved "What Is and What Should Never Be," but Haley struggled during the verses on Morissette's revenge-based classic), there's no doubt that Reinhart stood out from Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery. That's what happens when you actually fall during a performance when your dad plays guitar for you on stage.

Check out one of Haley's renditions above and two more below. Think we'll be seeing her in the finals?

With Beyonce serving as his mentor, and with millions of eyes on him last night, Scotty McCreery all but assured himself of a spot in the American Idol finale.

The aspiring country artist went three-for-three in terms of impressive performances, kicking off this week's performance show with a strong ballad. In response to his version of "Amazed," Steven Tyler said what we're all thinking: this guy keeps getting better and better...

From there, Jimmy Iovine selected Thompson Square's "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" for Scotty's next cover, breaking out the acoustic guitar for a version of the track that led Randy Jackson to compare the crooner to Garth Brooks.

Ridiculously high praise? Of course. But watch McCreery belt out this tune and also "She Believes in Me" below and it's easy to see why folks are getting carried away.

The fighting between Kelsey to Camille Grammer has resumed once again. And, this time, the kids are involved.

As first reported by TMZ, the former sitcom star has filed documents in court to wrestle custody of the ex-couple children away from the Real Housewife.

Sources tell the site that the kids - daughter Mason and son Jude - have been having emotional problems since their parents' divorce. Kelsey wants to fix this by taking over sole physical custody, though it's unclear where they would live:

Kelsey and new wife Kayte Walsh reside in Chicago, while Camille has the children in Los Angeles. She has offered her ex a 50/50 split, but he has thus far turned that option down.
